With so much to see and do around in this larger-than-life destination, we really loved coming back to a quiet and tranquil, small gated community full of cosy cottages and billowing flowers.

There are nods to Old Hollywood glamour here, and the building's history proves it's the real deal – it opened in 1927 and has been home to a number of musicians and stars throughout the years (the band KISS loved the place).
