A short drive away from Kallithea sits the tiny village of Afytos. More laid-back than other towns in Halkidiki, it's a great spot for a low-key getaway – and it's where you'll find this pet-friendly apartment. Perched on the cliffs overlooking the sea, the private terrace is ideal for soaking up the sunshine and scenery. It's part of a resort, so you'll also have access to a communal swimming pool (open seasonally) and the small bay at the base of the (very steep) hill. The interiors are a little lacklustre and veer towards dated, but the location speaks for itself. Your host is also happy to arrange excursions, boat trips and other fun-filled activities for a fee.

Edge of the Sea

If you’re looking for the perfect place to spend an unforgettable holiday with your friends or family – this large villa in Halkidiki ticks all the boxes. This stunning property comes with some amazing amenities, such as an infinity pool, observation deck and outdoor speakers to have a boogie in the garden. It even has its own private beach, complete with sun loungers and shades. You can stock up on Greek delicacies in the village for a barbecue night, or you can let a private chef cook up a storm for you. 

Hera's Hideaway

With views of Mount Athos and Diaporos, this beautiful home is the total package for anyone looking to make the most of their time away. For some that might be exploring all Halkidiki has to offer – sunbathe on azure beaches, eat at local tavernas and visit archaeological sites like Stageira, Aristotle’s birthplace, and Olynthus. 

Others might like their holiday to take a more relaxing shape, and the villa can certainly accommodate. Spend your time in and around the pool when you’re not catching afternoon naps on the beachfront sun bed. Walk in the soft sand and splash in the surf when the sun is at its peak before enjoying a meze platter al fresco on the terrace. 

Spend mornings on the private tennis courts or in the gym before a quick trip to the sauna. Stargaze after sunset as you recap the day’s adventures in good company and grab another beer before ending the evening with a few friendly rounds of pool.

Paradise at the End of the Lane

This glorious holiday home is a masterpiece of stone and glass. Traditional-style stonework allows the villa to blend seamlessly into the natural beauty of its surroundings, while vast glass windows bring the outside in. Light pours into this modern soalr-powered home, as do views of the striking outside area. 

A magnificent pool is the focal point outside. With its adjoining hot tub and sun loungers poised on the water’s edge, it’s a fine place to spend your holiday. Swim laps or lie in the sun with a toe dipped in the cool water – it’s your holiday after all. In the evening, the pool is lit up. We recommend slipping into the hot tub as the sun starts to set – it’s a dreamy way to end a day. 

The turquoise sea is just beyond the garden, with a beach two minutes away. This means you’re well situated for beach bars and restaurants, and also for water sports. Pefkochori is just a fifteen-minute walk from the villa, but offers something for everyone, be it snorkelling, shopping or sipping a chilled glass of wine.


Solar Stone

A stone's throw from the sea, this villa has an independent apartment on the ground floor and step access to the rest of the home. Part of a complex of maisonettes, you won't have perfect privacy and you may hear some noise from neighbours during your stay. But there are plenty of spots to relax both indoors and out with the private pool and space for alfresco dining. While you'll be right by the sea, you'll have to drive a short way up the road to the nearest sandy beach, which is the gorgeous Nea Skioni beach.

White Horizon

Separated into two distinct maisonettes, this villa in Metamorfosi is ideal for multigenerational families or groups looking for a bit more autonomy. Laid out over three floors and boasting multiple terraces and a private lawn, there’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the sweeping sea views. While the decor inside isn’t half as impressive as the blue vistas outside, you’ll find, nonetheless, plenty of comfort in its contemporary style and outdoor living amenities. What’s more, Metamorfosi Beach is just across the street (20 metres away), while Metamorfosi’s many shops, supermarkets and beach bars can easily be reached on foot, 300 metres from home. 


Ode to Apollo

In Nea Skioni, Halkidiki, this villa is just 50 metres from the nearest sandy beach. It’s a short walk into the coastal town, where you’ll find seafood restaurants and family-run tavernas galore. Days can be spent by the poolside, or indulging in long, lazy lunches on the terrace outdoors with the sea shimmering in the distance. Although it’s one of four similar maisonettes within a holiday complex, the traditional Greek touches inside – a stone fireplace and beachy bric-a-brac on the open-plan living area – save it from feeling generic.  

Paradise on a Hill

Located in beautiful Halkidiki, this villa is ideal for a large family looking to spend time together surrounded by nature and with the beach within a short walk. Its modern interiors of clean lines and an expansive garden shaded by ancient pines make this home conducive to switching off from the rest of the world. Lie on one of the decadent loungers by the large private pool, or chill out in the fabulous sunken Jacuzzi. Children can tire themselves out on the basketball court and enjoy a movie on the full HD 150” projector. The whole family can get together for an alfresco meal cooked on the barbecue or make time to discover the excellent restaurants at Sani Marina.
