Warm summer evenings are our favourite time to visit, when you can throw open the window and sip on a glass of Prosecco while gazing at the ancient amphitheatre. The interiors are equally as grand, with plush velvet armchairs, marble bathrooms and two luxurious bedrooms. There’s a well-equipped kitchen, but with Rome’s restaurants just a short walk away, we don’t think you’ll get around to using it much – we recommend Il Tempio di Iside, one of the best seafood restaurants in the city.
