Though it looks fairly simple from the exterior, this home has been recently renovated and the open-plan kitchen and living space feels fresh, modern and comfortable. The master bedroom is particularly enviable - we loved the love seat next to the bed - but guests should note that one of the bedrooms doubles as a children-oriented games room.

With its own entrance, charming patio and private pool, you won't even notice that your hosts are right next door. Although if you need them, they'll be delighted to give you local tips and help you out in any way. Nestled in-between Phoenix and Scottsdale, you’re just ten minutes from Old Town Scottsdale with its vibrant nightlife and excellent restaurant choices, as well as Phoenix Zoo and Desert Botanical Gardens. Less than fifteen minutes in the opposite direction and you’ll find yourself in the excitement of downtown Phoenix. Whatever way you go, there's plenty to see and do.

The pictures barely do this home justice. When the team that designed this home decided on a mostly natural-tone look, they did so to highlight the high-end minimalist features like the fire pit and the sleek dining area. Arizona being the Copper State, there's a nod to this in the shape of a copper sink in the kitchen, which testifies to the great attention to detail. But let's not forget the more obvious star elements here – a heated pool, an abundance of outdoor seating to hang out, the concierge team at your disposal to book a variety of services, and a private office space for those who can't get completely away from it all.
