Take in the wonderful Table Mountain views from the large balcony of this loft home with a glass of South African wine, or enjoy the vistas from inside on the comfy sofa. This double-storey apartment is light and airy thanks to its huge windows – we thought it had a lovely feel when we visited. There’s a desk, too, if you need to catch up on work or fancy writing a travel blog of your time in Cape Town. This home is ideal for a family, friends or even business professionals as this place is just a five-minute drive to the central business district and the Cape Town International Convention Centre. Located in the trendy hillside set De Waterkant district with its cobbled streets, colourful homes and the Cape Quarter Lifestyle Village, a small, upmarket mall filled with fashion boutiques and global eateries. There are LGBT-friendly cocktail bars and clubs here too, while the V&A Waterfront is also within walking distance. A ten-minute drive, on the other hand, will take you to Table Mountain and the iconic beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay.
