This home on the Dutch island of Texel is a haven for larger groups. Just a stone's throw away from the beach, it's ideal for families or friends who want to unwind and spend some quality time together. The eco-friendly villa is actually composed of two homes joined together, meaning everyone can enjoy some independence. You'll love the tranquil interior, with a soothing colour scheme and huge windows that flood the space with natural light. There's also a garden and patio, so you can sip a cool drink in the sunshine while the kids play on the lawn. And, for the ultimate relaxation, there's even a sauna where you can sweat out your stresses. A ten-minute walk will bring you down to the shoreline of De Koog Beach, where you can stroll along the sand or even take a dip in the sea on warm days. Nature lovers will be in heaven, as the Ecomare aquarium is a ten-minute drive away, as is Texel's zoo, and there are plenty of spots for birdwatching. And, you can't beat exploring by bike – there is over 140km of cycle paths guiding you through this unique island.
