Everything is within walking distance – which is just as well, as cars are not allowed on Lopud. All that’s left to do is slip into island time and enjoy the view.

Sunset on the Hilltop

Split across two equally charming, traditionally Croatian villas, this home has plenty of room for a big group to spread out. The second villa houses two of the bedrooms and has its own open-plan living space with a second kitchen and dining area in striking black and red.

You can start your day with a dip in your private outdoor hot tub to get the blood pumping, before having a rest in your swinging egg chair and listening to the world wake up. Tuck into delicious Croatian pastries for breakfast around your trendy dining set. Have a nap in the morning sunshine on one of the loungers.
