At the foothills of Mount Pantokrator, we think this villa's highlight is its dining terrace with Ionian Sea views. Not only will you find Nissaki Beach a stroll from here, but Greek tavernas and restaurants are less than 1.5 kilometres away – we recommend car hire for exploration. While the traditional interior might not appeal to everyone, the olive tree-lined pool is a lovely spot to laze. Plus the available excursions and baby travel equipment make it a nice pick for families.

Circles of Light

Perched on a picturesque hillside surrounded by olive trees in northern Corfu, this villa has a gorgeous view of the Ionian Sea and the island's coastal villages in the distance. 

Thankfully, there's no shortage of ways to admire this landscape, whether you're seated on one of the bedroom's balconies, enjoying a dinner cooked on the barbecue underneath the pergola, or even paddling about in the swimming pool. Thanks to the tables out on the terrace, you can even drink in the scenery while playing a spot of ping-pong or pool.

Inside, the home is gloriously bright as a result of the generous amount of floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors. The stark white walls and sleek surfaces work to accentuate this natural light, while welcome bursts of colour come from the furnishings and artwork. We're glad to see a fireplace in the living room, which will be the perfect setting once the sun goes down.

If you fancy a day at the seaside at any point, Barbati Beach only takes fifteen minutes or so to reach in the car. Nymfes Waterfall sits twenty-five minutes' drive in the other direction, as well.


Summer Sojourn

Enjoy the blissful calm of this home's waterfront location in Kassiopi, with awe-inspiring views across the bay, its turquoise waters and luscious greenery in abundance. The split-level design presents private terraces on every villa level overlooking the harbour and beautiful coastline. You'll have the choice between slowly waking up each morning from your own private suite in solitude or with the rest of your group on the main terrace. Just picture yourself with a cup of coffee and your favourite breakfast foods. Heaven. 

Located in such a gorgeous setting, you'll likely spend most of your time outside on the terrace here. Whether that's from the private swimming pool, sun loungers or charming al fresco dining area  – prepare to be sent into a meditative state as you immerse yourself in the surrounding natural beauty out here. The freshwater swimming pool is also complete with its own Jacuzzi – offering the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset as it paints the sky in hues of pink and orange over the bay. 

You'll be just a few steps down the road to a secluded rocky beach – the villa might not privately own it, but being tucked away, it doesn’t get busy. You can even hire boats nearby and anchor them here when you're ready for a lazy lunch on one of the terraces. Kerasia Beach is also about a twenty-minute walk away, with its seaside resort town bragging lots of traditional Greek taverns, lively bars, shops and supermarkets. 






Calm of Kassiopi  

For a coastal escape on the idyllic island of Corfu, look no further than this chic, minimalist villa. Set on a small spit of land close to Kontakali, this stunning retreat offers beach access and jaw-dropping views over the island.

The home's upside-down layout makes the most of its beachfront location, ensuring you can socialise in the first-floor spaces with uninterrupted views rolling out before you. In addition to the open layout of the kitchen and living room, vast sliding doors reveal a scenic outdoor dining area that sits on a wrap-around balcony.

Head downstairs and discover three en-suite bedrooms decorated in soothing earth tones to help you effortlessly drift off after a day in the sun. Each enjoys direct access to the lush gardens and poolside patio, where we imagine you'll spend most of your time lounging in the sun, enjoying refreshing dips in the water and relishing those awe-inspiring vistas.

If you fancy a change of scenery, the family-friendly waters of Kontakali Beach are little more than 100m away. Elsewhere, the picturesque Daphnila, Dassia, and Glyfada beaches offer still seas and breathtaking natural beauty within a half-hour drive of your front door.

Corfu Calling

High above the Ionian Sea, so you can soak up the Mediterranean sunshine from the comfort of your lounger while watching the waves lapping the shore, this villa is both beautifully appointed and architecturally brilliant. Walk down the private path onto the beach below and stretch out on the soft sands or paddle in the crystalline shallows. Pick out your reserved sun loungers and umbrellas for a stress-free day by the sea. The ability to glide seamlessly from the beach to your villa means that everyone's preferences are catered for at this crowd-pleasing pad. 

Days begin outside, with a freshly brewed cup of Greek coffee on the decked terrace, listening to the calm sounds of the sea while being gloriously sunken into the wild foliage and sprawling olive trees. After a gentle start, lie back and relax on a lounger with a good book or swim a few leisurely lengths in the infinity pool. When lunchtime beckons, grill some locally sourced meat and fish on the barbecue and feast together in the alfresco dining area. 

When the midday heat picks up outside, you'll find an impressive open-plan space with patio doors and a mezzanine level above to unwind in. It's light and airy throughout the day, while you'll immediately notice the high-end touch that's been added to this bright space – from the chocolate-brown sofa in the living room to the Eames-style chairs in the dining area – this villa will have you relaxing in style. 

When you're not soaking up the plush atmosphere of your home, head out and explore and in addition to the nearby beaches, the charming villages of Tsavrou, Gouvia and Dasia are twenty minutes away on foot.  

Speckled Shores

Bright and spacious with views of the Ionian Sea, you’ll find peace and relaxation in spades at this Greek villa. Spend sunshine days admiring the watery horizon as you take advantage of the stretching terrace. Slip out of the crystalline pool and onto the sun lounger when you’re working on your tan, or read your book sprawled out on the garden furniture. Dine al fresco in the shade of the gazebo, and when you need a second to yourself, find seclusion on the glass-eclosed balcony. 

We can see how you might find it difficult to leave the fresh ocean breeze and sunshine behind but allow the outdoors to follow you inside by opening the sliding doors and large windows. Tuck yourself away on the sofa as you sip coffee whilst reading about Achilles or Athena, and when you’re ready to explore, find Krouzeri Beach only minutes away. Visit the Blue Caves nearby and swing by one of the local restaurants for lunch.

Keys to Nissaki

You'll find many a Corfu home with views of the Ionian Sea and plenty more that look out to Mount Pantokrator, but rarely will you see one with a panorama that manages to combine both of these natural elements in such picturesque fashion.

Perched just above the village of Barbati, this villa has been blessed when it comes to the surrounding landscape and it really makes the most of it. You can appreciate this peaceful scenery while swimming in the infinity pool, dining out on the terrace or relaxing on the bedroom's balcony before you turn in for the night.

The stone home is quietly impressive when you step in through its doors, with its sleek kitchen island, luxurious bathrooms and splashes of colour coming from the collection of vibrant artwork.

When you need to stock up, Barbati's bakery, shops and markets take about fifteen minutes to reach on foot and even has its own beach in case you needed added incentive to make a visit. In the other direction, Nymfes Waterfall is a thirty-five-minute drive away.

Nectar of the Gods

Wrapped in olive groves yet just a fifteen-minute stroll away from the village of Agios Stefanos, this home offers seclusion and access to a host of amenities in equal measure. If you fancy a day on the beach, that’s within walking distance, too. Just bear in mind – you’ll need to climb the hill to get back to the villa, so you may prefer to drive. Still, on returning home you can hop into the pool to cool off, or better yet, pour a glass of wine, relax in the hot tub, and watch the sunset over the sea. 

Serenade Retreat

From bedroom to beachfront in just a few steps, this villa on Corfu’s northeast coast ticks all the boxes for a sun-soaked summer holiday. The interiors are bright and boho-chic – expect whitewashed walls, bleached vaulted ceilings and royal blue accents. Mornings begin on the terrace – tuck into thick Greek yoghurt with dollops of local honey before finding a spot in the shade to finish the last of your coffee. Splash about with your loved ones in the private swimming pool, surrounded by the scent of heady Mediterranean fauna, or get lost in a good book by the jetty.

If you’re keen to explore a little, drive into the heart of Kassiopi village and stroll around the harbour or embrace the hustle and bustle of Corfu Town, around 35 kilometres away. The turquoise waters of Kerasia beach are just two kilometres away, as is the pebble shoreline of Avlaki Beach. You'll also find the fishing village of San Stefanos is close by and if you fancy a little more action then Kassiopi, with its shops and nightlife, is under five kilometres away.

Spend afternoons flitting between snorkelling in the crystal clear Ionian and topping up your tan on loungers in the glorious sunshine. But if you fancy a change of scenery, take the twenty-five-minute drive to Corfu Town – its elegant Venetian architecture and picturesque harbour make for an idyllic backdrop to a burning sunset.
