Tucked in a tranquil spot next to Blouberg’s Dolphin Beach in Cape Town, this elegant apartment ticks every box if you’re looking for a calming coastal retreat. In a distinct nod to its location, the interior is dressed in blues, teals, golds and sandy browns. The result? An atmosphere that urges you to sit back, relax, and let the sea air and the sound of the waves soothe your soul. If you’re not dining out (there’s a delightful seafood restaurant on site that you must try out during your stay), nominate someone to show off their culinary skills and while a delicious dinner is being rustled up in the kitchen, the rest of the gang can exchange stories in the comfortable living area over a bottle of wine. As the evening sun casts long shadows on the ground, grab your glasses and stroll out onto your terrace. This outdoor space is our favourite spot, if we’re honest – during the day you can gaze across the sea vistas to Table Mountain, and in the evening, it boasts some of the most glorious sunsets the west coast of South Africa has to offer. If you long to feel the sand beneath your feet, take the short walk down to the beach, breathe in the unmistakable smell of the ocean, and feel any stress you were holding on to simply wash away. The only problem you'll find with this stylish home in its picture-perfect location is that you may never want to leave.
