As soon as we laid eyes on the hallway draped with pretty grapes vines and a peaceful water feature wall, we knew this place was going to be good. Situated on artsy Neve Tzedek's busiest street, Molkho, it's a stone's throw away from quirky cafe's, fantastic restaurants and bohemian boutiques. We particularly loved the immaculate parquet flooring, the brilliantly bright living room and the luxurious double bed. And, although it doesn't have a dining table, the balcony features a sweet little seating area.

The immediate area is filled with things to do – why not check out some of the many art galleries, or catch an event at the Suzanne Dellal Theatre? If you're feeling like it, you could even head to Anita's for some well-deserved ice cream.

If there are four of you sharing, two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed, which might not suit everyone. And while the kitchen has an all-important coffee machine to kickstart your day, it may feel compact for some. But we’ll forgive that for its unbeatable location – you're just a few minutes flip-flop from the beach.

This cool, uber-modern New York-inspired loft-style home proves that opposites attract – it's in the heart of charming Neve Tzedek, one of Tel Aviv's oldest neighbourhoods. The streamlined design here combines beautifully with that special Tel Aviv atmosphere. We love the industrial shell – the concrete floors, walls, ceilings, and the delicate floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with light. Simple and intimate at the same time, it's perfect for a chic romantic getaway. Spend warm evenings on the outdoor sofa in the pretty courtyard, or head out to Neve Tzedek's atmospheric maze of narrow streets lined with restaurants, bars and cafes. This apartment would suit a couple or solo travellers who enjoy artsy nightlife on their doorstep. This apartment caught our eye for its central location, just a five-minute stroll from the heart of Neve Tzedek. You’ll find an array of boutiques and coffee shops in the neighbourhood, and within ten minutes you could be browsing Carmel market, hitting the beach, or exploring Jaffa Port. The home itself centres around an open-plan living area with the bedroom on a mezzanine level – while it sleeps three, we think it’s best suited to a couple or solo traveller. The kitchen isn’t huge but with Rothschild Boulevard a ten-minute walk away, there are plenty of options for eating out.

With panoramic views of Tel Aviv, an inviting hot tub and a dining table for moonlight suppers, there’s nowhere else we’d rather spend Israel’s balmy summer evenings. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a spacious balcony – it was our favourite spot for morning coffees and light, late lunches. Inside, hints of industrial design are softened by mid-century modern furnishings. You’ll find a kitchen fully equipped for putting together mezze platters and minimalist bedrooms that are a pleasure to retreat to after an afternoon spent weaving through bustling souks. Your Old Jaffa neighbourhood is hip, artsy and packed with history. Ancient ruins provide a mystical backdrop to the electric bars, restaurants and burgeoning art galleries that cluster around the port – a fifteen-minute walk away. Plus, you’re only ten minutes from the Ilana Goor Museum and five from the prominent Jaffa Clock Tower.

Perfect for a family, Pillar Box Red is a calm escape in Neve Tzedek. There’s no doubt that the living room is the heart of the home – it’s incredibly stylish with its many quirky souvenirs and colourful accents, and it also sets the scene for cosy nights-in. Unfortunately, the bedrooms aren’t of the same calibre as the rest of the home, but we won’t hold that against an otherwise charming home. And if you (like us) love ice cream, you’ll be happy to hear that Anita’s is just across the street.

With three bedrooms and a huge terrace, Raspberry Swirl is a great choice for a group or family looking to explore Tel Aviv. While the home itself is on the smaller side, it’s well-equipped – we particularly enjoyed the kitchen. Two guests would be on a sofa bed, but we that’s all worth it, especially considering the fact that you also get access to a pool, gym, and spa.

This is one of those homes we just can’t seem to take our eyes off. The love child of industrial design and a minimalist aesthetic, this home is perfect for travellers seeking a lush yet modern base in Tel Aviv’s charming Neve Tzedek neighbourhood. The living room is a box of glass, looking out over the sleek skyscrapers. Even the shower has a rooftop view. Concrete ceilings and wooden floors are brightened by sunshine hitting each room at every angle. A long dining table can host lavish dinners and the kitchen has everything you need for self-catering. Let's not forget about the rooftop Jacuzzi, overlooking Tel Aviv's ever-changing cityscape. Glass doors slide open from bedrooms and the living room to the wrap-around balcony where sun loungers, sofas (and that Jacuzzi) await amidst the flowers.

Neve Tzedek is known to be an opulent and fashionable district, but this home takes these characteristics to the extreme. An eight-minute walk from local delights such as the city’s largest shuk, Carmel Market, you’ll end up on this peaceful residential road. From street level, this eclectic building will immediately catch your eye. Layered upon its pale blue exterior you can spot multiple balconies, flowing foliage, a lush roof terrace, and even a private synagogue. Inside, say shalom to luxury living. The decor feels natural and modern, with raw wooden features, a woven rug, and long sand-coloured curtains. But the first thing you need to do is pull back those curtains – let’s talk about your private rooftop. Forget about the sweeping city views for a second while you concentrate on the features – leafy palms and succulents, tiki-style umbrellas, copious amounts of lounge seating, a gas barbecue grill, an outdoor sound system, a dining area, and an enormous hot tub. And if you ever manage to descend from this fabulous high life, you've got every beach to choose from, being just a few blocks from the shore. We recommend taking a fifteen-minute walk to Trumpeldor Beach and gazing out to the Mediterranean Sea.

Echeveria Terrace

Set in a renovated building from the 1920s with incredibly high ceilings (the kind that’s hard to show in photos), Out Of The Blue is a gem. It’s located on the edge of Neve Tzedek, one of Tel Aviv’s most beloved neighbourhoods, with restaurants, boutiques and coffee shops lining the tranquil streets. It also oozes personality, which is something we always value. Stay here if you want to be within walking distance to some of the city’s most charming spots, while also living in a charming home.

Out Of The Blue

Creatives and shopaholics alike will love this super stylish apartment’s location in Tel Aviv’s artsy and romantic Neve Tzedek neighbourhood. It’s located just a five-minute walk from trendy Shabazi Street with its chic boutiques and art galleries. Foodies are well catered for, too, with many fine dining options, as well as the weekly farmers’ market in HaTachana, housed in an old train station, just over a ten-minute stroll away. Take your produce back home, cook a meal in the sleek kitchen, and enjoy the breakfast bar. With exposed ceilings, raw concrete walls and lots of charisma, this apartment is heaven for fans of industrial chic interiors. Luxurious to the bone, we especially love the marble-clad bathrooms here. After dinner, have a glass of wine on your private balcony or take a seat on the huge sofa in the living space, and gaze at the neighbourhood views from the floor to ceiling windows. With this cool place, you can really experience Tel Aviv like a local.


Concrete Phenomenon

Even though Equilibrium is on the garden level, it feels like it could be a loft in Brooklyn. The host, Gil, is an architect, and he designed the place himself, from what used to be a garage. It still has a very industrial feel to it – if you’re after kitsch cosiness, you won’t find it here – and we love the unusual touches that come with that (the kitchen swing is a particular highlight). There aren’t any doors to the bedrooms, which won’t be for everyone, but we think that adds to the character, as does the plant-filled terrace.

Hypnotic comes with absolutely outstanding views of Tel Aviv. Located on the tenth floor, it’s impossible not to be mesmerised by the ever-changing cityscape (t's even better in person!). While the immediate area isn’t the most lively, you’re within walking distance to both Neve Tzedek and Levinsky Market. We know it's small, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not a comfortable base. We also like how modern it is – and also how both the living room and bedroom are flooded with natural light.
