Skiing in Finland is an experience all lovers of the slopes should enjoy at some point, with thick snow and fairytale forests. This mountain home is within walking distance of the excellent Masto runs, with views far across the rocky landscape. Within a striking modern building, it's stone and dark grey cladding is an imposing sight. Inside, you'll be wowed by its floor-to-ceiling windows, its double height main room and its stylish Scandi design features. Warm up around the fire, pull up a chair and read by the window, or treat yourself to time alone in the private sauna. If you're here for the skiing, it's practically on your doorstep, and there's lockable ski storage outside. Visit in the summer for a very different view, with lush green hills perfect for hiking.
