Stay in this renovated home, and you’ll be in the heart of the beautiful old Venetian town of Chania. We love the 360-degree views of the old town, the iconic lighthouse and the sea from the large rooftop terrace – it’s a rarity for this type of house and a wonderful spot for a glass of wine at sunset.

Inside, the bright living room, with its stone arch and beamed ceiling, is very atmospheric. Take a seat on the sculpted wood sofa here, choose a book from the shelves, and relax.

There’s a fabulous farmers’ market every Saturday in the neighbourhood, while bars and restaurants are all within walking distance of this home. If you fancy a day on the beach, the nearest is a ten-minute stroll away.


Venetian Owl

We can’t imagine there’s much on your holiday wishlist that this contemporary villa doesn’t tick off. Fancy glistening sea views and access to a private beach? This home has you covered. How about a private gym and water sports equipment to get out on the deep blue sea? You’ll find that here, too. Sun seekers can also enjoy the generous terraces and private pool, hanging over the sea below. The basement bedroom even boasts a private kitchen, affording two guests extra privacy – which makes up for the lack of natural light, we think, and all adds to an unforgettable stay. 

Serenity & Sunlight

From the near-constant cloudless sky to the crystalline Aegean Sea and the shimmering private swimming pool – this place is an ode to the colour blue. Three kilometres away, you’ll find the calm shallows of the nearest sandy beach and the charming town of Chania is a short drive along the coast. Right on your doorstep (within 200 metres), you’ve got cafés, bakeries, tavernas and a mini market to stock up on supplies.

If you’re not cooling off from the Crete sun in the swimming pool, our favourite spot is the table and chairs on the covered veranda, facing a panorama of Crete’s stunning coastline. This is a great spot to dine of an evening. Inside, the home is split between two apartments, each with its own kitchen and living room. On the first floor, the living room is a grand space with marble floor, candelabra and velvety tufted sofas. Two full kitchens across the whole home mean it’s easy to cater for huge group meals and two living rooms give everyone enough space to spread out. The peace and quiet are blissful in bedrooms and each room has its own access to the terrace or a first-floor balcony. 

Lapis on Lapis

Located in Almyrida, this villa is just 500 metres from a long stretch of sandy beach. Whilst the fishing village is quiet, its offers an array of cafes, shops and restaurants, all within walking distance. Featuring two private pools, one of which is designed especially for kids, you can rest assured that the little ones will always be kept entertained. The garden is particularly impressive thanks to a hot tub, lush lawn and Jacuzzi, but the inside of the home has its fair share of little luxuries, too. We love the basement here, where you’ll find a plush home cinema and a pool table. 

Sweet Sea

Within walking distance of Gouves beach and a short drive from Heraklion, this villa's location and facilities make it shine. The large garden is equipped with a barbecue area and private pool, and the downstairs game room with billiards is great for families. There are no bedrooms on the ground floor here, so guests with limited mobility may be better off looking elsewhere. But with a kitchenette as well as the main kitchen and more bed space than guest space, there's plenty of room for everyone.

Serenity on the Island

Perched only a kilometre away from the nearest beach and within walking distance of the local cafes and traditional taverns – this charming Cretan villa sets the scene for a serene holiday in the sunshine. On an expansive plot surrounded by olive trees, lawn areas, and a big variety of fruit trees, vegetables, and herb plants (which you're free to pick and cook with) – the Mediterranean setting here is what dreams are made of. 

Kick back, relax and disconnect from the rest of the world amidst a haven of peace. Whether that means you're lounging on the floating day beds in the private swimming pool, getting stuck into your holiday read in a shaded spot on the patio area, terrace or balcony – or perhaps you'll prefer to spend your time soaking up the villa's fabulous interiors. With contemporary chic designs found in each and every room, letting your cares and worries float free when staying here. The only constraint you'll encounter will be when it's time to leave. 





Float n' Fly 

This stunning home is a contemporary beachside haven. Awash in white, the pop of admiral blue reflects the beauty of the Greek coast which sits happily within easy reach of your home. 

While the interiors are of a minimalist design, this villa is far from it. After a workout in your private gym, slide off those trainers and walk across your beautiful wooden decking for a refreshing dip in the pool. You can even calm your heart rate while sipping chilled water in the picturesque garden nook, surrounded by serene greenery, if you prefer. Venture inside when you need a little respite from the sun and you’re met with a chic space, so grab a bottle of wine from the cooler, pop your feet up on the velour chaise sofa and enjoy the company of your loved ones.

As evening calls, you’re guaranteed to enjoy a restful night's sleep in whichever of the tastefully decorated bedrooms you choose. The following morning, sunlight will pour in from the floor-to-ceiling windows, just in time for you to pop on a pot of coffee. Rustle up a delicious breakfast spread, alfresco if you want to enjoy some more vitamin C, and soak up the tranquil atmosphere before heading out for a day exploring the local area. 

The Contemporary Admiral

Sometimes on holiday, you don’t want to have to plan or follow an itinerary – you just want to chill out and have everything you need to hand. This is the perfect place for that. This gorgeous villa in Crete has everything you could wish for, and some things you’ve probably not yet thought of. 

The villa is built from stone and decorated in a traditional style. Best of all, it’s in a huge plot of land with no neighbours – it’s an absolute haven of peace, quiet and relaxation. When you wake up in the morning your toughest decision will be which balcony to drink your coffee on, or possibly whether to sunbathe on a sun lounger or in a hammock. Will the children tire themselves out in the wheelchair-accessible heated pool, the playground, or playing football on the mini footy field? 

A lovely traditional stone kitchen makes cooking a breeze, but you might like to arrange for a private chef to cook for you anyway. Enjoy beautifully prepared Cretan dishes outside at the covered dining table – gluten-free meals can be provided on request. There’s also a fabulous barbecue area, so your chef could whip up a grilled feast while you and your guests sip cocktails on the terrace and admire the colourful sunsets. 

You have everything you need right at your fingertips here, but if you do fancy exploring Crete, you’re in a great location for it. Almyrida beach is just ten minutes away by car, while the attractive old town of Chania is thirty-seven minutes away. Meander along the winding streets with an ice cream, or find an alfresco table at a charming taverna by the port. When you return to the villa, settle into the Jacuzzi for a soak and see which constellations you can spot in the twinkling night sky. 


The Lotus Flower

Imagine sipping a glass of cold Vidiano under the shade of a carob tree, surrounded by luscious fauna – that’s exactly what you can expect from a stay at this stone villa in Plaka. The villa itself is traditional, and you can see this in the interiors, too – those seeking authentic charm over modernity will appreciate the original features. The garden is definitely a highlight, with open spaces to share Greek dinners and secluded spots under the shade for downtime with your book. When you’re ready to venture out, you’ll find Plaka beach, waterfront restaurants and local shops within 900m of the home.

Aegean Ode

Gather all your favourite people for a stay at this palatial estate housing two identical villas within nearly two acres of private Cretan landscapes. Both villas offer gold-standard amenities, with a lengthy outdoor swimming pool to soak up the panoramic views of the sea and the Psiloritis mountains and a professional tennis court at the heart of the grounds. And don’t get us started on the crisp, minimalist interiors and unique collection of paintings by award-winning artist Kostas Tsolis. Location-wise, you’re just fifteen minutes from the airport and Heraklion city, and Ammoudara Beach is even closer. 

The Garden of the Gods

Just 700 metres from the Blue Flag-awarded Platanias Beach, this family-orientated villa sits on a small complex within walking distance of Cretan eateries and shops. For hangouts at home, a private plunge pool and a barbecue await, though you may spot a neighbour or two at the communal children's play area, car park, and shared laundry facilities. Fancy indulging in the extra services available? Hire a professional chef to cook dinner one evening or arrange a boat cruise to Agioi Theodoroi.

Whether you’re admiring the blue vistas from the private pool in the afternoon or over an alfresco barbecue at sunset, you’ll find it hard to tear your eyes away from the stunning scenery. The on-site playground and three en-suite bedrooms over its two floors make it perfect for families, offering groups plenty of room, entertainment and fun at home. But should you wish to go out and explore, you need only make a beeline for nearby Agia Pelagia with its beach, bay and plethora of shops and restaurants.
