If you stay in an apartment in Tel Aviv a couple of storeys above the ground, there's a good chance you'll be treated to a pretty tasty coastal view and that likelihood goes up even more if the building is situated right on the seafront. It comes as no surprise, therefore, that this beachfront home is blessed with an incredible view of the Mediterranean Sea.

There's plenty more going for the address other than what lies outside the windows. The white walls, floors and ceilings are strikingly bright upon entrance and this almost heavenly ambience is complemented by a choice of chic furnishings. We've also only got kind words for the minimalist kitchen, which is both pleasingly large and sleek.

As you can probably garner from the scenery, it doesn't take too long to reach the seaside here – Aviv Beach lies just across the street. As well as that, Charles Clore Park is just over five minutes away on foot in one direction and the Bauhaus Center is twenty minutes the other way.

You’ll find an array of boutiques and coffee shops in the neighbourhood, and within ten minutes you could be browsing Carmel market, hitting the beach, or exploring Jaffa Port. The home itself centres around an open-plan living area with the bedroom on a mezzanine level – while it sleeps three, we think it’s best suited to a couple or solo traveller. The kitchen isn’t huge but with Rothschild Boulevard a ten-minute walk away, there are plenty of options for eating out.

Hypnotic comes with absolutely outstanding views of Tel Aviv. Located on the tenth floor, it’s impossible not to be mesmerised by the ever-changing cityscape (t's even better in person!). While the immediate area isn’t the most lively, you’re within walking distance to both Neve Tzedek and Levinsky Market. We know it's small, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not a comfortable base. We also like how modern it is – and also how both the living room and bedroom are flooded with natural light.

As soon as we laid eyes on the hallway draped with pretty grapes vines and a peaceful water feature wall, we knew this place was going to be good. Situated on artsy Neve Tzedek's busiest street, Molkho, it's a stone's throw away from quirky cafe's, fantastic restaurants and bohemian boutiques. We particularly loved the immaculate parquet flooring, the brilliantly bright living room and the luxurious double bed. And, although it doesn't have a dining table, the balcony features a sweet little seating area.

Despite its prime location, the apartment holds a quiet calmness at all times. Floor-to-ceiling balcony doors and pristine, tiled flooring infuse the living room with floods of natural light. It's a room that radiates in the mornings and hums with relaxation in the evening. 

A sofa and dining table provide the social spots to share falafel and hummus whilst you chat about the day's adventure. On the warmer days, you can move out to the sun-soaked balcony, feeling the fresh air lace your skin.

During the day, you can explore the pavement cafes and indie shops of Neve Tzedek, a five-minute walk away and the apartment is just footsteps from strikingly Bauhaus Rothschild Boulevard. It’s a studio-style space with a small kitchen suitable for quick meals, and the bedroom area is separated by a room divider. Those working remotely will appreciate the dedicated laptop desk.

This boho-chic apartment sits just a short stroll from the soft-sanded beaches of central Tel Aviv. Reach the shimmering Mediterranean sea in just five minutes on foot. In the surrounding streets, you’ve got traditional bakeries for morning pastries, Israeli restaurants and trendy eateries. Carmel Market, Tel Aviv’s largest market selling everything under the sun, is just a five-minute walk.

Big warehouse-style windows let the sunshine stream into the living room, where raw wood, wicker and ink-black accents give a boho feel. The kitchen is tucked away in a separate room and has everything you need for self-catering – perhaps using the fresh produce on offer at Carmel Market. Our favourite thing about this home is the cute private terrace with its bistro seating. There’s enough room for two on the wooden decking and the rockery adds some tranquil greenery.

Reflecting the charming atmosphere of the Old Jaffa neighbourhood, this coastal apartment is grand yet comfortable. Historic arches divide the living space into two areas for relaxing and entertaining and the kitchen is fully equipped – there’s even a wine fridge. What's more, a street-viewing balcony and private terrace make alfresco nightcaps a treat. Though parking is available, this home sits amid lovely landmarks such as Abrasha Park and the Ottoman Clock Tower. Better still, Alma Beach is a ten-minute walk away.

Neve Tzedek is known to be an opulent and fashionable district, but this home takes these characteristics to the extreme. An eight-minute walk from local delights such as the city’s largest shuk, Carmel Market, you’ll end up on this peaceful residential road. From street level, this eclectic building will immediately catch your eye. Layered upon its pale blue exterior you can spot multiple balconies, flowing foliage, a lush roof terrace, and even a private synagogue. Inside, say shalom to luxury living. The decor feels natural and modern, with raw wooden features, a woven rug, and long sand-coloured curtains. But the first thing you need to do is pull back those curtains – let’s talk about your private rooftop. Forget about the sweeping city views for a second while you concentrate on the features – leafy palms and succulents, tiki-style umbrellas, copious amounts of lounge seating, a gas barbecue grill, an outdoor sound system, a dining area, and an enormous hot tub. And if you ever manage to descend from this fabulous high life, you've got every beach to choose from, being just a few blocks from the shore. We recommend taking a fifteen-minute walk to Trumpeldor Beach and gazing out to the Mediterranean Sea.

Down-to-earth, chic, and incredibly charming, its elegance and simple silhouettes are the kind of combination interior design dreams are made of (if you don’t dream of a palace, that is). We love all the unique furniture, from the crafty dining table to the marble-themed lamps, and the industrial touches to the patio with an outdoor shower. It’s not a luxurious home, but it’s beautifully decorated and will make for a cool base in Tel Aviv.

It would be remiss to talk about this home and not mention the roof terrace first. With panoramic views of Tel Aviv, an inviting hot tub and a dining table for moonlight suppers, there’s nowhere else we’d rather spend Israel’s balmy summer evenings. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a spacious balcony – it was our favourite spot for morning coffees and light, late lunches. Inside, hints of industrial design are softened by mid-century modern furnishings. You’ll find a kitchen fully equipped for putting together mezze platters and minimalist bedrooms that are a pleasure to retreat to after an afternoon spent weaving through bustling souks. Your Old Jaffa neighbourhood is hip, artsy and packed with history. Ancient ruins provide a mystical backdrop to the electric bars, restaurants and burgeoning art galleries that cluster around the port – a fifteen-minute walk away. Plus, you’re only ten minutes from the Ilana Goor Museum and five from the prominent Jaffa Clock Tower.
