What's more, these floor-to-ceiling windows promise to light up your morning plans at the wooden dining table, as well as those special evenings spent watching sunsets. For something extra special, why not treat your loved ones to a dinner of potjiekos prepared by a professional chef? Or, how about a soothing massage after a lively day of sightseeing?

You couldn’t ask for a better location here, with three beaches in close proximity, including the city’s namesake beach famous for its fine white sand and natural rock swimming pool. No need to worry about transport either – a train station and two bus stops can be found within a few miles of the house.

You’ll find the living room and master bedroom open up onto an idyllic patio – this is the perfect spot to savour the morning stillness with a coffee, take a refreshing dip in the pool and sip golden-hour drinks as the sun sets. 

Stepping outside, this home makes it easy to enjoy the vibrant beachside atmosphere – the bustling promenade, bars and renowned seafood restaurants are just minutes away. Wherever the day takes you, this home provides the perfect setting for al fresco dining and star gazing.

We don't know what we loved more – the idyllic infinity pool or the view across the stunning beauty of Camps Bay. Luckily, you can combine the two for one of the most magical experiences in South Africa. 

The breathtaking view, crisp scent and refreshing sea breeze create a wonderful sensory treat. Waking up to the sound of the waves lapping onto the shore and the salty air greeting the nose is the perfect way to begin your day. 

When you want a break from the water, you can laze on the beds by the pool, kissed by the gentle rays of the sun. Have a cocktail or glass of orange juice by your side for true luxury. 

The outdoor space undoubtedly steals the limelight, but the interior boasts contemporary chic charm. Authentically African touches – such as the unique artefacts, colourful art and Kudu leather couch - complement the neutral tones and soft colour palette. 

Come the excitement of the evening, the restaurants and bars along the coast are pretty night-time joints, but it's also tempting to settle into the comfort of the apartment. Let the sounds of the ocean lure you into a peaceful slumber as you doze off on the deluxe beds. 


Infinite Number of Bays

Whether you’re in Johannesburg for business or leisure, this apartment’s location in the buzzing suburb of Roseburn has you covered. In the area, you’ve got easy access to the business hub of Sandton in one direction, and museums, zoos and galleries in Saxonwold in the other. 

It’s a studio apartment, decked out in modern chic design. We love the soft gold accents in the modern artwork and plush velvet dining chairs. A big window by the bed lets the South African sunshine stream in. Then there’s the shared outdoor space where an astroturf terrace makes way for a plunge pool fed by waterfalls. 

Golden Palm Nook

This cosy little apartment is the perfect pad for a Cape Town break near the beach. This home is just 100 metres from Camps Bay Beach, so you can almost smell the sea air when you wake up each day and open up the Juliet balcony doors. 

A soft, neutral colour palette means that this home is calm, an ideal place to call home when visiting a city as lively as Cape Town. You’ll sleep well in the comfortable beds, and have everything you need to relax right at your fingertips. There’s even a small garden where you can soak up the sun.

You’re never far from your next great meal here, with a wealth of bars, restaurants and cafes just around the corner on Victoria Road. There’s also a lovely kitchen in the apartment, so you can easily whip up pancakes for breakfast to set you up for a day of sightseeing. Perhaps you’ll take the cable car up Table Mountain and drink in the view? It’s a magnificent way to spend an afternoon. 


The Dandelion Clock

Located in Bakoven, where you can overlook the ocean from the balcony, this elegant home shouldn’t just be applauded for its views – however breathtaking – but also for its proximity to the beach. With Beta Beach a stone’s throw away and the famous Camp’s Bay strip not much further, you can spend sunshine days laying back on the sand as you listen to the waves lapping the shore. 

Get in touch with nature by hiking one of the many trails in the surrounding area or visiting the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. When you’re not eating fresh seafood at one of the local restaurants, take to the sleek kitchen – the family gathered around the kitchen island to nibble as you go – and prepare a simple meal with the fresh produce available. 

Spend your time admiring the natural landscape from the balcony – whether that happens to be in the plunge pool or whilst nursing a cup of coffee first thing in the morning. With most of the rooms connecting to a balcony, you can even slip out after everyone else has gone to bed and appreciate the night sky as you listen to the waves crash on the rocks on the other side of the road. 

On the Boulder’s Back

Overlooking the iconic Table Mountain, this apartment is perched above the trendy De Waterkant neighbourhood – dotted with craft coffee shops and dance clubs, this place welcomes everyone. Stroll down to the Cape Quarter Lifestyle Village and shop to your heart's content among the luxury boutiques, then stop for a meal in an international restaurant. What's more, art lovers will be glad to know that contemporary exhibitions lie just around the corner at the Goodman Gallery.

Tastefully decorated, this eclectic space echoes its vibrant surroundings. Gather together at the dining table to chat about your adventures in Cape Town, all while nibbling on vetkoek and sipping Nespresso coffee. There are even extra services available, so you can pamper yourself by hiring a private chef or booking a massage to make your holiday memorable. We especially love how the large windows let the natural light pour inside, giving you a great view of sunsets over the modern cityscape.

Liquorice Candy

This sleek, sophisticated villa was designed with the view in mind. Just step out onto the balcony and you'll be treated to uninterrupted panoramas of Cape Town's rugged mountain peaks and the rolling waters of the South Atlantic. We can't think of a better backdrop for morning cups of coffee, afternoon dips in the private pool or alfresco evening meals. And, when the day draws to a close, you'll have a front-row seat for arguably the best oceanfront sunset in Camps Bay – we can definitely toast to that.

Inside, sunshine streams through the floor-to-ceiling windows, bathing every nook and cranny in light. The open-plan layout invites you to socialise or relax, depending on your mood, so make yourself right at home. Stretch out on the leather sofa and watch a film on the DVD player, then cook up bobotie in the glossy kitchen when you grow peckish. All three bedrooms are as comfortable as they are stylish, as are the bathrooms – there's nothing like unwinding with a soak in one of the lush bathtubs after a long day on your feet.

And speaking of long days, with a location as good as this, we bet you'll be out and about exploring. Go for a hike in Table Mountain National Park, catch some rays at Camps Bay Beach or savour a cocktail at the waterfront bars on Victoria Road – Cape Town's your oyster, although we won't blame you if you can't tear yourself away from those views.

Seaside Twilight

Nestled rather beautifully between the majestic Table Mountain and the glistening sea, this bohemian-style home is an idyllic base for a family or a group of friends looking for a memorable and relaxing stay in Cape Town. 

Arrive to be greeted by this home’s cheerful exterior, set against a stunning backdrop of the cloud-covered mountains and boasting partial sea views. The inside will greet you with a bright and cosy living room, with plenty of comfy spaces to lounge about and relax after a long beach day. We love the laid-back vibe of this pad, with its lovely wooden floors and warm ambience. Enjoy movie nights with your loved ones, settling comfortably on the plush sofas in front of the fireplace. You can slide open the glass door and step directly onto the vast terrace and pool area, where you’ll also find a dining table with enough sitting for eight - should you opt for an indoor feast, there's an elegant table here too. On those balmy summer nights gather everyone outside for delicious dinners and barbecues under the stars. On hot afternoons, you can easily spend hours reading and relaxing on the comfy sun loungers by the pool. 

For a night of restful sleep, you’ll have a choice of three equally plush bedrooms, although our personal favourite has to be the master with a sleek ensuite bathroom. Treat yourself to an indulgent bubble bath, before drifting off to the land of sweet dreams in the luxurious king-sized bed. 

In the morning you’ll wake up refreshed and ready for another day of exploring. Head out to find yourself in a lovely neighbourhood, close to the picturesque beaches and with easy access to the centre of Cape Town. Why not start with brunch at your local Bootlegger Coffee Company, located just around the corner from your home. 

The Beachcombers 

This spectacular French home in the desirable travel spot Franschhoek is beautiful to look at, inside and out. The French-inspired large kitchen, living area and jasmine-covered verandas are ideal spots for socialising and gathering over home-cooked meals – or a Braai, if you fancy firing up the barbecue. Outside, you'll find manicured lawns with sculptures, a large swimming pool and a tennis court – all surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. To top it off, it's also walking distance to the town of Franschhoek, where you'll find an array of French restaurants and wineries. 

Vineyard's Embrace

Nestled on the Hermanus Cliff Path with sweeping ocean views, this stone villa puts you in a prime position for whale spotting. Inside, there’s plenty of room for everyone to stretch out, with multiple living areas and kitchens, six  en-suite bedrooms – some with private balconies – plus a pool and jacuzzi. And the location? Hard to beat. Stroll into Hermanus Village and down to the beach, or set out on day trips through the wine regions of Hemel-en-Aarde, Stellenbosch, and Franschhoek.
