In the historic Tel Aviv suburb of Jaffa, this cosy apartment is ideal for a couple or solo travellers. Days can be spent wandering the ancient streets, hitting nearby Jaffa Flea Market for some street food or heading to the sandy beach nearby. It’s beautifully decorated inside, with an inviting, light-filled lounge and kitchen. The spiral staircase to the bedroom above is certainly a striking feature, but the steep steps might not suit everyone. Apart from a desk for remote working in the living room, the bonus is the shared patio furnished with tables and chairs. 

Soul of Jaffa

Nestled in Jaffa, Tel Aviv, this one-bedroom apartment enjoys a private balcony and a lovely location close to the coast. Spread over two levels, there's plenty of space to stretch your legs and the shared patio offers room to enjoy an alfresco drink or lunch. Your host can provide a free cot and high chair for little ones, but the spiral staircase that leads to the entrance of the home might not be suitable for toddlers. That said, the kitchen is fully-equipped for family meals and with a car you'll have easy access to nearby beaches and the vibrant restaurants and shops of Jaffa's Old City.

Enchanting Embrace

With shades spanning every colour of the rainbow and shelves lined with well-thumbed books, this pad is a cosy, kaleidoscopic getaway in one of the trendiest neighbourhoods in Tel Aviv. The table in the window is the perfect spot to enjoy shakshuka and fresh-squeezed orange juice each morning, and it's made even better by the smell of the nearby bakery wafting in the air. In the evenings, pad out to the pretty patio and savour a cocktail in the setting sun. We can't name a better way to end the day.

But the location is undoubtedly the best part. Known for its eclectic boutiques, trendy art galleries and mouth-watering restaurants, Neve Tsedek is the go-to stomping ground for locals and tourists alike. Shop for spices at Carmel Market (a ten-minute walk away), dip your toes in the Mediterranean Sea at Charles Clore Beach (five minutes on foot) or spend the afternoon chowing down at the chic eateries and local coffee shops on your doorstep.

Colours in the Air

With a fantastic location close to the sea, the famous Jaffa Flea Market, and several parks and museums, this cosy apartment is perfect for a solo traveller or a couple on a romantic trip. The host has thought of everything here – the small kitchen has all you need for cooking, and the French doors in the living area make for a breezy and light space. There's even a cute, shared patio that's ideal for morning coffees and evening glasses of wine. There's free on-street parking too, so the home can double up as a base for out-of-town excursions.

Jaffa Jewel

As soon as we laid eyes on the hallway draped with pretty grapes vines and a peaceful water feature wall, we knew this place was going to be good. Situated on artsy Neve Tzedek's busiest street, Molkho, it's a stone's throw away from quirky cafe's, fantastic restaurants and bohemian boutiques. We particularly loved the immaculate parquet flooring, the brilliantly bright living room and the luxurious double bed. And, although it doesn't have a dining table, the balcony features a sweet little seating area.

Floating Feather

This compact and ultra-modern studio apartment situated in the hip and vibrant Florentin district is a great place for a couple or a solo traveller to base themselves while visiting Tel Aviv, and you can also bring along your four-legged friend. Close to the city’s attractions and the many exciting dining and shopping options this area offers, this pad makes for a convenient nest. 

Inside you’ll find a bright and sleek kitchenette area, ideal for rustling up quick bites and brewing up fresh coffee in the morning. You’ll be able to savour your meals at the dining table, which also doubles as a comfy place to catch up on work during your stay. As evening approaches, why not enjoy a glass of wine out on the balcony. 

Get a good night’s sleep in the comfy bed and wake up feeling well-rested and ready for another day of exploring. Start by visiting the Lewinsky Market, before taking a stroll down Nahalat Binyamin Street. The city’s sandy beaches are also within easy access.

Simple Pleasures is a minimal one bed apartment located on one of the rare pedestrianised streets in the heart of Tel Aviv. The home is nestled bang in the centre of Nachalat Binyamin, one of the city's trendiest and prettiest neighbourhoods that's home to an unmissable weekly arts and crafts market. Although it's perfectly clean and functional, this isn't the homiest of homes; it lacks a few kitchen basics. A great balcony creates a feeling of space in the bedroom, but do note that there may be some noise at night due to the close proximity to the city's bustiest nightlife area.

Simple Pleasures

Situated right in Nachalat Binyamin, Caramel Crunch is bang in the action. It’s also located in an eye-catching architectural gem of a building from the early 1900s. Brimming with natural light, it’s one of those places that are great for unwinding at the end of a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen is a bit small and not ideal for cooking a feast, but with Carmel Market closeby, there is an abundance of restaurants to choose from.

Caramel Crunch

This apartment would suit a couple or solo travellers who enjoy artsy nightlife on their doorstep. Live music in the building’s ground floor cafe-bar and a sound gallery setup on the shared rooftop keep this place jumping in the evening. During the day, you can explore the pavement cafes and indie shops of Neve Tzedek, a five-minute walk away and the apartment is just footsteps from strikingly Bauhaus Rothschild Boulevard. It’s a studio-style space with a small kitchen suitable for quick meals, and the bedroom area is separated by a room divider. Those working remotely will appreciate the dedicated laptop desk. 

The Late Night Lounge

This cool, uber-modern New York-inspired loft-style home proves that opposites attract – it's in the heart of charming Neve Tzedek, one of Tel Aviv's oldest neighbourhoods. The streamlined design here combines beautifully with that special Tel Aviv atmosphere. We love the industrial shell – the concrete floors, walls, ceilings, and the delicate floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with light. Simple and intimate at the same time, it's perfect for a chic romantic getaway. Spend warm evenings on the outdoor sofa in the pretty courtyard, or head out to Neve Tzedek's atmospheric maze of narrow streets lined with restaurants, bars and cafes. There's plenty to do in the daytime, too – fashionable Shabazi Street with its trendy boutiques is just a five-minute walk, or stroll hand in hand to gorgeous Old Jaffa Beach, fifteen minutes away.
