The host of this home is a photographer by trade and often uses the address as a studio. It's not hard to see why she does this. For a start, the set of skylights and the huge glass door means that the main living room is treated to a bountiful amount of natural light. The interior design is effortlessly stylish and takes in a range of influences, from the mid-century-inspired furnishings and the industrial-chic light fixtures to the chic monochromatic bathroom. Perhaps the biggest showstopper, however, is the home's private terrace, which has plenty of seating and even a small lawn. If the weather's looking good, there are plenty of spots nearby to enjoy this stroke of luck, as we're in one of London's greener corners. Cannizaro Park is fifteen minutes' walk away, while Fishponds Wood Nature Reserve can be reached in just over half an hour on foot.

You'll find this apartment in Putney, not far from restaurants, riverside pubs, and Putney Heath. Although not directly in the centre, sightseeing is still easy here – just hop on the mainline train and you'll be in Waterloo in around ten minutes. Travelling on business? Two different desks make remote working a breeze. There's also a stylish living area (complete with a Sky TV package), a well-equipped kitchen, and a communal garden that's shared with other residents. Factor in the paid on-site parking, and it makes a great base in the Big Smoke.

Locally, there are restaurants and bars, or for trips further afield, hop on the tube at Putney Bridge Underground Station to explore the city with ease.

Whether you need to work, play or relax, this extraordinary double-fronted home in Wandsworth has you covered. You only have to look at the 100-foot-long (and extra wide) garden to see what we mean. As well as a lawn plenty big enough for games, there's also plenty of alfresco seating. This is what exceptional living in London looks like. Stylish, elegant yet expansive, it’s a home begging for a large family or groups of friends to come together. Feedback from guests regarding this home has never been short of outstanding, and it's easy to see why. Upstairs you’ll find luxurious bedrooms with Egyptian cotton sheets – we’ll leave you to decide who lucks out on that top floor air-conditioned master with a garden view terrace. But for us, the clear standout feature has to be downstairs in the impressive kitchen, living and dining area, an incredibly impressive room that holds the entire household comfortably with stunning views of the beautiful garden. This space is best served with those incredible full-height patio doors slid right back to let the sunshine in, as you come together for a long, lazy breakfast before setting out to explore. And you’re in the right location to do so. Given the size of this place you'll be forgiven for thinking you're well outside the city, but you can walk to Wandsworth Common station in just over 10 minutes, and from there it's a quick 10-minute train ride to Victoria Station. Or for something a little slower paced, do like the locals and head round the corner for a brisk walk around Wandsworth Common – via the bustling high street first for that obligatory coffee. For those arriving by car, this home has its own off-street parking space – a very welcome rarity in London.

Beyond here, it’s just a short walk to restaurants, shops and cafes in Putney. It’s also just a short walk to the nearest tube station – providing great connections with central London.

This Fulham apartment is full of delights. The all-in-one living space lends itself well to socialising, be it laid-back movie nights or formal family dinners. Both bedrooms are as cosy as the next (though there's only one bathroom), while the fifth guest will sleep on the sofa bed in the lounge. There's even a small garden here, perfect for summertime sundowners. Location-wise, Bishops Park and Fulham Palace Gardens are nearby if you're keen on greenery. The Thames and its riverside walking paths are also a short stroll away. With nearby transport links and proximity to shops and restaurants, we think this home makes an excellent base.
