Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Cape Town’s De Waterkant district is a hip region just nearby the glistening reflections of the V&A Waterfront and its maze of marinas. This apartment sits right in the middle of this vibrant and creative region, only 300 metres away from the Goodman Gallery and less than a twenty-minute stroll from the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art. So it’s only fitting that the interiors of the home are equally aesthetically pleasing. As soon as you step inside, it’s plain to see that the owner has made a lot of effort in collecting trinkets from all over the world. With local South African influence, as well as East Asian pieces, the unique furnishings here are the hallmark of good taste. While it feels modern and bright overall, the antiques in the lounge tell a different story. From here, open up the glass doors to your private, wrap-around balcony. Perch on the railings with a glass of Zinfandel and gaze out to views of the peak of Table Mountain, as well as the colourful architecture of the city beyond. Plus, when things start feeling a bit too hot, you can head down to the communal pool to cool off.
