Situated in Plettenberg Bay adjacent to Goose Valley Golf Club and overlooking Keurbooms Lagoon, this remarkable home brings a taste of modern luxury to a truly idyllic location.

Given the glorious climate, this is an address in which alfresco living is prioritised. A swimming pool takes pride of place in the middle of the outdoor space and is sure to see plenty of dips during the summer months. Add to that a luscious garden full of old milkwood trees, a rooftop bar and a bar that sits behind a large glass wall, and it's easy to pass countless hours out in the open air.

That being said, there's plenty going on behind the stone walls, too. The interior is full of curios, from the varied collection of furniture sourced from across the globe to the antique chandelier hanging over the grand dining table. When it comes to amenities, there's a games room in the main house, plus a steam room and gym in the separate cottage.

Although you may well be thinking that there's more than enough to keep you occupied at the home, there's also plenty to see in the local area, too. Keurbooms Beach is just over five minutes away by car, as is Goose Valley Golf Club. A little further afield, there's a great range of nature and game reserves to explore.

Worldly Outlook

With captivating views of Signal Hill, this apartment makes a fantastic retreat in the heart of Cape Town. You'll be based in quiet Tamboerskloof, within easy reach of cafes and restaurants and less than a ten-minute drive from the stunning beaches in Camps Bay. We love the bright living area, with its large windows overlooking the tree-studded greenery on your doorstep. It's kitted out with everything you'll need, from Bluetooth speakers and a laptop-friendly workspace to parking for one car. Convenient, central, and cosy – it certainly ticks all our boxes.

Signal Hill Splendour

Situated on a luxury estate in the heart of the Cape Winelands, this house boasts mountain views from the outdoor space. But it isn't just scenic. The swimming pool also promises hours of fun for the whole family, with ample seating for adults to relax. Though it's hard to compare to the beauty of the natural landscape, the interior is chic with a touch of luxury to make your stay most comfortable. Surrounded by wineries, there's plenty of potential for wine tours, with the popular Franschhoek only a short drive away. 

Sommer

This peaceful apartment lies in the midst of Franschhoek, just a ten-minute walk from the village centre. The balcony offers some lovely sunset views and space for alfresco dining. Both bedrooms have en-suites and the twin beds in the second bedroom can be converted into a king bed on request, making it great for couples or friend groups. Children under the age of 12 aren't permitted, but we think families with older children will feel right at home here. You can rent a bike to explore the beautiful area, but we recommend hiring a car for trips down to Cape Town's coast.

The Red Lion

Nestled in the centre of the city of Cape Town, adjacent to the stunning St George's Cathedral, this home offers all the luxury and convenience of city living with breathtaking views to boot, with guests always welcomed to the home by a stunning bouquet of complementary flowers. This two-bedroom abode offers modern, comfortable, sleek furniture and finishings, looking out across the city and towards the majesty of Table Mountain, as well as beautifully-contemporary artworks by established South African artists including Zanele Muholi, Igshaan Adams and Mohau Modisakeng.

When not relaxing at home, Cape Town is the perfect place for adventure. With restaurants, markets and bars all within a five-minute walk, guests are spoilt for culinary choice. A leisurely meander around the Castle of Good Hope is always recommended, and what visit to this beautiful city would be complete without a hike around Table Mountain National Park or Skeleton Gorge. With more adventures than one person could ask for, we are sure that this home will be the setting of a truly unforgettable trip.

This amazing villa provides stunning, panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Whether you are soaking up the sunshine as you lounge on a sunbed or cooling off in the waters of your private infinity pool, the vista really is amazing.

If adventures and excursions are what you’re looking for, you can charter a private yacht to visit the historic Robben’s Island or even go snorkelling and get up close and personal with the playful and curious Cape fur seals for an ultimate wildlife experience. 

Visit Table Mountain National Park – just a nine-minute drive away and go abseiling from the top of Table Mountain or enjoy the thrill of jet skiing across the waters in front of Table Mountain. 

You can even go on a 4x4 wine safari of Table Mountain where you will stop at the Blockhouse for stunning views over Cape Town accompanied by bubbles and snacks. Then the second part of the journey will take you around to Camps Bay with uninterrupted views of the Twelve Apostles while you enjoy a picnic lunch of cheeses, charcuterie, and a selection of perfectly-paired local South African wines. 

Why not explore the rest of Cape Town in a vintage car? Visit Saunders’ Rock Beach with its imposing granite rocks which shelter it from the wind – just a four-minute drive away. Or, spend the day on the sandy beach of Clifton 1st – just a five-minute drive away. 

In the evening, we would love to let a private chef take care of dinner as we unwind in the soothing bubbles of the hot tub before indulging in cocktails at the home’s very own bar. Then dine alfresco before playing a game of pool or watching a blockbuster movie in the dedicated cinema room. 

Heart of the Horizon

Mountainside, with breathtaking vistas over Lions Head and the silhouette of Table Mountain, this luxury villa in Camps Bay is pure magic. Look the other way and you'll be bedazzled even further by the sparkling seascape that stretches out across the bay – visible from almost every angle of the home.

The home’s crowning glory, however, is its position above Camps Bay, offering incredible views of the Twelve Apostles and the Atlantic Ocean. Whether you’re soaking up the sunshine on the terrace during the day or watching the sunset as you dine alfresco at night, the views will truly captivate your every moment. 

Enjoy the vistas almost from the moment you wake up, with both bedrooms and the living space opening right onto the terrace overlooking the mountains and ocean scene. Get the coffee dripping first thing in the morning and once breakfast has been prepared, you can take it all out on the sun terrace where to eat alfresco. Breathe in the fresh, sea salt air from your position on the sunlouger, take a dip in the clear, solar-heated swimming pool, and when lunch inevitably comes around, be sure to try South Africa’s favourite pastime, the braai. If you’re not up for barbecuing, you can of course sample the eateries of the area. There are a couple of restaurants and cafes around a five-minute walk away. 

Spend sundrenched days at the beach – there are plenty of options to explore along the coast, including the famous Clifton Beach. Swim in the Camps Bay Tidal Pool, only a short walk away, or pick any one of the tens of hiking trails around – Lion’s Head is an especially popular choice and the starting point is only seven minutes away by car. 

After a long, tiring day, soak in a bubble bath with a glass of wine in hand. Afterward, why not sit out under the stars with koeksisters or peppermint crisp tart and end the day on a sweet note?

We don't know what we loved more – the idyllic infinity pool or the view across the stunning beauty of Camps Bay. Luckily, you can combine the two for one of the most magical experiences in South Africa. 

The breathtaking view, crisp scent and refreshing sea breeze create a wonderful sensory treat. Waking up to the sound of the waves lapping onto the shore and the salty air greeting the nose is the perfect way to begin your day. 

When you want a break from the water, you can laze on the beds by the pool, kissed by the gentle rays of the sun. Have a cocktail or glass of orange juice by your side for true luxury. 

The outdoor space undoubtedly steals the limelight, but the interior boasts contemporary chic charm. Authentically African touches – such as the unique artefacts, colourful art and Kudu leather couch - complement the neutral tones and soft colour palette. 

Come the excitement of the evening, the restaurants and bars along the coast are pretty night-time joints, but it's also tempting to settle into the comfort of the apartment. Let the sounds of the ocean lure you into a peaceful slumber as you doze off on the deluxe beds. 


Infinite Number of Bays

With mountains on one side and the ocean on the other, this villa is as idyllic as the scenery that surrounds it. The whitewashed exterior has an art deco feel, with its geometric columns and grand portico. Set across two floors, this is lateral living at its finest. There are seven enormous bedrooms, each with an en suite and sliding glass doors that lead out onto the garden downstairs, or the wraparound balcony with ocean views upstairs. There’s plenty of room for everyone to relax in the open plan living area, complete with a wood panelled bar for whipping up cocktails come evening. The spacious kitchen is well stocked for cooking up big family meals, or fire up the barbecue and enjoy lunch alfresco on the balcony, with a gentle sea breeze. 

You are perfectly placed to explore Cape Town’s natural delights here. The house is on the edge of Table Mountain National Park, where you’ll find a myriad of hiking trails through breathtaking scenery. Drive eleven minutes to reach the hiking trail leading to the mountain itself, with its jaw dropping views. Drive four minutes and spend the day at Camps Bay Beach, with its white sands and promenade lined with restaurants and beach bars. There’s a lively nightlife scene here, when the beach bars turn into buzzy night clubs. If you’re here for relaxation, head home and draw a bubble bath before a sunset dinner in your private paradise.
