If the beach is more your thing, make the six-minute drive to the coast where sand dunes fall away to the sea. Texel is famous for its outdoor cafés in summer. Or, you might prefer to take your coffee on the private patio just outside your front door. This spot looks out over the shared lawn and is set up with a dining table. Inside, it’s a soothing palette of slate grey, teal and white walls and the open-plan living, kitchen and dining room makes for a social space.
