You’ll also have a little balcony – perfect for a morning coffee or evening drinks. From here, it’s a short walk to Walthamstow Marshes and the nearest amenities in Clapton. It’s also just a short walk to the nearest bus stop – making it easy to explore further airfield.

Placed just around the corner from Dalston’s vibey cafes, stores and underground station, it’s no surprise that guests rave about this apartment’s location. Set in a period townhouse, this first-floor apartment’s good-looking interiors speak for themselves. Although the second bedroom with a Murphy pull-down bed is very compact, we think you'll forgive that when you see the all-too-rare private garden waiting outside. Add to that free weekend and evening parking (practically gold dust in London), and you’re onto a winner.

When you're sitting out in the idyllic garden, decorated in tropical plants and colourful flowers, you won't believe the beautiful space is reserved just for you. It's a dreamy setting that belies the home's central location. 

Wander inside from the garden and the unbridled sense of style continues. Undoubtedly chic and brimming with vibrant colour, the interior exudes an elegant charisma in every room. Plants breathe energy into the living space and and the high quality fittings provide modern comfort.

As beautiful as this home is, you didn't come to London to stay inside. Luckily, you're perfectly placed to explore the entirety of this sprawling metropolis. The Eastern Gardens

Cross the gangplank onto this incredible floating home near the Thames. Moored just a couple of blocks from Tower Bridge, this former 1930s steel barge is a ten-minute walk from the Tower of London. The top deck has been converted into a long, open living space with views of St Katharine Docks Marina from the huge windows. We love the semi-outdoor dining room, housed in a glass atrium-style space to the rear of the ship, with seating for ten. Choose to relax in the stylish white lounge on the upper deck, or head downstairs to the snug with its u-shaped sofa around a striking suspended fireplace. Bedrooms are on the lower deck, but that doesn’t mean dark cabins with tiny portholes. Spacious rooms have walls of windows and if there are portholes, they’re the size of a bass drum, letting in tonnes of natural light. If you manage to bag the master bedroom, its en-suite comes with a sauna. Welcome aboard, matey!

All Afloat

Nestled between the open green spaces of London Fields and Victoria Park, the enviable address of this home is just one of the features that makes it special. 

Sitting on the top floor, this architect-designed space has been thoughtfully curated to bring ease and harmony to your city stay. And as soon as you step inside, you’ll want to pause and savour the unique presence of this flat. From the exposed beams and brick to the natural tones and textures, every detail inspires a wonderful sense of balance – it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind whilst enjoying the vibrant east London scene. 

Bathed in natural light, the open-plan living area makes a dreamy spot for a quiet morning coffee before the day begins, while the rustic dining table is perfectly poised for sharing beautiful meals. And with such an incredible range of dining options on your doorstep, there’s everything you could need to enjoy the magic of city living. 

True Character 

The East London location might not be for everyone but this super cool loft has heaps of character and a young couple will enjoy the hipster nightlife nearby. We love the industrial style of the decor that still manages to feel homey and the large wooden doors at the gate that nod to the building's past as a stable block.

Lights Camera Action

This Hackney hideaway is full of surprises. Whether you're soaking in the copper bathtub, relaxing in the infrared sauna, or enjoying a drink on the wrap-around terrace, we reckon you'll feel right at home here. Each room is colourful, bright, and ultra-comfortable – though two guests will sleep on a small sofa bed. Central London is within easy reach, thanks to the nearby Overground station, but Hackney itself is full of trendy eateries, cool bars, and independent shops. Many are just a short walk away – make sure to ask your delightful host, Jane, about all her favourite spots. 

House of Clapton

This is a soulful space for those after a more alternative place to stay when they're visiting the UK's capital. Part of a converted former piano factory, the interior is instantly uplifting thanks to the array of bold modern artwork, statement wallpaper and house plants dotted about. You can tell it's been put together by somebody with an artistic disposition. It's up on the second floor with views from the Juliet balconies over the rooftops of Stoke Newington, a quiet neighbourhood with a great village vibe. If you want to explore, the host has left their Dutch bike and guests are free to borrow it. Alternatively, you can rent her car, which is parked in the on-site car park. Clissold Park is only two minutes' walk up the road and is home to a small deer farm. Likewise, Church Street takes only six minutes to reach on foot and offers cosy restaurants, traditional boozers and vintage shops.



The Milner

Tucked away in Lower Clapton, this contemporary apartment brings ease to city living. Offering a private balcony and plenty of space to chill out and socialise, this is a great spot for families and small groups. The main bedroom also has an en-suite bedroom – perfect for those seeking a little extra privacy. It’s worth noting there is no free parking available here, but you will find it’s just a short walk to Rectory Road Overground Station. From here, it’s just a fifteen-minute train ride into Shoreditch, while King’s Cross is just twenty-minutes away.

It’s just a short walk from the British Library, King’s Cross, and a whole host of eateries, making it a convenient home-from-home.
