If you stay in an apartment in Tel Aviv a couple of storeys above the ground, there's a good chance you'll be treated to a pretty tasty coastal view and that likelihood goes up even more if the building is situated right on the seafront. It comes as no surprise, therefore, that this beachfront home is blessed with an incredible view of the Mediterranean Sea.

There's plenty more going for the address other than what lies outside the windows. The white walls, floors and ceilings are strikingly bright upon entrance and this almost heavenly ambience is complemented by a choice of chic furnishings. We've also only got kind words for the minimalist kitchen, which is both pleasingly large and sleek.

As you can probably garner from the scenery, it doesn't take too long to reach the seaside here – Aviv Beach lies just across the street. As well as that, Charles Clore Park is just over five minutes away on foot in one direction and the Bauhaus Center is twenty minutes the other way.

This apartment caught our eye for its central location, just a five-minute stroll from the heart of Neve Tzedek. You’ll find an array of boutiques and coffee shops in the neighbourhood, and within ten minutes you could be browsing Carmel market, hitting the beach, or exploring Jaffa Port. We'll start at the terrace, a radiant spot that's adorned by comfy seating areas and looks out across the city. Whether you're sitting with a coffee in the morning or a glass of arak at sunset, it's the perfect spot for the whole group to gather. 

Wander down from the terrace and into a light and airy living space. A cute dining table connects the sofa and the kitchen – we suggest settling down here for bites of falafel and hummus before snuggling up on the sofa. 

Once you're well fed and rested, head out of the apartment and explore this sparkling city. Dizengoff Square, home of a sprawling shopping centre, is just five minutes away. On your way there, you'll pass copious cafes, coffee shops and authentic restaurants. 

Head in the other direction and you'll reach the golden sands of Gordon Beach in just a minute. Don't worry if you forget your towel or sunscreen, you can nip home and back in less than five minutes.

As soon as we laid eyes on the hallway draped with pretty grapes vines and a peaceful water feature wall, we knew this place was going to be good. Situated on artsy Neve Tzedek's busiest street, Molkho, it's a stone's throw away from quirky cafe's, fantastic restaurants and bohemian boutiques. We particularly loved the immaculate parquet flooring, the brilliantly bright living room and the luxurious double bed. And, although it doesn't have a dining table, the balcony features a sweet little seating area.

Sitting within the Rothschild Boulevard area of Tel Aviv, this wonderfully curated apartment offers a serene escape in the heart of the bustling city. 

Beautifully bright thanks to its large windows, the home’s insides have been given a stylish touch with shelves stacked with decorative ornaments, contemporary furnishings and a sociable open-plan layout. Make yourself comfortable on the sofa with a glass of wine, or better yet, step out onto the private patio garden for an alfresco sundowner and a bite to eat when you’re not gathered around the breakfast bar.

Located only two hundred metres away from the Mediterranea Sea, you certainly get a sense of this proximity to the ocean in this bright and airy apartment. Save for the boldly coloured pieces of artwork dotted about, the decor is dominated by a palette of washed-out neutrals, which are the perfect backdrop for the copious amounts of natural light that streams in through the glass doors in the living space. Slide open these very doors and you'll find a cute balcony at prime people-watching height. When you want to venture outside, you simply have to follow the street down for five minutes on foot to reach Frishman Beach and the same amount of time in the opposite direction gets you to Kikar Dizengoff and its impressive fountain.

Hypnotic comes with absolutely outstanding views of Tel Aviv. Located on the tenth floor, it’s impossible not to be mesmerised by the ever-changing cityscape (t's even better in person!). While the immediate area isn’t the most lively, you’re within walking distance to both Neve Tzedek and Levinsky Market. We know it's small, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not a comfortable base. We also like how modern it is – and also how both the living room and bedroom are flooded with natural light.

Spend one minute in this home, and we guarantee you’ll be just as amazed by the stunning views of the Mediterranean as we were when we visited. While it’s not as soulful as other homes on our site, we love the elegant pops of colour, and the balcony is wonderful. Found on the sixteenth floor of a modern building, there’s also a pool and gym in the building for you to use. If you want to take advantage of being so close to the sea, why not head down to nearby Bograshov Beach for a swim?
