The views over the caldera from this cave home’s terrace in Oia are stunning. There are not one, but two Jacuzzis to relax in, one indoors and one outdoors with incredible vistas, while inside, the décor is classic and charming. A few things to note, we’d say –  the wifi can be a bit patchy, especially towards the back of the house. Also, you don’t get a sunset or sunrise view, but the vistas are fabulous even without them and it’s just a few minutes’ stroll to a sunset vantage point in the town. In fact, the location is ideal as you can walk to boutiques, restaurants and bars.

This home is on the small side, but it’s perfect for a romantic break or a solo trip. The private terrace and hot tub overlook the sparkling Aegean Sea, and you really couldn’t ask for a better view. While parking is possible at the entrance of the village, a car isn’t essential as the area is best explored on foot, with Katharos Beach just a 19-minute walk away.

Imagine waking up to the sounds of the sea and stepping out onto your private balcony for a sfougato breakfast feast, whipped up in your kitchenette. The villa boasts three bedrooms and two bathrooms, providing the ultimate comfort. Two king-sized bedrooms are located on the lower level, with a loft bedroom on the upper level, secluded with its own bathroom. All bedrooms come with wardrobes, air conditioning, eco-friendly mattresses and bedding, and feathered pillows. On request, a baby cot and an extra single folding camp bed are available.

The fully equipped kitchen features a blender, electric grill and stove, refrigerator, toaster, filter and Nespresso coffee makers, kettle, and cooking utensils. A six-seater dining room is also provided. Each level has a bathroom stocked with bath towels, slippers, hypoallergenic shampoo and shower gel, a hairdryer, a 220V shaver plug, and a washing machine.
