On the island of Serifos, this idyllic villa is just a twenty-minute stroll away from Livadi village, harbour and an abundance of bars, restaurants and shops. With so many beaches within easy reach too, you'll never be far away from the island's sparkling turquoise waters from here. 

From the villa's terrace, watch the yachts pass by as you soak up undisturbed views of the Aegean Sea in complete and utter privacy. Whether you're lounging by the pool, gathered around the alfresco dining area or stationed under the shaded pergola lounge area, enjoy the breathtaking vistas that stand before you from morning through to night. 

You can even make the most of the views from the stunning interior of the home too. Dressed in simple elegance, the pistachio green colour scheme offers an equally soothing atmosphere as the terrace. We love the beachy designs and laid-back vibe found inside this light and airy space – as relaxing in this setting couldn't be easier. 




Pistachio Parfait

With sprays of magenta bougainvillaea, unobstructed views of the Aegean Sea and stylishly rustic interiors, this peaceful villa is just the ticket for those wanting to escape the bustle of everyday life. You’ll feel instantly at ease in the living space with its exposed stone walls, wood-beamed ceilings and collection of modern and antique furnishings – it was our favourite place to switch off and relax. Keen cooks will find everything they need in the fully-equipped kitchen for rustling up tasty dinners but if you’d prefer to take the night off, call upon your fantastic host to arrange for a private chef to treat you and your loved ones.

Start your mornings with a coffee overlooking the glittering bay before plunging into the pool and swimming a couple of leisurely laps. In the afternoon, strap on your sandals and wander down to Platis Gialos Beach, just twelve minutes from your doorstep, and stretch out on the soft sands. Should you fancy exploring a little further afield, the charming town of Apollonia is a fifteen-minute drive away.

Magenta Bloom

This sleek and stylish villa awaits you with gorgeous views overlooking the surrounding area from the balcony. Natural daylight pours in through the large windows, doubling up as doors that grant you direct access to the outdoor space. Put your feet up on the sofa as you watch a movie together on the TV, or unwind with a bottle of red while you read a brand new book. You don't have to worry about missing out on your exercise routine while you're staying here, with a handy at-home gym you can keep your beloved workout routine. 

Cook up a delicious homemade meal inspired by the Grecian cuisine you'll be sampling during your time here. Tuck into the hearty plate of food at the wooden dining table – washed down with a glass of bubbly and paired with a scenic view by the window. Two of the bedrooms give you access to the outdoors, with one leading to the balcony and the other to the refreshing pool. The large windows in these bedrooms allow ample daylight to stream in, as well as provide an absolutely beautiful view of the sunset. Relax by the pool as you bathe in the amber glow of the evening or take a dip as you admire the encompassing landscape.

Head out to visit Althea Beach where you can spend your days by the sea, listening to the ocean waves as you relax under the sun with a refreshing drink. Take a drive along the coastline where you'll find Beach Duni Island – a fantastic spot to take those much-loved holiday snaps. 

Blue Paradise

Now that's what we call a view – perfect for catching the sun setting behind the nearby volcanic island over cocktails. Inside, the home boasts plenty of Santorini style, with plenty of curves and vaulted ceilings. Two of the bedrooms are a little on the small side, but we suspect you'll want to spend as much time as possible outside here – the stunning Jacuzzi and terrace area are perfect any hour of the day or night, while the alfresco dining area is an ideal spot for breakfast. 

A Greek Wonder

A frequent feature in interior design magazines, this one-of-a-kind villa merges classic Cycladic architecture with all the must-haves for modern living. White-washed walls, custom-made furniture and looping stone arches give this whole place a serene, almost sculpture-like aesthetic, and with the Aegean Sea stretched out before you, the picture-perfect backdrop only adds to the dreamy feeling.  

As much as we love the interior, our favourite spot is by far the two outdoor spaces. Greet the day with a cup of coffee on the balcony upstairs, watching as the sun slowly rises over the ocean. Then, while away balmy afternoons in the infinity pool (complete with jacuzzi and resistance swimming jets), or just sprawl out on one of the lounge chairs with a cocktail in hand. Come dinnertime, prepare a mouth-watering alfresco feast using the built-in barbecue and outdoor wood-fired oven, digging into your fare around the expansive table. And you won't want to miss the sunsets, either. Pull up a seat, pour yourself a glass of wine and get ready to be dazzled by the purple-painted horizon. 

The island of Paros is begging to be explored if you can drag yourself away from this private paradise. Parikia, the capital, is only a seven-minute drive – head there for eateries, cultural landmarks and cobbled alleys lined with pretty white houses and flowered balconies. Sandy, picturesque beaches are a dime a dozen here and are all easily reached by car – including Krios, Marcelo and Livadia, just five minutes away.

Amethyst Bliss

Located a few metres from the sea, this villa is like something from a dream. If you are lucky enough to arrive in the evening, you will be met with glowing amber lights, beautifully illuminating the warm stone walls. Modern yet homely, this house oozes class and warmth from every nook. After a restful night's sleep, indulge in sunrise, as you sip a hot beverage on your undercover outdoor rattan sofa. Watching the water glistening in the distance is quite the treat. Spend your days swimming in the private pool or sinking your toes into the warm sand at the beach accessible from your back garden. Luxury and convenience are available in equal measure in this beautiful home. 

If you fancy sampling the local cuisine, take an evening stroll to dinner. For something a little more relaxed, fire up the barbecue and dine alfresco in your pretty outdoor garden, surrounded by loved ones. When you are ready for a little ‘me’ time, enjoy sundowners on the private balcony for a really memorable treat. If you do like to be beside the ‘Greek’ seaside, this home is a wonderful hub. Beauty, character and class make this a home-away-from-home and ensures that whether you stay close to home, or take a trip to Athens, you will have memories to cherish. 

Pretty as a Peacock

Summer escapes don’t get much better than this. Tucked away on the dreamy island of Serifos, this gorgeous home is the perfect setting for a relaxing Mediterranean getaway with all your favourite people. 

We’re big fans of the interior here – think muted tones and cool, stone walls – but it’s the outside space that really captured our imagination. Boasting a sun-soaked patio complete with private pool and breath-taking ocean views, this place has ‘idyllic’ written all over it. Grab a seat on one of the poolside sun loungers and settle in for a day of tanning or beat the heat with a cool glass of wine on the shaded veranda. 

When you’re in the mood to explore, you’ll find yourself within easy reach of the island’s best beaches. Catch some rays by the sparkling Mediterranean Sea or lace up your hiking boots and set off for an invigorating walk in the mountains. Then, when you’ve had your fill of the great outdoors, jump in the car and head to Hora – the island’s capital – for a refreshing drink at one of the local bars. Cheers! 

Among the Olive Branches

This sweet little holiday home is a fine example of traditional Greek architecture and design. Beautiful stone combines with fresh white walls and blue accents to create a cosy, cool and comfortable home. 

Sunny Serifos boasts over seventy beaches and is an untouched beauty. This villa’s many windows showcase spectacular views of the Aegean Sea and out to neighbouring islands – sitting on the pretty stone terrace gives you the chance to plan your stay, using the panoramic view as a map of sorts. 

You’ll want to explore some of the many beaches within walking distance of the villa. Is there anything better than strolling along soft white sand as the sea rolls over your feet? After a day in the surf, walk to Livadi. Take a seat at one of the restaurant tables overlooking the harbour, and eat, drink and be merry. If watching the boats and yachts sail into port inspires you, perhaps you’ll head out on a boat tour of the coast. 

For truly spectacular views, visit the Chora. This mountain-top capital sits 200m above sea level and can be reached in fifteen minutes by car. Watch the sun set over the sea and feel your stresses melt away. 


Powder Blue Shutters

Experience the perfect blend of traditional architecture and contemporary design in this renovated villa with panoramic views of the Aegean Sea. Located on the tranquil southwest coast of the island and just 5.2 km from the charming town of Batsi, this house is the perfect getaway for families and friends. Relax in the beautiful pebble-shaped swimming pool and share Greek feasts on the wooden deck admiring the sea views. The interior is sleek, with plenty of glass for guests to enjoy that outdoor-indoor living experience. When you’re ready to hit the beach, head down to Paralia Mpatsi, then settle in for dinner along the waterfront.

Sunsets in Blue

Occupying an enviable spot on Santorini’s northwestern tip, this apartment guarantees an unforgettable family holiday. The home features a private terrace with a covered area for dining, a hot tub and sweeping views of the Caldera and Aegean Sea. Inside, the place is compact yet comfortable – though there isn’t much space for socialising when the sofa bed is in use. If you’d like to stretch your legs, Oia’s charming taverns and restaurants are on your doorstep, and Ammoudi Bay is within walking distance.

Moonstone & Olive

Sifnos might not be one of Greece's most well-known islands but if it means beautiful villas such as this are easier to snap up, perhaps this semi-obscurity isn't such a bad thing.

Perched close to the eastern coastline, you're blessed with a truly glorious panorama of dazzling blue Ionian Sea and rugged rocky terrain. There are plenty of spots from which you can enjoy this view, whether it's lounging on the terrace, dining under the pergola or even inside peering out through the windows.

Although it faces tough competition, the home's interior rewards closer inspection, too. The cleansingly white walls and floors feel both contemporary in style and perfectly cooling during hot Mediterranean afternoons. The kitchen is rather large and sleek in style in case you fancy knocking up a banquet at any point — there's also a balcony if you prefer to do so alfresco.

When you want a day at the seaside, Apokofto Beach is less than five minutes' walk away. The island's main town of Apollonia is a quarter of an hour's drive away and offers a decent range of restaurants and bars.



Herculean Holiday
