This characterful townhouse can be found in the heart of Oxford's Golden Triangle. Outside, it’s just a short stroll to independent shops, bars and cafes on Cowley Road. You can walk into the historic city centre in just twenty-minutes and there are great public transport links – making it easy to explore further afield. Parking is available and there’s a sweet little garden for warm weather drinks. Plus, the rooms are perfect for families and groups in search of simplicity and ease. You’ll also find all of the bedrooms come with desks – making this a great option for remote workers. 

I'll Keep You

This apartment makes for an excellent base in Swindon. It’s bright and comfortable, equally well suited to visits for work as to family breaks. It’s petite but well furnished with everything you might need for a short stay.

After a hectic day seeing the sights, you’ll be glad to have a cosy lounge to curl up in. Watch movies while dinner is cooking, then sit down at the table to dine together. If you don’t fancy cooking, you’re in luck, as the apartment is on a street bustling with bars, restaurants and independent shops. You’ll have plenty to choose from when it comes to dining out. 

The apartment is in the heart of Swindon’s Old Town, which is fitting given the nod to retro styling in this home. You’ll still have all the modern amenities you’ll need though, whether it’s wi-fi or a desk to work at. 


A Home In The City

Even before you enter, it’s clear that there’s something special about Faerie World. The high position of the cottage gives a heavenly view of the stream below, and you can hear the babbling water from the terrace, which is itself surrounded by flowers, and makes you feel like you’re in a fairytale. Once inside, the living room and bedroom don’t disappoint. The bedroom in particular, with its Farrow & Ball colours, stands out. The kitchen doesn’t have the same aesthetic charm, but that’s a small gripe, and shouldn't give you any cause for concern.

Faerie World

This small but perfectly formed shepherd’s hut is a real slice of country life. Set in the grounds of a traditional Cotswold cottage, and surrounded by beautiful countryside, it’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down and tune in to nature. Inside, there’s a cleverly designed pull out and put away bed and the petite kitchen has everything you could need for rustling up a romantic supper. Enjoy your morning coffee on the private patio that overlooks the owner’s small holding, before striking out on one of the local walking trails. The honeyed villages of the Cotswolds are a short drive away and you’re spoilt for choice with local pubs. In the evenings, turn on the twinkling fairy lights, pour a glass of wine and listen to the soft sounds of the countryside. There’s no television here, but who needs one when there are this many stars to gaze at? 

Little Lamb

This charming barn conversion offers a tranquil escape in a quiet, rural part of Oxfordshire. It’s in the charming village of Stanford-in-Vale, close to the Ridgeway and the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – beautiful Burford is only a twenty-five-minute drive. There's an abundance of pretty villages and scenic walks nearby, so you’ll have plenty to fill your days. When you’re not out exploring, you’ll love the country charm of this home, with its exposed beams, brick walls, and far-reaching views. 

The Regal Orchard

Welcome to a rural retreat that serves up not only the perfect idyllic location, surrounded by fields but also bags of style and comfort. There's nothing rustic about this place, with underfloor heating, window walls and a high-end kitchen and bathroom. A modern oak barn that feels private and secluded, it's the ideal space to get away from it all and enjoy a slower pace of life.

Start your day with coffee at the breakfast bar, and decide between a long walk in the Chilterns and exploring the nearby towns and villages (we recommend the market town of Thame, just an eight-minute drive away). But if you're here to go completely off the radar for a few days, that's fine too – there's nothing stopping you from lounging in the garden hammock all day, soaking in the private hot tub and streaming your favourite shows on TV. And as the sun begins to set, light the barbecue and enjoy your meal on the patio, before heading up to the balcony for the best view of the stars before bed.



Forgotten Fields

Getting cosy in the Cotswolds has never looked better than when staying at this colourful barn. We love its playful and fun design – your hosts have let their imagination run wild. There’s a great colour palette going on here – pink, teal and palm prints in the large, beamed kitchen, a sumptuous navy in the living room, and a different tone in each of the six bedrooms. There are also not one, not two, but three freestanding bathtubs to choose from – a yellow one in the master, a pink-checked one, and an outdoor tub for when you want to feel a little wild and free. 

For warmer, sunny days, the barn surrounds a private courtyard where you can catch a few rays if you’re lucky, or simply enjoy an alfresco meal – there’s even a Weber barbecue for you to flex your culinary muscles. Outside the comforting walls of the home, you’ll find plenty to keep you busy. The Cotswolds is renowned for its charming, honey-stone villages, and of course, you’re never far from a pub. There’s also plenty of walking to be done if you feel the need to stretch your legs. But don’t stay away too long – that outdoor tub is surely calling your name.

A Blush Of Pink

Staying in this charming Cotswolds cottage can make you feel like you’re a character from a Jane Austen novel. Located in a wonderfully secluded part of Wiltshire and surrounded by sprawling fields and farm animals, this home is a rural sanctuary of calm. French doors merge the comfortable living room with the natural light and country air of the outdoors – it's the perfect spot for relaxing with a good book, playing games or rustling up a home-cooked meal while socialising with friends and family. This location gives you easy access to countless walking trails, and when you’re not wandering the fields or following footpaths, there’s a host of traditional pubs and local restaurants to take your fancy. While you’re here, it’s worth visiting the nearby towns of Malmesbury and Tetbury – and check your calendar, maybe your stay overlaps with the famed Badmiton Horse Trials or Tetbury Woolsack Race.

The garden is a highlight during the warmer months, and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking home-cooked meals. If work is on the agenda, you’ll find three desks, while the laptop-friendly dining table doubles up as a collaborative workspace.

Oxford Oasis

If you’re seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, this home’s for you. Lovingly restored, contemporary blends seamlessly with traditional here – just mind your head on those beautiful old beams and sloping ceilings. Days at home will be well spent relaxing in the freestanding tub, indulging in movie nights in the cinema room while tucking into the thoughtful welcome hamper, or simply soaking up the peace of the Cotswold countryside. Locally, you’ll find the market town of Witney just a short drive away, and Oxford within easy reach – there’s something for everyone here.

But our favourite bit is the four-poster, king-size bed which guarantees a luxurious night’s sleep. just what you need after a day tackling some of the best hiking routes in the Cotswolds. The Cotswolds Way runs right by the cottage and walks around Sudeley Castle are just a few miles away.
