And whether you’re here to soak up the waves or simply enjoy the laid-back ambience of Nahariya, this is the kind of space that makes you want to settle in and stay. 

From the open-plan living room, the doors open up onto a lovely terrace – this is a wonderful spot to begin the day with a relaxing morning coffee, or later as the sun sets for drinks and dining under the stars.

You’ll find this home provides easy access to the local amenities, with a range of wonderful restaurants and cafes just a ten-minute walk away. The HaGa'aton boulevard is the perfect spot to mingle with locals and watch the world go by. And if you feel like embracing the waves, the renowned surfing spot at Sokolov Beach is just a fifteen-minute walk away.

Water Colour

A bright and breezy home by the sea, this radiant house proves there is more to Israel than Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. It's surrounded by pure natural beauty – the beautiful Banana Beach and Achziv National Park are just a short drive away. 

Head East and you'll discover the western Galilee area, a wave of mountain ranges with spectacular observations, forests, and small villages of a variety of cultures. Mesmerising and breathtaking, it's one of the most striking parts of the country. 

The whole region is blessed with beautiful scenery, and your stylish home matches the aesthetic. An open-plan living room, flooded with natural light, is a cosy social setting for the whole group to gather. Settle onto the sofas with a film or chat away on the stools at the breakfast bar.

You can rustle up some shakshuka to enjoy on the dining table, or move outside to the idyllic balcony. Tranquil and affording stunning views, it's a peaceful space adorned by outside furniture. From East to West

While many people visiting Israel flock to the two main cities, the country's rural regions are well worth exploring, too. This apartment found on the northern outskirts of Nahariya is a superb example of a home off the beaten track.

The design inside is bright and contemporary, with the cleansingly white walls and glossy tiling underfoot making the most of the ample amount of natural light that comes in through the windows and glass doors. There's a minimalist simplicity to the furnishings and finishes, which is pleasing to the eye, but perhaps the best view is from the private balcony – here, you can gaze out to Achziv beach and the Mediterranean Sea while seated at the alfresco dining table.

When this majestic sight proves too much to resist, you can walk down to those very golden sands in little over a quarter of an hour. Achziv National Park is just over five minutes' drive away too when you fancy seafront strolls via turtle nesting sites and the remains of a biblical town.


Coastal Escapade

Located in Achziv, Tel Aviv, this fantastic apartment offers proximity to the beach plus stunning sea views from your private balcony. We would love to begin our mornings here with breakfast overlooking the ocean from the terrace before we head out and wander down to Banana Beach – just minutes away. Here, you will find a sandy beach with bars and restaurants and even surfboard rentals for those travellers looking for adventures on the waves. Next to the beach is also the national park of Achziv, with ancient ruins from the Phoenician era to explore, plus wide lawns that are perfect for afternoon picnics. 

In the evening, head home and catch up on any important work and emails at the home’s dedicated office space. Then, cook a delicious meal of falafel and humus – a meal that can be enjoyed alfresco to catch the beautiful view of the sun setting over the ocean.

Achziv Breeze 

When it comes to apartment buildings, the penthouse is often seen as the most coveted floor, but those at ground level often have the better deal if there's outdoor space in the equation. Anybody coming to northern Israel to stay in this apartment will surely agree with this by the end of their stay.

Slide open the glass doors and you're greeted with a private garden that stretches around both sides of the building, which features everything from alfresco seating and play equipment to an inflatable swimming pool in which to cool off during particularly warm afternoons. Add to that a view of palm trees and the Mediterranean Sea, and it's not hard to imagine hours being passed in this pleasant space.

There's plenty to like about the home's interior, too. The tall windows and glass doors bring in plenty of natural light and this sense of brightness is only furthered by the white walls and shiny grey floor. When it comes to the furnishings, there's a mid-century influence in the preference for clean lines and wooden surfaces, while the kitchen and bathrooms are welcomingly sleek, too.

When it comes to seeing a little more of the local area, Achziv Beach is about fifteen minutes away on foot, while Achziv National Park – home to lagoons, sandstone ridges and the ruins of an ancient fishing village – is another five minutes' walk on top of that.

Grounded & Rounded

This brightly lit apartment awaits you in the gorgeous destination of Tel Aviv. You've got the best of both worlds here when it comes to dining, with a table on the balcony that overlooks a delightful view of the nearby beach and an indoor dining area in the stylish living space under the lightbulb feature. The large windows allow a ton of natural daylight to pour into the home, lighting up the seating area as you snuggle up to start a brand new book. 

Relax with your loved ones on the sofa as you pop a movie on to watch together, accompanied by the scenic surroundings through the window. Evenings are beautiful in this location – we recommend tucking into a delicious homecooked meal on the balcony as you watch the amber glow of the sunset, followed by putting your feet up on the outdoor sofa with a bottle of red. One of the bedrooms includes a TV, as well as a view, making it incredibly tempting to have a cosy duvet day. 

Achziv Beach is within walking distance where you can spend your days by the sparkling waters, or head to the Botanical and Zoological Garden of Nahariya. Take a drive to Achziv National Park where you'll find beautiful lagoons and village ruins. Throughout the surrounding area there are plenty of dining options for a tasty meal out with your loved ones such as Banahala – if you're fancying a treat there's a fantastic selection of bakeries.

Botanical Lagoon

Comfortably nestled beside the sandy shores of Akhziv Beach, for those that love a stroll along the seafront, you couldn’t wish for a more idyllic location. During the summer months, you might be lucky enough to spot the native sea turtles laying their eggs here and if natural swimming lagoons sound like a bit of you, you’ve struck lucky once again.

The apartment itself is crisp and contemporary but cosy all the while. All in all, understated is the charm here, but the addition of a pool table, table tennis table and large, wall–mounted TV ensure entertainment is never in short supply. 

If you ask us, the real jewel in the crown is the balcony area. Fully furnished with a table and cushioned chairs, here you’ll also find a swinging, hammock–style chair, serving up the ideal spot to sip your morning coffee. Just sit back, relax and sway, soaking up those sensational shorefront views as you go.

We’re sure you’ll be in no rush to leave your beautiful beachfront base, but with plenty to see and do closeby, a little adventure is sure to make your trip extra special. With a bar, restaurant, surfboard rental and more, Banana Beach is an absolute must–visit. Venture a teeny bit further and you’ll come to the national park of Akhziv. An ancient site with ruins dating back to the Phoenician era, wide lawns, and natural shallow pools, make full use of this picture–perfect spot by packing a picnic and dining al fresco on–the–go.


The Chair that Rocked

With soothing shades of mint and cucumber painted walls, you might not think this home – a twenty-five-minute drive from Israel – could get much more relaxing, but opening the sliding door that leads out to the balcony and allowing the seasalt breeze to blow in, might just undo that final knot in your shoulder. Let the sofa swallow you up as you sit reading with the sounds and smells of the ocean as your only companion. 

Come together as a group on the balcony for breakfast and plan expeditions to the Sea of Galilee or explore the neighbourhood streets, sampling each of the restaurants and cafes you come across.

When you’re not admiring Achziv – the ancient site with ruins from the Phoenician era – you might find yourself back home with a bag full of baklava playing games of Rummikub around the kitchen table.
