This place is ideal for a family or group of friends as there are two lounge areas and six bathrooms. We have to say, the location is as impressive as the house itself. You are located in perhaps the best spot in the city. It’s situated in Filopappou, a short walk from the Acropolis, the Parthenon and the Temple of Athena Nike, among many other iconic landmarks. This home and its prime address will allow you to create some special memories.

Ambrosia Abode

Nestled in the heart of Athens, within striking distance of the Acropolis, this modern home is a great base for those looking to experience all the Greek capital has to offer. Whether you’re travelling for business or pleasure, you’ll love coming home to this stunning city apartment, where you’ll find all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. 

We love the feel of the interior here – think warm tones and uncluttered rooms – but it’s the outside space that really caught our eye. Boasting not one, but two private terraces, this is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. Pour yourself an evening aperitivo to sip as the sun goes down or rustle up your best home-cooked moussaka and dine al fresco under the stars. We don’t know about you, but that sounds pretty magical to us. 

Above the Olive Trees

Just take a look at the Acropolis views from this apartment's balcony and you'll see why it caught our attention. There are also vistas from inside, and there's access to the balcony from one of the bedrooms – name a better way to wake up each morning. The kitchen is galley style, relatively compact and somewhat dated, but it has everything you need. And, of course, you'll be located in the heart of Athens in one of the most upmarket districts of the capital and just steps away from restaurants. You'll also find nearby boutiques, museums and a metro station easily accessible on foot.

You'll find this charming boutique villa in the lively Koukaki neighbourhood of Athens. Cafes and bars are all nearby, but it's the proximity to sights like the Acropolis that really makes it special. See all the best bits and return home to a minimalist and stylish apartment. Even though three guests will be sleeping in the living spaces, they’re strategically placed to give everyone space and privacy. With impressive views of Athens’ Acropolis from this penthouse rooftop, you’ll want to spend mornings admiring the architectural remains with coffee and nights under the stars watching the moon illuminate the ancient citadel. And since it’s only a short walk away, prepare to climb the steps and discover the remains of the high city, Parthenon temple and ancient citadel that dates back to the fourth millennium BC.

We love the modern designs and clean finishes here – from the crisp palette of cool greys and whites to the thoughtful choice of contemporary furnishings. We particularly love the statement pendant light that creates a uniquely inviting ambience above the sleek kitchen, where we imagine you’ll throw together an array of Greek dishes after a day exploring the cobblestoned streets of Plaka. Though with a barbecue on your rooftop, you might want to grill up some seafood and dine under the constellations.

But when you're inside the apartment you wouldn't think you're in central Athens, with street noise being completely cut off from this third-floor home. So for the days when you want to relax in the lounge and enjoy the natural light flooding in from the oversized windows, you'll be pleased to know you'll have your own sanctuary in the heart of the city. But the real gem of this home is the private balcony, which feels like a slice of Middle Eastern paradise in Southern Europe. Whether you want to read a book and enjoy the Greek sunshine, or marvel at the lights of Acropolis and the Parthenon from your balcony at night, we guarantee you'll be spending a lot of time here.

Promising views of the nearby Acropolis from the communal roof terrace, this Athenian apartment also boasts a little balcony of its own, so you can enjoy some one-on-one time. The 19th-century home of a famous Greek general, this apartment has a surprisingly romantic aesthetic with a four-poster bed and vintage accents. While the kitchenette is only really suitable for preparing light bites, wouldn't you prefer to dine out anyway? With Monastiraki Square sitting minutes away and several museums within strolling distance, all the wonders of the city await. 

Citadel Scenery

You couldn’t be better placed to explore the cultural and historic delights of Athens than this bright, modern apartment located in the city’s Koukaki neighbourhood. Dazzling white walls adorned with art prints, wood floors and contemporary decor combine to create a welcoming impression in the open-plan living area. Ample natural light pours in through the glass doors that lead out onto a balcony. Start mornings here with a fresh cup of Greek coffee or enjoy a glass of ouzo as you people-watch from above before setting out to sample one of the local restaurants for dinner. When you’re ready to venture out for some sightseeing, you’ll find plenty to see and do within easy reach. Visit the Acropolis Museum and the Acropolis of Athens, make a beeline for the Philopappos Monument and spend a few hours admiring the works on display at the National Museum of Contemporary Art. With Plaka a ten-minute walk away too, not to mention the Metro station just a couple of minutes on foot from your door, the Greek capital’s your oyster from this central base. 


Leucothea

Wow, wow, wow was all we could say when we saw the incredible views of the Acropolis from both this home's living space and terrace. They are fantastic any time of day, but we particularly love the vistas at sunset and then as dark approaches when Greece's most famous monument is all lit up. It’s a divine spot for a glass of wine.

If the weather turns chilly, head inside and gather around the fire or whip up a Greek meze in the modern kitchen. We could tell when we visited that this home has undergone a thoughtful renovation by your hosts.

Located in Plaka, there are plenty of tavernas, bars and shops nearby to enjoy. Or visit the Acropolis Museum, around a fifteen-minute walk away.



Acropolis Metropolis

The Psyrri neighbourhood of Athens is full of cute boutiques, quirky characters, and bustling bars. In its maze-like layout, where tiny cobbled streets intermingle with kerbside restaurants and wine spots, you’ll eventually end up at the market of Monastiraki Square. And just a short walk from this ancient square with a 10th-century church at its centre, history evolves into modernity as you arrive at your apartment. 

Fully renovated in 2018, this home offers penthouse-style, luxury living. In contrast to the colourful locale, trendy grey tones are the colour of choice inside. Then glass, matte black, and charcoal-coloured wooden floors create a muted, monochrome colour palette that allows for the main feature to stand out – the view. Step out from this modern, open-plan living space to your private terrace, where a stylish dining area and outdoor hot tub await. 

Serve up olives, bread, and Greek wine on the table before slipping into the bubbling waters with a glass of champagne in hand. The city twinkles for miles ahead of you, and the brightly-lit Acropolis of Athens stands out in this incredible, panoramic scene right on your doorstep.

The Grey Glamour

Sitting at the foot of the Acropolis, the neighbourhood of Plaka is brimming with the cultural depth and warmth of Athens. 

Wander along the cobblestone streets and you’ll find this apartment located in a Neoclassical building dating back to the 1930s. And while the exterior sings with tradition, the interior provides all the comfort of a contemporary sanctuary. 

From the minimalist furnishings and open plan design to the snug bedrooms and little balcony, there’s everything you could need for a restorative stay in the city. Watch the sunrise with a coffee on the shared terrace, take a long soak in the bath and gather for delicious Greek meals around the table. Wherever you are in this home, it’s the kind of space that brings ease and comfort to city living. 

Days can be spent strolling the central streets, admiring the architecture as you wind your way towards the Acropolis (just seven minutes away). Soak up the atmosphere from a nearby taverna, browse tiny shops filled with handcrafted ceramics and savour the magic of live music as the sun sets across this special neighbourhood. 

Art & Muse

City-break lovers, this one’s for you. You couldn’t ask for a more central location than this sixth-floor apartment right next to Syntagma Square, on one of Athens’ most affluent pedestrian streets. There’s a great city view from the balcony, and while the sofa bed two guests will be sleeping on might not be suitable for long stays, it’s a comfortable and roomy home for such a great setting. Most importantly, you’re within easy walking distance of all of Athens’ top attractions.
