Up above the town of Ponta do Sol on Madeira’s south coast, this sugar-cube style apartment embraces traditional architecture on the outside and minimalist modernity inside. The view of Ponta do Sol – a series of orange-roofed buildings tumbling down the hillside to the deep blue sea – is framed by tropical plants, and settling into the beanbag-like chairs on the private terrace is the perfect spot to take it all in. A sparkling rectangle of infinity pool is shared with one other apartment, along with the hillside hot tub. Inside, the walls are kept pristine white without a hint of clutter, and the light-wood kitchen is brightened by sunlight streaming in through a wall of glass. It’s a six-minute walk into the centre of Ponta do Sol where there’s a handful of cafés, bars and restaurants and a local grocery shop. The larger town of Ribeira Brava is a 10-minute drive away.

With just a five-minute walk into the heart of Funchal, this modern apartment has a fantastic location. It's located in one of the city's most prestigious areas, close to supermarkets, pharmacies, shops, bars, theatres and the Casino of Madeira. Adjacent to the casino, you'll find the pretty Santa Catarina Park, with its amazing views of the bay of Funchal. Other attractions, such as the cathedral and marina, are within a ten-minute stroll, too, while the aerobus bus stop for the airport is also within a five-minute saunter.

Back at this apartment, go for a dip in the communal pool to cool off or relax on your private balcony. We adore the vistas over Funchal, the ocean, and the São João Baptista do Pico Fortress – enjoy them from here or indoors with a glass of Madeira. Lots of botanical prints and vases of flowers give this place a home-from-home feel. This place is perfect for a group of friends or a family (we mustn't forget to mention, there's a shared children's playground on the development).

How about spending a vacation in a country house that is very close to the city and all tourist activities? While in the center people live a normal and fast city life, in the high zones, near the mountains, the calm and country atmosphere is a reality. In this small villa composed by three nice properties, you can enjoy all the calm and serenity with a wide view of the Atlantic Ocean and Funchal. This small 'farmhouse' has three stone-walled houses, each named after a tree on our island. The Cedro boasts a bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with shower, and a fully equipped kitchenette. With its rustic charm and panoramic views, it offers maximum capacity for two people. Located in Santa Maria Maior, Madeira, this enchanting haven is nestled amidst lush gardens and offers tranquility while being just a short drive from restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, and the city center.

Ideally located in Albufeira, this villa is perfect for families. It’s just 1 kilometre from the soft sand of Praia da Faleisa and 800 metres from Pine Cliffs golf course, so there’s something for everyone. It’s worth noting that two guests will be sleeping on a sofa bed in the living room, where privacy is limited, and that some of the decor is a touch dated.
