There are many highlights of this home, but the cosy terrace with incredible views of Table Mountain is the jewel in its crown. Inspiring and mesmerising, it adds a magical allure to the chic outside space. 

We imagine that outside space is where you'll spend most of your time. Whether it's sharing a pot of coffee for breakfast, tasting some biltong for lunch or watching the orange hues of sunset disappear beneath the mountain. 

The chic style of the terrace continues once inside the home. Authentically African artwork hangs on the walls and rustic artefacts are dotted around the living room. 

The living room – adorned in comfy sofas and facing the TV – leads to a contemporary kitchen and breakfast bar. You can open the patio doors to the terrace and sit on the stools to replicate beach bar vibes.

If you wanted to visit an actual beach bar, there are many lined across the shoreline at Camps Bay. But mosey around slightly more locally and you'll find a nexus of restaurants, cafes and bars around the vibey streets of De Waterkant.

Setting the Table

Nestled in the centre of the city of Cape Town, adjacent to the stunning St George's Cathedral, this home offers all the luxury and convenience of city living with breathtaking views to boot, with guests always welcomed to the home by a stunning bouquet of complementary flowers. This two-bedroom abode offers modern, comfortable, sleek furniture and finishings, looking out across the city and towards the majesty of Table Mountain, as well as beautifully-contemporary artworks by established South African artists including Zanele Muholi, Igshaan Adams and Mohau Modisakeng.

When not relaxing at home, Cape Town is the perfect place for adventure. With restaurants, markets and bars all within a five-minute walk, guests are spoilt for culinary choice. A leisurely meander around the Castle of Good Hope is always recommended, and what visit to this beautiful city would be complete without a hike around Table Mountain National Park or Skeleton Gorge. With more adventures than one person could ask for, we are sure that this home will be the setting of a truly unforgettable trip.

Adamastor's Rest

Located in a prime spot in the very heart of Sea Point, just a sunny stroll away from Queen's Beach and Sea Point Pavilion, this apartment is all set to provide a smart and stylish base for happy holidays exploring Cape Town. Filled with natural light thanks to its floor-to-ceiling windows, this home exudes executive elegance, with plush soft furnishings and contemporary design touches. The outdoor space may be a little on the small side, but we still think it makes a lovely place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee on a summer morning. There's also a shared swimming pool on the complex.

The Dream Weaver

A stunning view is best enjoyed from a stunning terrace, and the one belonging to this ocean-view home doesn't disappoint. With glass balustrades so nothing gets in the way of your vista, it's the showstopper at this place near Robyn's Beach but it's far from the only thing we love about it. There's a superb private pool too, and a state-of-the-art home cinema system so you can screen some of your favourites in comfort.

Inside, this stylish home is all about bright whites and contemporary furnishings – think glossy kitchen units, a striking modern dining table and a big leather sofa. The open layout in the living space makes it perfect for socialising and a wall of sliding patio doors opens it up to the magnificent terrace, where you'll find a barbecue, an outdoor dining table and comfy seating – not to mention sea views you may find it hard to drag yourself away from.

From here it's just a short walk or drive to the rocky coast, Beta Beach or Camps Bay Tidal Pool, or head just a little further to the superb, sandy Camps Bay Beach. Table Mountain and the city centre are within easy reach by car too.

Situated in Plettenberg Bay adjacent to Goose Valley Golf Club and overlooking Keurbooms Lagoon, this remarkable home brings a taste of modern luxury to a truly idyllic location.

Given the glorious climate, this is an address in which alfresco living is prioritised. A swimming pool takes pride of place in the middle of the outdoor space and is sure to see plenty of dips during the summer months. Add to that a luscious garden full of old milkwood trees, a rooftop bar and a bar that sits behind a large glass wall, and it's easy to pass countless hours out in the open air.

That being said, there's plenty going on behind the stone walls, too. Although you may well be thinking that there's more than enough to keep you occupied at the home, there's also plenty to see in the local area, too. Keurbooms Beach is just over five minutes away by car, as is Goose Valley Golf Club. A little further afield, there's a great range of nature and game reserves to explore.

You'll feel like you're dreaming when you stay at this luxury villa, boasting panoramic views of Cape Town's staggeringly beautiful landscape. With Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean ahead, luxuriate in the private infinity pool or lay horizontal on a lounger with a glass of wine in hand. If this isn't heaven, we don't know what is. Sleek and contemporary, every room in this vast home is flooded with light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows – most of which look out onto the spectacular vista. 

When you manage to peel yourself away from this premium pad, enjoy a sun-soaked stroll through the neighbouring national park. Keen hikers can enjoy steep trails up and around Table Mountain, but there are also more leisurely routes if you prefer gentler walks. The city centre is just a twelve-minute drive away, housing a collection of fascinating museums and plenty of eateries serving traditional South African cuisine.

Sea Meets Mountain

For an exciting getaway in Cape Town, this brightly lit apartment is just the thing. Neutral tones sweep through the apartment, which is completely illuminated by the South African sun. It's tempting to have a lazy morning on this large terrace, sipping on coffee and enjoying the clear view of the mighty Table Mountain. Why not go see it up close? It's only a twenty-minute drive away. Hike to the top of the rugged mountain and take in the sweeping views of Cape Town. Or, if hiking's not your thing, Table Bay which lies at the mouth of the mountain is a beautiful stretch of white sand, backed by plenty of shops, restaurants, and of course, Table Mountain. 

For a taste of luxury, Cabo Beach Club is just a seven-minute drive or twenty-four-minute walk from home. There, you can tuck into a delicious lunch, relax on daybeds, and take a dip in the Atlantic Ocean. If you want to glide through the Indian Ocean, head over to the west side of Cape Town. Muizenberg is a thirty-minute drive away and a beautiful place to experience the warmer, more shallow Indian Ocean. 

However you spend the day, you'll love getting home to your modern oasis. Enjoy a drink on the terrace, watch the sun dip behind Table Mountain, and finish the day cosy in your luxurious bed. Or, explore Cape Town's famous nightlife – you're just a six-minute drive or sixteen-minute walk from Long Street, where you can party 'til the wee hours. 

Cape Oasis

Nestled in the spellbinding suburb of Bishopscourt, this villa makes an impressive first impression by blending elegance and eclectic African pieces by local artists. The patio – complete with a swimming pool and ample outdoor seating – overlooks some of the mountains that make the mother city special, and those vistas stay mostly within view thanks to the architecture and large windows. With a private tennis court, gym, games room, and cinema, there’s plenty to occupy. The beach is a short drive away, and so is the golf course, but it’s Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden that's a must for any bucket list.

We can't think of a better backdrop for morning cups of coffee, afternoon dips in the private pool or alfresco evening meals. And, when the day draws to a close, you'll have a front-row seat for arguably the best oceanfront sunset in Camps Bay – we can definitely toast to that.

Inside, sunshine streams through the floor-to-ceiling windows, bathing every nook and cranny in light. The open-plan layout invites you to socialise or relax, depending on your mood, so make yourself right at home. Stretch out on the leather sofa and watch a film on the DVD player, then cook up bobotie in the glossy kitchen when you grow peckish. All three bedrooms are as comfortable as they are stylish, as are the bathrooms – there's nothing like unwinding with a soak in one of the lush bathtubs after a long day on your feet.

And speaking of long days, with a location as good as this, we bet you'll be out and about exploring. Go for a hike in Table Mountain National Park, catch some rays at Camps Bay Beach or savour a cocktail at the waterfront bars on Victoria Road – Cape Town's your oyster, although we won't blame you if you can't tear yourself away from those views.
