Perfect for a couple or solo traveller, this city oasis in the suburbs of Cape Town’s Gardens neighbourhood is a real find. Spend warm days soaking up the Cape sun – reclining on the balcony sipping coffee or enjoying a few leisurely strokes of the shared pool – either way, this home feels like a little slice of calm amongst Cape Town’s bustle. The sleek designs and modern furnishings create an idyllic space to unwind – we particularly love the light-filled living room with its geometric textiles and plump sofa where we imagine you’ll spend evenings sampling a local Chenin Blanc and enjoying conversations. The mosaic-tiled kitchen is primed for home-cooked meals with its modern layout and sociable dining area. With a secluded mezzanine bedroom bathed in white, you’ll have no trouble getting a restful night’s sleep – and wake-ups are effortless thanks to the bathrooms’ invigorating rainfall shower. The V&A Waterfront’s high-end boutiques offer the perfect excuse for some sartorial browsing, whilst De Waterkant has some of the city’s best galleries. Soak in local life at a family-owned restaurant for some authentic dishes, then ascend Table Mountain by cable car for unforgettable views of the city.
