This home is in Summertown, Oxford's most bohemian neighbourhood, and well-known for its organic wine bars, buzzy restaurants and independent shops. The Country Life

In a residential neighbourhood just outside of Oxford, this apartment offers a comfortable home-from-home with great connections to the centre. There’s parking here, so you can easily drive into the city, or hop on the bus just outside the apartment. The patio may not be the most inspired, though it’s a nice option for morning coffee. Similarly, the kitchen is a little dated, but it’s well-equipped for nights you feel like eating in. That said, you’ll find Headington's local pubs and cafes within walking distance.

It may be a rural base, but the charming centre of Oxford is a fifteen-minute drive away. Stanton St John has everything you need with a village shop and farm shop within a five-minute walk. The interior benefits from large sash windows that let in oodles of natural light, while there's a distinct mid-century inspiration with the furnishings — our favourite being the Art Deco sideboard on which the Smart TV sits. The bedrooms are both large and finished in a relaxing palette of muted greys, while the master bathroom is a sleek treat, especially the tub after a long day exploring all that Oxfordshire has to offer.
