The main villa is spread across two floors with the main bedroom on the upper floor boasting a private balcony with captivating garden and sea views. While an additional studio with a single bed and en-suite – attached to the house with a separate entrance – offers privacy if needed.

The pool terrace is the perfect place to breakfast on Greek yoghurt and honey under the shade of the pergola before you lounge by the pool in the peaceful sunshine. Then, cool off in your private swimming pool from which you can overlook the Aegean Sea.

Via the idyllic garden, this home has direct access to the beach – only a one-minute walk or 20 steps away. Plus, within a five-minute drive, you will also find Varis and Mega Gailou beaches.

Venture further from the villa and you will reach Ermoupolis within a ten-minute drive. Here, you can see the City Hall that was built in the late 1800s, the stunning Orthodox church ‘Naós Agíou Nikoláou’, gaze at the decorative ceilings in the Theatro Apollon or explore the art galleries and museums.

Tucked away down an alleyway in one of the oldest buildings on the island, the unmistakable blue doors lead into a quaint tiled courtyard with a table and chairs set up for you to enjoy your morning coffee outdoors. There’s no kitchen here, so you’ll need to head out at mealtimes. Fortunately, there are plenty of tavernas within driving distance of your doorstep. Our favourite feature was the terrace – we couldn’t get enough of the private pool, especially after a nap on the loungers.

Chic and stylish, this suite has an air of understated luxury. While it’s on the small side, the private garden has more than enough space for two and boasts a private pool. There’s no kitchen here, so we think this home is best suited to a couple or two friends who want to relax and take time off from everyday tasks. There’s a Greek taverna close by where you can sample some of the local cuisine, and you’ll have your own dining table to sit and enjoy a coffee each morning. The location is a real selling point – the beautiful Laguna Beach is just 550 metres away.

While all three bedrooms offer sea and sunset views, we recommend heading out onto the terrace before nightfall. Fire up the barbecue and grill up a delicious dinner, uncork a bottle of wine and settle down on the sun loungers – the best is yet to come. We love the sea and mountain views from the private pool and roof terrace, as well as the spacious garden surrounded by idyllic countryside and olive groves. One thing to note – the villa’s accommodation is split between the main house and an apartment and guest house, so it's ideal for large families and friends. Out and about, there are gorgeous wineries and beaches to explore, including Aspros Gremos, a short drive away.

This luxurious villa overlooks stunning sea views and sits just moments away from the famous Psarou beach, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing Mykonos holiday. With a private pool and plenty of space for alfresco feasts and sunset cocktails, you can get fully immersed in the island living here. The inside boasts a sleek and comfy design, with each one of the plush bedrooms featuring an en-suite bathroom. Bear in mind that there are quite a few stairs to climb here so children will need to be supervised.

The Cycladic villa is flooded with natural light and decorated with an earthy, organic flair – think wooden beams and exposed stone walls. A homely and rural haven, you'll feel at peace within moments of arriving. 

Not only is this home aesthetically pleasing, but it's also well-outfitted with all you'll need to eat, sleep and enjoy some well-deserved leisure time. Try your hand at Greek cooking in the blue-hued kitchen – with double doors opening onto your terrace – then glide outside to dine al fresco with views of the Aegean Sea. Your closest access point, Karavi beach, is just a five-minute drive away. This secluded cove is enclosed by low, craggy hills, opening out into impossibly blue waters. Spend the morning here before driving fifteen minutes inland to the postcard-perfect town of Chora. Wind through narrow streets lined with buttermilk buildings to reach the traditional windmills that watch over the community.

The Blue Beam

One of the more modest villas in our collection, this home's excellent location meant that we felt compelled to include it. As you look out at the sparkling Aegean Sea while tending to the barbecue on the terrace or make the sixty-second stroll down to Farangas Beach, you might be inclined to think we made the right choice.

That's not to say the home itself is a compromise in any way. The architecture is traditionally Cycladic in influence, with arched doorways, exposed stonework and wooden ceiling beams. Some of the furnishings are in keeping with this aesthetic, like the weathered coffee table and mirror frame, but there are others, such as the mid-century-inspired chairs in the living room, that add a little more contemporary flair.

As well as the beach almost literally on your doorstep, there are restaurants and a few more seaside spots in the next village over of Aliki, around five minutes' drive away. The island's main town of Parikia takes just under twenty minutes to reach in the car, too.
