Always Home 

This apartment in Kingston upon Thames puts you close to the town centre and the River Thames, with shops and cafes right on your doorstep. It’s part of a 1960s block – the kind of architecture that splits opinion, though it’s becoming more popular again. The interiors are simple, and it's on the smaller side, but you’ll have everything you need for a practical stay. Plus, there are shared gardens to enjoy when the sun’s out. All in all, it’s a handy base in one of London’s greenest areas.

River Stroll

Ideal for digital nomads and work travellers, this penthouse apartment is contemporary to its core. The living space offers a comfortable spot to unwind away from the hustle and bustle. Keen cooks can whip up dinner in the sleek kitchen, while those needing to hunker down will find desks in two bedrooms. There's also a roof terrace – though there's nowhere to sit – and a private parking space. Location-wise, you're just a twenty-minute bus ride from Chiswick Business Park, a fifteen-minute drive from Kew Gardens, and a five-minute walk from Brentford Station and its train links to central London.

Brentford Buzz

Nestled in the heart of Kew, this bright flat is a ten-minute walk from the famous Kew Garden and mere steps from excellent cafes, pubs and eateries. Anthophiles, amateur botanists and keen horticulturists will love this flowery locale, but even if you don't have a green thumb, this village-like neighbourhood is sure to impress. Hop on the District Line or Overground at Kew Gardens Station (a five-minute walk) and you'll be in lively Richmond in minutes. Or, if you're in the mood to relax, pour yourself a glass of wine and lounge on the private balcony. Filled with potted plants and overlooking the idyllic street, it's a sweet spot to bask in the sunshine while enjoying cocktails and good company. Why not fire up the charcoal barbecue for an alfresco meal as the sun goes down? Inside is just as lovely – each room is brimming with natural light, thanks to the big windows, and traditional features like original hardwood floors. The design is minimal and simple, yet it still feels cosy. Whether you're unwinding with a book in the living area, soaking in the pastel bathtub or nodding off in the three comfortable bedrooms, you're sure to feel right at home here.

The Language of Flowers

Located on the south side of the River Thames in the district of Roehampton, this open-plan designed flat is decorated with a stylish, modern flare. The array of books and plants found throughout the apartment provide a cosy lived-in feel, while the ample balcony with outdoor lounge and barbecue are a unique feature when it comes to city living. Nearby, guests will find some of London’s most stunning outdoor attractions, such as the world famous Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and the sprawling Richmond Park with its hundreds of deer. Barnes rail station is also just a few minutes’ walk away, providing easy access to the city centre.

The Southside

Live the Richmond high life for a while with a stay at this impeccably finished family home nestled along a quiet, leafy street that's close to the River Thames. Your host's years of experience in the high-end hotel industry shine through from the moment you arrive. The sumptuously cosy living room boasts original artwork and just the right amount of antiques. Whilst over in the kitchen, there’s every type of appliance you can imagine to whizz up a feast. But if cooking isn’t your thing, never fear, your host can organise a private chef to do the work whilst you enjoy some pre-dinner drinks outside in the south-facing garden.  Upstairs, there’s a peaceful feeling throughout. Each room has its own charming personality, but all offer similarly beautifully made beds that look straight out of a five-star boutique hotel. Beyond this luxurious home, just a short stroll over the bridge, you’ll find the village-feel centre of Richmond waiting. After a morning run along the River Thames, grab a coffee outside on the high street and bed down for some celebrity spotting - David Attenborough, Mick Jagger and many more choose to reside here. Or if nature’s more your thing, make a beeline for Richmond Park for a spot of deer spotting instead. And when the bright lights of central London finally sway you, hop in a taxi booked via the host, and you’ll be in central London in half an hour. 

Coffee at Catherine's

Located on a tree-lined avenue, this smart family home is a welcoming retreat from bustling city life. It's situated in Barnes, a suburban neighbourhood with an easy-going ambiance that's just a twenty-five-minute train ride from London's Waterloo Station. Step through the front door of this house, and you'll find a charming space with plenty of traditional touches – think wooden floors, decorative ceiling moulding, and an original fireplace. The kitchen and dining area is a particularly special spot, where you can socialise while you cook before serving up your culinary creations at the stylish bench dining table. When it comes to relaxing, you're spoilt for choice – get cosy in the living room, breathe in some fresh air on the balcony or sink into a luxurious bubble bath. The River Thames is just two minutes away from your front door, should you want a waterside walk, and you can wander over to Richmond Park in around twenty-five minutes. And, should you want to head into central London, it only takes forty-five minutes to get there on public transport.

The Thames Tide

Close to upmarket Kensington and bohemian Notting Hill is the charming area of Brook Green. Known for its village atmosphere, period architecture and excellent transport links (Hammersmith, Goldhawk Road and Shepherds Bush stations are all within walking distance), this pocket of West London suits families, business travellers and those craving a quieter neighbourhood. Yet it's still close to excellent restaurants, cosy gastropubs, green spaces and plenty of shopping, with Westfield London (fifteen-minute stroll), Kensington High Street (twenty-minute walk) and Holland Park (thirty minutes on foot) all just a stone's throw away. This bright apartment in a picturesque mansion is the perfect place to rest your feet and recharge after a long day exploring. The fully-stocked kitchen has everything you'll need to rustle up a meal, while the cosy living area has a comfortable sofa, Freeview channels and DVD player for chilled nights at home. There's also a desk if you need to do some remote working, though we'd probably get distracted watching the world pass by outside the window. But our favourite feature is the sumptuous rolltop bath. We can't think of a better way to end the day than with a glass of wine, a good book and a relaxing soak. Pure bliss.

The Wandering Scholar

There's a lot to love about this West London loft conversion. First, there's the industrial-inspired design and smart layout. It's spread across two floors (and the stairs can be a little steep), with the living area perched on the top level to maximise natural light. There's also a well-equipped (albeit compact) kitchen, while the dining table can double as a desk if you're in town for business. We also like the location – it's about a thirty-minute train ride from central London, but it has a lot to offer. Kew Gardens and other green spaces are within walking distance, Chiswick's business parks can be reached by bus, and Heathrow is a short drive away.

The Urban Loft

This is a four-bedroom home like no other with its vast collection of art that will inspire the artist in you. Enviably located in tranquil Richmond, next to the wonderful park, you will even be able to purchase a painting if the fancy takes you.

The House of Art

Located in Richmond upon Thames, one of London's most attractive boroughs, this home has a fabulous address. Keen gardeners will love it here – the house is just a three-minute stroll to the Lion Gate, one of the entrances to Kew Gardens. If that wasn't enough, your lovely hosts provide four free tickets to the gardens, and this membership also gives you 10% off the shop there. There are plenty of chic boutiques, restaurants and bars on your doorstep to sample. Or, go for a walk along Richmond Riverside and explore Richmond Park. You can reach Central London in thirty minutes by Tube or train too. 

Back at this home, enjoy a cup of tea in the garden with its pretty flower borders, or relax on the sofa in the living room and pick a book from the shelf. We love the French doors, which allow light to flood in, as well as the neutral hues enlivened by pops of blue and green. Later, rustle up a salmon tray bake in the modern and stylish kitchen with its navy blue units (there's a blender, food processor and juicer). There's a handy office space here, too, if you want to catch up on work. To top it all off, this place has private parking to boot.



Kew Gardens Retreat

This modern pad is an ideal base for friends and family keen to visit London yet escape the hustle and bustle of the city. We love the space here, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out across the home’s three floors. In the city on business? The top floor boasts an open space, complete with a desk neatly tucked away for remote work. With nearby attractions like Marble Hill House, Richmond Riverside, Richmond Park, and Turner's House, there's plenty to explore right on your doorstep. For trips further afield, St Margarets Station is a short walk away, with trains into central London every fifteen minutes.
