This two-bedroom penthouse offers stunning views of Athens. Landmarks like the Acropolis, Mount Lycabettus, and the Temple of Olympian Zeus are visible from the private balcony, which has space to sit out with a drink and enjoy wonderful sunset views. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms separated by glass walls, so you'll find privacy somewhat limited. But the main bedroom suite boasts a private living room and a marble Jacuzzi tub. As this home is in a hotel building there are plenty of amenities and extra services, from a private chef to a communal gym and roof garden.

This apartment lies in central Athens and is an excellent base for professionals and couples, with a Juliet balcony and a fantastic location. Public transport is right on your doorstep, giving you access to shops and restaurants. To top it all off, historical hotspots including the iconic Acropolis and Hadrian's Arch are within easy walking distance. Inside, the kitchen is well-equipped for culinary experimentation and the dining table can easily double as a space for remote working, and the sofa bed adds flexibility to the sleeping arrangements.

Aqua Dreamscape

Begin your holiday in style and get collected in a luxury car at the airport before being driven to this apartment in a building in the ‘artists’ neighbourhood of Athens. Located close to many great landmarks, and with uninterrupted views over the Acropolis and city skyline, this home offers a truly amazing experience.

Why not start your mornings here with a refreshing iced Greek frappe on your private balcony, as you admire the fantastic panorama that takes in the Lycabettus hills and, of course, the Acropolis perched high above the city? Then, head out and explore the historic landmarks including the Temple of Olympian Zeus – a fifteen-minute walk away, and the Acropolis – reachable in twenty-four minutes on foot. 

In the evening, take advantage of the shared rooftop terrace with its lounge sitting area and large dining table to relax and chat about your day, dine alfresco, or simply enjoy the magnificent sunset views which cover a 360-degree vista of the city, including a glimpse of the ocean. We would then love to end our days with an Ouzo cocktail on our private balcony admiring the sight of the Acropolis light up at night. 

Eyes on the Acropolis

Seize the opportunity to stay in the historical heart of Athens with this studio apartment in the Psyrri neighbourhood. Monastiraki Flea Market is just a short stroll away, and the area is full of bistros, bars and restaurants, which is handy as this home only has a kitchenette (it’s well equipped, though). The apartment sleeps three (one guest will be on a sofa bed). We love the stylish bathroom here and the light that floods in through the large window. Overall, we’d say this place is ideal if you want to immerse yourself in Athenian life.

Athenian Suite Dreams

Located in Athens’ stylish Kolonaki neighbourhood, this comfortable studio-style apartment is an ideal base for couples or solo travellers looking to explore the city from a calm yet central spot. Ideal for those visiting on business too, you’ll find a dedicated desk space in the sage green bedroom, as well as a little Juliet balcony – perfect for perching with your morning cup of Greek coffee as you map out the day’s activities. Take the funicular up Lycabettus Hill for jaw-dropping views over the entire city, spend an afternoon at the Benaki Museum or hop on the Metro to visit the famous Acropolis. 

After a day of touring the city, come back for a light bite at home courtesy of your kitchenette or set out to explore the many restaurants and bars on your doorstep before returning home for a restful night’s sleep. 


Demeter's Dream

Housed in a neoclassical building, just a five-minute walk from Monastiraki Square and fifteen minutes from the Acropolis, this studio apartment is the perfect place to crash after busy days spent ticking off Athens’ most famous hotspots. There’s a desk for remote workers and a kitchenette for rustling up light bites. Those staying as a group of four should note that two guests will be on the sofa bed. Elsewhere on the premises, you’ll find a communal roof terrace with views of the city. 


Athens Grace

City-break lovers, this one’s for you. You couldn’t ask for a more central location than this sixth-floor apartment right next to Syntagma Square, on one of Athens’ most affluent pedestrian streets. There’s a great city view from the balcony, and while the sofa bed two guests will be sleeping on might not be suitable for long stays, it’s a comfortable and roomy home for such a great setting. Most importantly, you’re within easy walking distance of all of Athens’ top attractions. 

Eclectic Athens

If this view doesn’t say Athens, then we don’t know what else will. From its high and mighty perch, the city’s most iconic landmarks are all on show – from the Archaeological Museum and the Lycabettus Hill, to the mighty Acropolis. It’s a panorama as sensational by day when the sun beats down on the city's Pentelic marble, as it is by night when Athen’s lights begin to twinkle.

Stepping inside, this oh-so-swish crib keeps bringing the wow factor – starting with that private gym, Turkish steam bath, and the free-flowing living area made for socialising. Lay the table for glamorous dinner parties (the nifty pool table converts into a dining table). Then keep the night flowing with a game of pool and cocktails at the bar to soak up the vistas.

When it’s time to dive into the warren of historic streets below, blaze a trail to Monastiraki (within walking distance of the apartment) – there are shady street cafes, vibey bars and authentic Greek tavernas just waiting to uncover. Or, if you’d rather escape the crowds, keep things local with an amble around the city’s largest park,  Pedion Areos, with panoramic views of the city – it’s just a five-minute hop, skip and jump away.

This home, set in a stunning 18th-century neoclassical building dating from 1838, has an excellent location. You can stroll over to many of the city's iconic landmarks, such as the Syntagma and Monastiraki, the Acropolis and Plaka. There are an array of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby, too, which is convenient as this home only has a kitchenette. We love the small balcony, which is perfect for candlelit suppers. There's also a communal roof terrace with views over the Acropolis. This place makes a great Athens bolthole.

The Athenian Anthem

In a neighbourhood that oozes old-school Athens charm, this flat is close to everything this culture-rich city has to offer. You'll be just fifteen minutes on foot from the Acropolis, Philopappos Hill and the National Garden, so if sightseeing is on your to-do list, you couldn't ask for a finer spot to call home. Better still are the Greek tavernas, bakeries and bars that dot this section of the city. On those nights you don't fancy cooking, swing by one of those eateries and enjoy a night on the town – there'll never be a dull moment here.

When you're not out exploring your surroundings, come home to this trendy little flat and unwind in style. Plop down on the sofa after a hike up the Acropolis – with Netflix playing and the air conditioning blasting, you'll feel relaxed in no time. We can't help but swoon over the chic, contemporary design – we particularly like the more natural elements, such as bamboo fixtures, exposed wooden beams and the leafy green plants. But the real gem is the sunny balcony overlooking the street below. It's the picture of an Athens getaway – we can already imagine ourselves sipping wine, nibbling on olives and watching the sun go down.

Part of a recently renovated old building, brought back to life by renowned architect Nasos Dellis, this stylish apartment includes a living area, kitchen, and elegant bedroom. Within the building, there are several similar apartments, some of which have access to a lovely private hot tub that enjoys fabulous views over the city of Athens. There is also an inviting roof garden, from where you can gaze out over the iconic Acropolis. Here, you will find yourself ideally placed for exploring this historic city, with many of its highlights within walking distance, not to mention the selection of great restaurants and bars. 

Secret Grotto

Watch Athen’s street life unfold from the sunny balcony of this stylish apartment set in the well-heeled and oh-so-central Kolonaki district. Famed for its shopping, drinking, and clubbing destinations, this neighbourhood buzzes with happening cafes and restaurants. Follow the hipsters down at the historic Kolonaki Square for much coffee sipping and people-watching. Then shop till you drop in high-end independent boutiques nearby. Or, for something more cultural, call in on the Natural History Museum or Benaki Museum for a hefty dose of Greek and Byzantine art.

Back home, interiors are as chic as they come, with blue accents adding warm pops of colour and glorious parquet wooden flooring unifying the space. Well suited to friends or couples sharing, bedrooms are spaced apart to give everyone that little extra privacy and there's two seperate shower rooms, so you can be up and at' em in no time here. While over in the open-concept living area, there's plenty of room to get together. Spill out around the table for lazy breakfasts of flaky bougatsa’s and freshly brewed coffees with the balcony doors open wide to let the sunshine in.
