Although the kitchenette is compact and the bathroom is on the smaller side, we didn't mind – there's still a good amount of space to get comfortable, and the minimal, boho-chic design is a palate cleanser after a busy day exploring.

Speaking of, this neighbourhood is a trendy area full of independent bars, cafes, and restaurants. You'll find plenty of charming squares nearby to have a drink in, and several of Porto's main attractions are within walking distance – namely Clérigos Tower (twelve minutes on foot), Livraria Lello bookstore (a ten-minute stroll) and the Cais da Ribeira (twenty-five minutes away). If sightseeing, shopping and dining are on your to-do list, we think this is the ideal locale for you.
