Top 20 Downtown Brooklyn, New York vacation rentals & luxury serviced apartments
Downtown Brooklyn is the business and government hub of the Brooklyn Borough, home to many office buildings, the regal borough hall, and the county supreme court. Tucked among the skyscrapers are large apartment and condo buildings, mixed in with some classic brownstones too. For much of its recent history, this was not an area that was very appealing to live in – there wasn't much around besides fast food joints and cheap clothing stores, but it's been on the up for the past several years. It might not have the sought-after village feel of many of the most desirable Brooklyn neighbourhoods like Park Slope or Brooklyn Heights, but there are some hot new restaurants, cool hotels, and bars springing up here that are helping to make the area much more attractive for tourists and residents alike. Transport-wise, it's well connected and you can be in Downtown Manhattan in about twenty minutes by train.
