You’ll never be short of things to do when you stay at this characterful country estate. There’s a sauna, hot tub, tennis court, and a gym, plus a natural swimming pond with its own sandy beach. And when you’re ready to retire indoors, you’ll find generous, ornately-decorated rooms and plenty of space to get comfy. It’s also close to Windsor (for a visit to the castle or Legoland) and less than half an hour to London on the Elizabeth Line. Family get-together or group getaway, this home has all you need for an extra-special stay.

The Quiet Oak

This home located just outside of Maidenhead is certainly one of the more pared-back properties in our collection, but it's so well-executed that we felt compelled to include it.

The ivory walls, shiny wooden floors and large windows combine together to make the interior feel bright and inviting. while there's plenty of sleek black surface space in the horseshoe-shaped kitchen to whip up family-sized feasts. Out through the French doors, there's a garden that runs around three sides of the house that could very easily be the site of summer lawn games.

The centre of Maidenhead sits about seven minutes' drive away when you fancy a meal out or a trip to the theatre. In the other direction, walking routes in the Chiltern Hills AONB can be reached in a similar amount of time.

Ebony & Ivory

With great transport links into London and just a ten-minute drive from Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour, this ground floor home in Watford gives more than enough bang for your buck. Smart and bright, it's a great option for families, with an open-plan layout to the living area, dining spot and kitchen, and flexible sleeping arrangements. Both bedrooms have en-suites so there's no queuing for the shower here, and one has patio doors opening straight out onto the patio – the perfect spot for breakfast on warm mornings. You'll find a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking at home, but here you're just a two-minute stroll from the High Street with all its bars and eateries.

The Gap

Dating back to the 1800s, this Grade II-listed barn is now a comfortable home-from-home. Underfloor heating keeps toes warm for visits during the cooler months, and the indoor climbing wall and gym equipment will keep active types occupied. When the sun does shine, there’s a dining table and chairs on the decking for alfresco lunches. The Chiltern Hills are on the doorstep, and the Black Lion pub is a fifteen-minute walk away. If you’d like to swap the countryside for some hustle and bustle, High Wycombe is reached in less than twenty minutes by car.


Chilterns Charm

Sitting on a quiet residential street in central Windsor, this beautiful upper maisonette offers a warm and welcoming base for those looking to experience the town’s rich and royal history, as well as the delights of nearby Eton, Ascot and Legoland. 

Laid out over three floors, you’ll find plenty of space to socialise as well as opportunities to steal yourself await for some relaxing privacy. We love the woodland palette of the living area with its jewel-toned accents – the ideal spot to kick back, whether on the plump sofa with a glass of wine or around the farmhouse-style dining table for a celebratory home-cooked meal. Upstairs, the three bedrooms each boast their own singular decor, from the claret and blue Britannia-themed one to the nature-inspired single bedroom and the stunning main bedroom with its large slanted window. Factor in the bathroom’s luxurious rainfall shower and you’ve got everything you need for a perfectly blissful stay. 

Outside of your home, you’ll find a couple of cosy pubs at the end of your road, as well as a supermarket a two-minute walk away. When you’re ready to soak up some history and culture, Windsor Castle, Windsor’s High Street and Alexandra Park are a five-to-ten-minute walk away, and Eton is a mere fifteen minutes away on foot. Elsewhere, Legoland is a ten-minute drive and Ascot is twenty minutes away by car. 


Britannia Jewel

Minutes away from central Windsor, this riverside apartment is in the perfect spot to discover the many shopping and restaurant areas on your doorstep. Although it isn’t the biggest apartment, and it being on the second floor may be difficult for those with limited mobility to access, multiple openings to the breezy balcony opens up the space when socialising with family or friends. Looking for a royally historic day out? This home is within a ten-minute walk to Windsor Castle and the Royal Borough Museum.

The Windsor Lookout

This cosy home is the perfect rest point for a romantic getaway to the riverside town of Marlow. Snuggle up together on the sofa to watch a movie on the TV as the smell of a delicious homecooked meal wafts throughout the house. Enjoy your tasty plate of food at the dining table with a documentary on the screen as you socialise with your loved one, planning a fun itinerary of what you'll be up to in the town. If you're fancying a relaxing day in, get under the duvet to read a new book you picked up recently as you sip on a toasty cup of coffee. If weather permits, head out to the bench outdoors to dine alfresco with a hearty meal, washed down with a sumptuous glass of red – or sparkling bubbly.

Wander the streets of Marlow to see what you can find – there's a gorgeous Vietnamese restaurant nearby as well as a great selection of rustic pubs to unwind in as you enjoy a pint or two. A short drive takes you to the verdant Higginson Park where you get a fantastic view of the river and is a lovely spot for a picnic. 

River Rest

A fifteen-minute stroll from the shop-lined High Street, you'll find Windsor Castle beyond – a must-see fortress for royal family fans. Fancy afternoon tea at a nearby racecourse? Or, how about exploring the Tudor grounds of Eton College? With free parking, this upstairs apartment promises easy access to all of that and more. Books and games are waiting in the colourful living room, and there's a handy workspace in the bedroom too. While six guests are welcome, you'll have to draw straws for seats at the dining table.

Pink Slice

There's nothing quite like escaping to the country for a few days and this converted stable barn is a million miles away from the stresses of day-to-day life. Bright, open and immaculate in every way, it's a place to relax, take a deep breath of fresh, country air and enjoy the company of your loved ones. Set on the owners' farm, and right next to their stables, you'll have a great view of the horses being fed each morning – something that's bound to excite the children. 

Anything but rustic, the interiors here are stylish and high-end, with wide-plank flooring and plenty of fabulous stripped back timber beams. The huge living space, surrounded on three sides by floor-to-ceiling windows, is the heart of the home, with squashy velvet sofas, a dining table for six and a delightful kitchen. Equipped with everything you could need, keen cooks will be in their element.

Set in the South Downs National Park, with views across the rolling hills, here you'll have your own private lawned garden area and you're welcome to explore the rest of the grounds. It's a twenty-minute walk into the pretty market town of Bishop's Waltham, with its shops and pubs, and don't miss a visit to the ruins of its historic abbey. And it's less than a half-hour drive to both Southampton and Portsmouth.

The Saddler's Rooms

Driving up to this home, you’ll no doubt feel as though you’re entering your own version of Downton Abbey or Bridgerton – and once you step inside, it only gets grander. Wooden panel walls, classic fireplaces, beautiful chandeliers, and four poster beds add to the stately comfort of this quintessentially English manor house. Spend the morning nursing a cup of tea with breakfast, before retiring to one of the many rooms to find the most comfortable sofa – of which there are many – so you can spend a few hours getting lost in a Jane Austen novel. Afterwards walk the beautifully manicured grounds, and if you happen to reenact some of the scenes from Pride & Prejudice, we promise not to tell.  

Family trips can be spent puzzling together, or getting all hands on deck in the kitchen to prepare a feast fit for lords and ladies, whilst luxury hen and stag parties might choose to celebrate a different way. Regardless of why you came, once you experience the peaceful reprieve the manor has to offer, you won't want to leave. 

Surrey Hills Manor

This Windsor homestay might only be fifteen minutes from the nearest train station, but convenience is far from the only thing this luxury property has to offer. Large windows flood the interior with natural light, highlighting soft textures and thoughtful accents that make you feel at home the second you step over the threshold. Go through to the gleaming open-plan kitchen, where you’ll find a gorgeous dining area and enough silverware to host even the most extravagant dinner party, or head straight upstairs and treat yourself to a glass of wine and a long soak in the freestanding bathtub. Whatever you do, don’t miss out on the opportunity to soak up some rare British sunshine out on the patio, where you’ll find a gorgeous rattan furniture arrangement, perfect for socialising with your fellow guests or – if you fancy some peace and quiet –⁠ unwinding on your own with a cup of coffee and a good book.  

When you’re ready to head out, stick to the cobbled streets of Windsor or make your way to London – just fifty minutes away by train – for a spot of sightseeing. For those who’d rather stay put, you’ll have a whole host of attractions at your fingertips, from Windsor Castle – which is just fifteen minutes away by foot – to Legoland, a fun day out for the whole family. 

Fond Memories

This home is a great option for groups looking for a centrally-located stay in Windsor. By day, you can enjoy all that the city has to offer on foot – Windsor Castle is a short walk away and you’ll find the river is within easy reach. Guests looking to explore further afield will also appreciate the private parking on the drive. Inside, the rooms are unfussy, bright and spacious, and the garden is a welcome addition for warm-weather gatherings.
