Situated on the ridge of Aleomandra and facing the stunning Aegean, the views over the neighbouring island of Delos are gorgeous, and the sunsets here are legendary. 

Almost entirely hidden from view, this home has an exclusive setting. Sitting behind hand-built stone walls dug from the site – there's a traditional island vernacular palette of materials such as lime-wash, stone, and wood. 

This home has been designed for laid-back summer living – lounge by the infinity pool or enjoy some cocktails in one of the many stylish seating areas. Neolithic-like standing stones support chestnut-wood pergolas casting beautiful shadows and giving shelter from the hot Mykonos sun. The rough-hewn boulders are a recurring feature, anchoring this home in the landscape – you'll find them scattered inside this villa and around the pool. We particularly love the ones that form stepping stones through the shallow water to the main outdoor living area.

Inside, you'll find large soft grey sofas, shelves of plants, curvaceous vases and ceramic sculptures and an elegant Boffi kitchen with Gaggenau home appliances (your host can arrange a private chef for you). There's also a techno-gym room and a private gallery space, no less. This place is primed for entertaining – they even have their own summer-inspired playlist for the sound system.

Spend days on the beach which is just a short eleven-minute walk from your door. Or venture further from home and visit Mykonos Town – a short nine-minute drive away, or Mykonos Port – a twelve-minute drive away. Watch a movie at the open-air cinema that can be reached within eight minutes by car or also within eight minutes by car are the Windmills of Mykonos.

This beautifully crafted villa marries the traditional materials of stone and white stucco with modern and boho interiors – we love the chic living space. If the weather gets chilly, cosy up by the log burner here. We love the bedroom that has access to the balcony too, so it’s easy to take in the warm morning air and Mykonos sun after waking up.

This Cycladic treat in Ornos caught our eye with its stylish interior that perfectly captures the region, along with its stunning view of the nearby bay. Spread over three floors, you and your guests will find plenty of room here, and there are enough bathrooms that there won't be any queues in the morning. The large infinity pool is a great spot for relaxing around, complemented by the privacy-ensuring stone walls and sprawling landscape view. And you're just a short stroll from the nearest beach and just a few miles from the airport here.

Don't even get us started on the Aegean sea sunsets – they're downright magical, and you'll have a front-row seat. 

A former mayor's residence, this home was built in 1850 and has oodles of character inside – think beams on the high ceilings and shutters on the windows. Yet every room is bright, crisp and super sleek, thanks to the minimal decorations and white colour scheme. The design is pared-back on purpose so you can focus on the scenery, but don't let that fool you.
