With views of the med, the mountains, and Kalkan, it’s easy to see what drew our attention to this villa. We love the infinity pool and glass-fronted balconies that show off the magnificent vistas. And there’s just as much to enjoy inside too – like the sauna, hammam, and the games room for fun afternoons. If we had to pick one highlight, it’d have to be the in-bedroom Jacuzzi for breathtaking views while you bathe. It’s peaceful here, but you’re only a short drive from Kalkan’s beach clubs, harbour, and restaurants – you’ll need a car to tackle the hills, but the outlook is more than worth it.

This pretty hilltop home boasts views over the harbour, ocean and Kalkan Town - which is just a twelve minute walk down the hill. Considering the proximity to the town, the amount of outside space you get is pretty great; there's a covered garden, pool, outdoor jacuzzi (there's also another inside, just in case one wasn't enough), table tennis table and roof terrace. To put it simply, this home is stunning. It’s perched on top of a hill just a short walk from downtown Kalkan, and boasts mesmerising views of the Mediterranean Sea and nearby islands. The glittering blue seascape can be enjoyed from almost every angle of this magnificent villa. 

As you approach the villa and take in the view, you’ll smell the flowers in the garden. The land is also home to countless palm, banana, grape and olive trees, all vying for attention in the pretty setting. The heated infinity pool stretches out towards the sea, and is where we’d be spending most of our time. After an early-morning dip, you might lie out in the sun for an hour or two, before moving into the shade of the outdoor lounge. Sip cocktails while drinking in the view, and plan the rest of your day. 

Will you have lunch outside, or move into the cool confines of the stylish villa? The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking a breeze, and the barbecue is perfect for alfresco feasting.

When you slip into the water later on, we recommend swimming out to the edge of the infinity pool so you can once again remind yourself of the stunning panoramas. You’ll find your low-slung villa is a ten-minute drive from the centre, tucked inside the hillside, overlooking the glittering Lycian coast. When you’re not sunning yourself on the shores of Kalkan Beach, you’ll be dipping in and out of your private infinity pool, napping on a lounger or setting the alfresco dining table in preparation for a tasty Turkish feast. 

Inside, washes of white paint and polished marble floors keep the living space breezy and bright feature walls in the bedrooms ensure you start the day with a pep in your step. Put the final touches to your itinerary at the breakfast bar then grab your sun hat and explore your surroundings. If you’re keen to expend some energy, Saklikent National Park is a forty-three-minute drive away but if you’d prefer to stay put, the Jacuzzi tub in the main bedroom is the perfect place to unwind and watch the sunset.

Kalkan is a vibrant and busy seaside town, with a host of shops, bars, restaurants and sites of historical interest nearby. You're also close to Patara, the longest beach in the country – a must see.
