Bold decor, bright pops of colour and fantastic amenities make Warm Words a fun-filled home for a group of friends or a family who don’t just want a bog-standard space to call him on their next Scottsdale vacation. Welcoming six guests, with the option of sleeping two further guests on a sofa bed in the bunk room, there is plenty of space for everyone to spend quality time together or escape to a quiet corner for a peaceful moment for oneself. Although there is no pool to cool off from the hot desert sun, this backyard has been designed to maximise on Scottsdale’s incredible nights. Gaze out at the stars, for example, from the hot tub or enjoy a fine bottle of wine around the fire pit. 

Warm Words

This spectacular home is a bit like having a private resort all to yourself. The luxury villa has a 50 foot long swimming pool, surrounded by palm trees and sun loungers – with the added bonus that you get to pick who you're sharing it with. You'll also find a jacuzzi, big enough to fit 12 people, and a fire pit, for chillier desert nights. Inside is just as special, with a beautiful nature-inspired colour palette and plenty of chic details – think rustic wood furnishings, statement artworks and cosy throws for wrapping around yourself. In the bedrooms, there's crisp linen, driftwood sculptures and even workspaces for catching up on emails. The trendy neighbourhood of Arcadia is on your doorstep, with its cool farm-to-table restaurants and trendy boutiques. If you fancy getting active, drive out into the desert for a hike, or follow one of the trails up iconic Camelback Mountain for incredible views across Arizona. 

Desert Diver

It's playtime all the time when you stay here, whether it be at one of the clubs and bars in Scottsdale's entertainment district (just a short stroll away), or in the home itself, with a pool table and cornhole set inviting you to start a tournament. With a striking marigold feature wall in the lounge and lime green stools at the breakfast bar, this spot doesn't take itself too seriously. The outdoor space is where it really shines – cool off in the glistening pool or float around on an inflatable while you soak up the scorching Scottsdale sun. When you're feeling peckish, fire up the grill for an alfresco feast. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the close proximity to a number of courses, while nearby Camelback Mountain invites you to take on a challenging hike to admire the panoramic city views. 

King Pin

If you’re looking for ample space to chill out in indulgent relaxation, say hello to this beautiful abode in Mesa, Arizona. With two lounges, big, plush bedrooms and a brilliant backyard, you can spend plenty of quality time together while also enjoying your own space. The large rooms in neutral tones are calming and comfortable and there’s plenty to keep you occupied with the pool table, a stack of games and the inviting outdoor pool ready to cool you down from the Arizona heat. In the evenings, cosy up by the fire pit or dine alfresco on the covered terrace, equipped with a barbecue. With Old Town Scottsdale, a selection of golf courses and Phoenix’s top attractions all just 20 minutes away by car, there's no end to the entertainment to be enjoyed here. 

Kit & Caboodle

Packed with southwestern charm, this Scottsdale pad is just the ticket for a family on an Arizona adventure. You’ll find everything needed for a comfortable stay here, with the cherry on the cake being the shared outdoor pool – just the spot for cooling off after a busy day. Keen to get out and explore? Locally, you’ll find Old Town, Fashion Square and a whole host of eateries and bars within walking distance, so dining out on authentic American cuisine is always on the menu. 

Southwestern Solace

This Phoenix home has some serious swimming pool game. The pool is fed by seven waterfalls and has won awards for its design. Taking a dip or soaking in the integrated hot tub is like sliding into a pool in a magical grotto, uplit at night. The yard is set up for all kinds of fun and games, with beach volleyball (bring your own ball), a basketball court, cornhole and a ping pong table by the pergola-covered bar. A gas grill can fuel sports tournaments long into the evening and a fire pit and chiminea provide a little warmth on cool desert nights. Practice on the putting green before hitting the real thing – there are world-class golf courses within an easy drive this home (like Stone Creek and Paradise Valley). The games continue inside, where a pool table awaits in the huge open-plan kitchen, dining and living room. After the excitement of gameplay all day, the bedrooms are a soothing medley of grey and white with big, comfy beds. 

Game Face

You’ll find this little oasis in one of Scottsdale’s best areas. Whether you’re up for lazing by the swimming pool or shooting hoops in the Arizona sunshine, this place has got you covered. There’s a roomy backyard, planted desert-style with cacti and palms. Inside, the airy rooms, houseplants and modern art all reflect the state's natural beauty too. Spend those warm summer nights sharing stories around the fire pit as the sun goes down, while the games room, complete with a dartboard and pool table, provides endless entertainment when the temperature drops. If you decide to head out, you'll find plenty of attractions on your doorstep, with Kierland Commons and a TPC Golf Course just five minutes away.

Moon Cactus

Choose to live the good life by staying in this Southwestern-inspired Scottsdale home. Built with family fun in mind and featuring a large pool that's heated at no extra cost, a patio with multiple chill out areas and an outdoor bar, everyone can pick their favourite spot to enjoy the Arizona sunshine. We picture ourselves relaxing on one of comfortable loungers for hours, before heading out to shop at Scottsdale Quarter or golf at the world-class Torrey Pines Course. Nominate the group's chef and have them fire up the barbecue for an evening grilling session under the stars. And if cooking is not on the cards, your hosts can arrange for a professional private chef and a butler instead – their five-star concierge service is always just a message or call away.

Cactus Garden

Minutes from downtown Old Town, the Entertainment District, a choice of ten golf courses and multiple hiking options up and around Camelback Mountain, this newly renovated home is excellently located in the Old Town district of Scottsdale. Though it looks fairly simple from the exterior, this home has been recently renovated and the open-plan kitchen and living space feels fresh, modern and comfortable. The master bedroom is particularly enviable - we loved the love seat next to the bed - but guests should note that one of the bedrooms doubles as a children-oriented games room.

Desert Pool

This corner of the USA is famed for its resorts, but you’ll have a private one of your very own at this Scottsdale home. Part of a friendly community, outside the gates there’s enough shopping, food and golf to satisfy enthusiasts of any level. However, inside the doors of this remodelled hillside home, it's all about relaxation with a distinct luxe twist. The master bedroom, in particular, is a showstopper, with its red leather sofa, huge en-suite bathroom and floor-to-ceiling windows which make the most of the view of the desert, as well as the fuchsia bougainvillaea that border the entire house. There are two parts of this home we think will get repeat visits — the restaurant-quality indoor bar area that puts drinks cabinets masquerading as such to shame and the outdoor hot tub. Bring the two together — responsibly, of course — for an evening you won't forget in a long time.

Shimmering Sienna

It wouldn't be doing this property justice to call it a "home" as it truly is so much more than that. Combining everything you'd find at a five-star hotel resort with the added bonus of having it all to yourselves – this one-of-a-kind villa offers the trip of a lifetime. Set in Scottsdale, guests can soak up the Arizona sunshine from almost anywhere on the property and beyond. With so many extravagant outdoor spaces to choose from, you certainly won't be short on things to do here. In fact, the problem may rest more with if you'll have enough time to try out all of the amenities on offer. Whether it's relaxing by the waterfall pool (with a water slide), unwinding in the jacuzzi or playing a game of tennis, foosball, ping pong, pickleball, basketball or mini-golf – you'll find something to enjoy before having even stepped foot inside. When you can tear yourself away from the glorious sunshine outside, prepare to be impressed by the impeccable soothing interiors which invite guests to relax in style through neutral colours and natural materials. With plenty of designated workspaces dotted around the home, you'll be able to balance work with play when staying here too. Once you've worked up an appetite, hire a private chef to come and cook for you in the state of the art kitchen – you'll have the choice of dining alfresco on the terrace or inside with a view of the garden from the formal dining area. After dinner, head to the games room for a round of pool, or cosy up in front of the (indoor or outdoor) fireplace with a nightcap in hand, before making the most of the spa-like bathrooms. We particularly appreciate the ultra-luxurious mattresses and bedding, ensuring a dreamy night's sleep they'll have you feeling refreshed and ready to discover the local hikes and desert trails in no time. Venture out to one of the many breathtaking and iconic Camelback trails in Scottsdale – Camelback mountain and Black Mountain are both around a thirty-minute drive away. With the Old Town, only fifteen minutes away and Downtown Phoenix, just twenty-five minutes away – lap up your own secluded slice of heaven without being too far away from the centre of town should you need it.
