It's composed of the main apartment and two studios – one of which has wheelchair access – meaning that all your loved ones can enjoy their own space and make some lasting memories together. 

Each of the living spaces has its own kitchen area, so your guests can have some independence and create their own schedules. Step outside to relax on the terrace with a fresh coffee in the morning, or a final sundowner come evening as you admire the fabulous views across the bay. The swimming pool is private and feels secluded and tranquil thanks to the trees that surround the property, and the mountains in the distance make an impressive backdrop for your morning swim. We’re content to lie out in the sun – occasionally going for a dip or taking a moment to meditate – but if you prefer a bit more action on your holiday, there’s plenty nearby. 

The beautiful Limnonari beach is just fourteen minutes away and is understandably popular. Soft white sand and clear, calm water await. In fact, there are enough beaches within twenty minutes of the villa that you can visit a different sandy stretch every day of your stay. 

Skopelos town and port are only thirteen minutes from the villa. Whether you plan on setting sail yourself or just enjoy watching the yachts drift in and out of port, it’s a lovely spot for an evening meal and a glass of wine.

A collection of three villas sitting atop a hilltop on the island of Skelopos, this address has a few aces up its sleeve. The first has to be the incredible 360-degree views, which take in the dazzlingly blue Aegean Sea, the village of Glossa and mountains covered in pine forests.

Thankfully, there are plenty of spots from which to enjoy this spectacular panorama, including a selection of covered terraces and the swimming pool in the middle of the outdoor space. You can even appreciate the scenery while indoors thanks to the large windows in each home. When you get around to giving it a closer look, you'll notice that the design throughout all three has a rustic charm, with wooden ceiling beams and earthy tones making for an atmosphere conducive to relaxation.

Although there's certainly an air of tranquillity at the address, it doesn't take too long to reach somewhere with a bit more life. The cafes and restaurants of Glossa take just over five minutes to reach in the car, while Loutraki Beach is a twelve-minute drive.

Of the Aegean Sea’s many islands, you can find some of the most striking spots in the Northern Sporades archipelago. Perched on top of a verdant hillside in north Skopelos, this villa's incredible position brings with it many perks. The fact that the nearest neighbour is a kilometre away means that there's a deep sense of peace and tranquillity at the address, something you can really appreciate as you wander about the garden full of Mediterranean vegetation. As well as that, the elevation naturally leads to some superb views of the Aegean Sea.

However, the home doesn't rest on its laurels and it has enough amenities that it would still be a great getaway even if it was in the most unpromising of surroundings. The large swimming pool is sure to be the first of these to grab your attention, while a stroll about the outdoor space will reveal a choice of terraces plus a stone barbecue for grilling up some smoky flavours.

Heading inside, the design is a lot more contemporary than the rather traditional exterior lets on. White walls, floors and ceilings make for a blank canvas against which bold blue accents and other colourful touches really jump out. The kitchen with its breakfast bar is both large and sleek, while the balconies and covered terrace offer even more spaces to relax.

Although you could very easily never feel the need to leave the villa, there are distractions nearby should you fancy a change of scenery. Agios Ioannis beach is just under ten minutes away in the car, while the hilltop town of Glossa takes just over five minutes to reach and has a small collection of restaurants in case you want a night off cooking.

The lively port town of Patitiri is just ten minutes away by car. You could rent a boat and go sailing, or even take a coastal tour on a yacht. Steni Vala is a wonderful fishing village nearby – an eleven-minute drive. There you’ll find incredible seafood restaurants and a seascape dotted with fishing boats. The beach is just four minutes away in the car, or you can stroll there in twenty minutes and take in more of the villa’s lush surroundings. The restaurant and cafe at the beach serve excellent food so you can really make a day of it. 

An afternoon by the freshwater pool here is rewarded with glorious views and a pretty pergola to shelter under if you need a break from the sun. The covered dining area is lovely in the evening when the sun is setting. When the stars come out, take a seat on the terrace and spot constellations until the early hours.

The island is known for its sandy beaches, and you’ll find a great one just 600 metres away, but if you’re a bit of a beach hopper you can catch a boat from the port to explore 68 others.

Stay in a mini holiday resort, all to yourself, at this lavish home on the Athenian Riviera. Three separate villas make up the accommodation, all sharing plush outdoor space for the group to socialise in style. Pad barefoot around the manicured Mediterranean gardens, blooming with flowers, olive trees and fragrant shrubs. Dining is a delight beneath the terracotta-roofed gazebo and a fully-stocked bar can provide the sundowners. True to any luxurious resort, there are staff on-hand to arrange your every whim – a boat trip around the Riviera, at-home massages or perhaps a private chef.

Each of the three villas is a modern haven inside, with plush sofas adorning each living room and glass doors letting the sunlight stream in. The palette is a neutral mix of stone, wood and sea-blue with seashell curtains, maritime paintings and beachy ceramics a nod to your waterside location.

You’ve got direct access to the sea from the villa, so there’s no need to put your shoes on to reach the crystal shallows on the shore. And if you fancy a day trip to Athens, it’s less than an hour by car.

Found next to Brooke Square in Skyros Town, this villa was built way back in 1892 and it still overflows with charm more than a century on. Much of this is down to the stunning view of the Aegean Sea that comes with the elevated position, which can be enjoyed in the garden, balcony or even out through the large windows that also bathe the space in natural light.

Some typically Skyrian architectural features have been retained — including a large patch of exposed rock in the dining room — but it's fair to say that the interior has been modernised over the years. This means that you'll find whitewashed walls, sleek bathrooms and a rather smart kitchen complete with an island.

Just two minutes' walk from the home, you'll find a pair of Museums, one devoted to archaeology and the other to ethnology and folklore. Skyros's whitewashed streets are pleasant to wander about aimlessly, but Magazia Beach is only a ten-minute walk for when you want a dip in the sea.


Poetic Beauty

One of a collection of four villas in the middle of the island of Alonissos, this home's surroundings couldn't be more Mediterranean if they tried – olive trees, herb bushes and rocky terrain fill the garden, while the dazzling blue Aegean Sea stretches out to the distant horizon.

There are plenty of spots from which to appreciate this dreamy landscape. On hot days, the infinity swimming pool will likely be the top choice, but the loungers on the terrace enjoy an equally lovely vantage point. As well as that, there are a pair of balconies on the home's first floor which also offer a superb panorama.

That's quite enough about views, though. Behind the villa's yellow walls, you'll find an interior that combines rustic features and earthy colours with enough contemporary flourishes, like the flowery armchair and abstract artworks, to stop it from feeling dated. One of our favourite features is the pair of Jacuzzi tubs in the bathrooms that makes it easier than ever to completely switch off and relax.

Of course, there's only so long that you can gaze at the sea before the temptation to go for a swim proves too much. Fortunately, the nearest beach – Tourkoneri – is only seven minutes' drive away. The port town of Patitiri is only ten minutes away too when you fancy a meal out in a seafront restaurant. 


Olive Laugh Love

Located on the north side of Skiathos, this charming villa in the heart of a quiet olive grove is a relaxing place to call home. Just below is Paralia Megas Gialos, a hidden gem of a beach that's well-worth the rocky climb down. Five minutes away by car is Skiathos Town, an enchanting village where cosmopolitan eateries, trendy boutiques, lively clubs and chic cafes promise plenty of action. From ancient monasteries to glorious beaches, there's no doubt that this is an excellent place to experience all the island has to offer.

When you're not out exploring, chances are you'll be lounging by the private infinity pool and drinking in the views of the Aegean on the terrace. Inside, Grecian character – think stone exterior, white-washed walls, wooden ceilings – meets 21st-century comforts like a jacuzzi tub and fully-equipped kitchen to create a comfortable and captivating space. Even better, your hosts go above and beyond to make your stay extraordinary. Not only will they pick you up at the airport, but they'll greet you with welcome drinks on arrival, help organise tours of the nearby islands and monasteries and assist with planning activities like bike riding, hiking, and much more.

Mystic Breeze

Standing on the terrace of this lovely home, it’s difficult to look away from the view. The Aegean Sea sparkles in the sunlight, with neighbouring islands the only interruption to the seascape. This villa sits on a verdant hillside in sunny Skiathos and it’s an all-round winner. 

One glimpse at the outside area and it’s easy to see how you’ll spend your stay. Plunge into the pool first thing, then sit with a coffee and breakfast under the veranda. The views really are captivating, so don’t expect to be able to get much heavy reading done – we constantly found our gaze being pulled towards the sea. 

There are two beaches – Megali Ammos and Vassilias – within six minutes of the villa. We liked to stroll along mid-morning, which gave us the perfect excuse to shelter from the hottest sun in a taverna, sampling local seafood and crisp white wine for lunch. 

The town centre and its shops, bars and restaurants are just ten minutes away by car. History buffs in your group might like to drive eighteen minutes to Skiathos Castle. This medieval site is now a ruin but was once a key settlement on the island – the stone ruins look especially dramatic on the rugged coastline and the views are magnificent.

Situated within a verdant six-acre olive grove (shared with three villas), this home has a wonderful setting. There’s a private terrace with a pool and Jacuzzi with the most amazing views over the sea. Inside, the traditional interiors here create a homely atmosphere. One thing to mention – the twin bedroom is on a mezzanine above the living space. Located in the South Pelion area of Greece, there’s plenty to explore. The village of Pinakates is worth a look, with its stone chapels and cobbled streets.

When it's time for adventure, seek out the hiking trails lacing through the surrounding hillsides. Take an amble into the dreamy village of Agios Geogrios Nilia (seven minutes on foot) for a feast in its traditional tavernas. Or follow the winding mountain roads down through the clouds and chestnut forests to the sandy beaches (half an hour's drive).

Views don’t get much better than these. This villa is perched on a sloping mountain, with Pagasitikos Bay spanning ahead. It’s a place to truly connect with nature, whether that’s by exploring on a mountain bike, savouring a coffee while taking in the view, or making lunch with your host’s homegrown vegetables and herbs. 

Having your own pool is one thing, but this hillside infinity pool is another thing entirely. Close the distance between you and the sea, swimming to the edge for unobstructed views. And on clear days (which really, is most days in Greece) you’ll see the dramatic mountains ahead, melting into the bay.

Let the hours pass by blissfully, swinging in the hammock, reading by the pool, or playing a game of cards on the patio, until dinnertime. Whip up homemade pizzas or Greek barbecued feasts with the outdoor stone baking oven.

There’s an authenticity to this home that isn’t apparent in all Greek villas. Inside, the cream walls and swaths of dark wood perfectly embody a traditional hillside home.
