Şişli is one of the more glamorous neighbourhoods in Istanbul, with plenty of restaurants, boutiques and the odd historic landmark to discover locally. This apartment isn't the most opulent home in the region, but it's a more than solid choice if you're heading over to the Turkish capital. Despite the thousands of miles that separate the areas, there's a discernible Scandi influence to the interior design, with a preference for wooden furnishings, muted colours and cosy rugs. As such, it makes for a relaxing space in which to unwind after a productive day. The kitchen is plenty big enough for whipping up family-sized feasts, too. When the weather's on your side, Maçka Park is only a quarter of an hour's walk away, while the Dolmabahçe Palace is half an hour away on public transport.
