Tucked away in Texel’s bustling De Koog – the only village on the island to lie directly on the beach – this chalet-style home is the perfect base for your next coastal getaway. Little ones in particular will be enamoured with the garden here, especially on sunny days when they’ll be able to run around to their hearts’ content. Join them and a couple of furry friends outside for an alfresco meal or stay indoors and warm your feet on the underfloor heating as you savour a pint of locally made beer. Proost! Of course, it’s the location that’s the standout here, just a short walk from the white sands of Texel’s sprawling beach.
