The decor in this apartment feels as though it matches the near-constant blue skies and myriad blues of the sea surrounding this beachy suburb. It sits on the seafront of Blouberg, famous for its caster-sugar-sand beach with a view of Table Mountain in the misty distance. On your doorstep, you can enjoy plenty of restaurants, bars, cafés and shops. Inside, blue is the main motif with gold trim and plush velvet seats adding a touch of class. Sliding open the glass doors to the slender little balcony, you can enjoy the sound of the waves from the beach below. The full kitchen has everything you need for self-catering if you’re not taking advantage of the restaurants in the area. We love the idea of waking up to South African sunshine streaming in through those huge bedroom windows. Those that want to cool off can head to the shared swimming pools – one inside and one outside.
