Just a two-hour drive from New York City, this home in the Poconos is more like a private resort, with an impressive list of amenities and all kinds of entertainment options for a large group. Set less than ten minutes away from scenic Lake Harmony by car, and close to various ski resorts like Jack Frost and Big Boulder Mountain, there are shops and restaurants within a few minutes drive, along with nearby golf courses and a water park.

But that's assuming you'll even want to leave this magnificent home. With four bedrooms, a vast games room, indoor and outdoor pools, a cinema room and a bar, you'll have everything you could need right here. Spend your days lounging by the pool, relaxing in the sauna or indoor hot tub, or playing volleyball in the grounds, while evenings mean film screenings, group barbecues and games of air hockey and pool. And before bed, there's just time for nightcaps around the fire pit.

 

 

The Masterplan

Set on a sprawling 326-acre estate, this incredible home is a stunning year-round retreat that boasts breathtaking mountain views, multiple ponds, scenic hiking trails and a plethora of possible activities. Upon arrival, your host will show you around the luxury barn, allowing you to decide which facilities to add to your stay – this includes a gym, Japanese bathroom, gym and even a recording studio. Nearby, you'll be able to try out a range of winter activities such as snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing, while back home you can warm up around the fire fit or in the sauna.


The Olde Rancher

Mere steps from the beach, this four-bedroom farmhouse sleeps ten and is ideal for a large family getaway. Rustic it may be, but the interiors don’t skimp on style – white walls and pops of colour lend it a modern Scandinavian vibe. An open-plan kitchen with a Carrara marble island and KitchenAid mixer make meal prep a cinch – get everyone together to bake a cake. A travel crib, highchair and changing pad are provided for the littlest family members. 

The Captain's House

You'll find this blue-hued cabin in Narrowsburg, a small hamlet in the heart of the Catskills. From stargazing in the garden and kayaking on the Delaware to vintage shopping in town, this area offers something for everyone. It's also just two hours by car from New York City, making it ideal for day trips. All the essentials for a comfortable stay are included – be it board games, children's toys or Public Goods toiletries. There's plenty of space inside and out for family gatherings and a separate den perfect for little ones. Though our favourite spots are the outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace, both incredibly cosy come winter.

Mountain Blueberries

Escape to Springs, East Hamptons for a magical little visit to Wisteria Delight. The charming cottage sits on several acres of land and features a picturesque deck overgrown with wisteria, a private gunite pool, an outdoor fire pit and a large open floor plan. The studio-style home welcomes up to three guests and one toddler, making it the perfect getaway for a small family. It is worth noting, however, that this home does not have a kitchen, so you'll need to eat out, but with such a great selection of laid-back restaurants in the area, you won't run out of options. Best of all, you're just five minutes from the sea and if you rent bicycles, you can be at the nearest ocean beach in just fifteen minutes. Whether you want to make the most of your cosy home or spend your time out and about, there is a ton to see and do here.

Wisteria Delight

This charming home is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. It’s in the heart of Hudson Valley, close to the Berkshires and the Catskills. In summer, you’ll spend your time exploring the hiking trails and fishing, while in winter, you can hit the slopes. Chatham is twenty minutes away, and you can be in Woodstock in forty minutes – we’d definitely recommend bringing a car. The home is light-filled and beautiful, with charming decor and all the amenities you might need for a cosy stay, including a fire pit in the garden and a porch at the front of the house. 

Sunset on the Porch

This delightful cottage, nestled in the picturesque mountains of New York State’s famous Shawangunk Ridge, is an ideal spot for a cosy country escape. As the last property before the entrance to a protected nature reserve, this home offers unmatched tranquillity and proximity to nature.

The homely interior draws inspiration from the ancient woodlands and gorgeous landscape outside. Wooden floorboards pair with bright houseplants to create an organic and breathable ambience throughout, and there is a charming fireplace set within a stone wall for added cosiness.  The exquisite evergreen kitchen has stylish bar stools that invite you to enjoy quiet, home-cooked dinners, while the plush, deluxe king-sized bed in the bedroom carries the promise of a restful night’s sleep.

The cottage's location offers the best of both worlds – you’ll be able to breathe in the fresh outdoor air on nearby Minnewaska State Park Preserve and wander through its magical trails, safe in the knowledge that all the comforts of modern living are within a fifteen-minute drive away. This is also the best place for rock-climbing and mountain biking – if you like to live dangerously! 


Under The Ridge

For the ultimate Montauk escape with style and character in abundance, this fisherman's cottage has you covered. Flamingo-pink shutters and the front door set the scene for a stay that's thoughtfully stylish, charming and quirky – a blend of boho and rustic that's sophisticated and easy to love. The white-beamed ceiling, pink accents and mix of raw wood and design pieces makes for a look you'll want to replicate in your own home. This cottage just feels very at home in this neighbourhood, with a colourful living room drenched in natural light and a surf-shack motif in the bedroom, complete with surfboards and dreamcatchers adorning the walls. If the personal touches didn't already make this home, the location definitely does – you're a five-minute walk from popular eateries and Downtown Montauk, not to mention Fort Pond, the train station and nearby beach.

Long Story Short

Sitting right on the waterfront of Shinnecock Bay and providing you with your own private dock – large enough for a 36ft boat – this home is a skipper's dream. You can admire the views of the lake from the lounge and dining area through the floor-to-ceiling windows, as well as from every bedroom, so you can soak up every second of this dreamy location.

Step onto the private patio and find the outdoor pool, ideal for cooling off in the heat, as well as a hot tub for warming up on summer evenings – or simply take a good book out to one of the lounge chairs and enjoy relaxing in peace.

If you're looking for a beautiful home in the Catskills, look no further than The Wright House. This elegant and captivating 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath home is located on 6 scenic acres and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The home has been recently renovated and features a large screened-in porch, cozy living room with a fireplace, movie room, and a gourmet chef's kitchen. The elegant design of this beautiful home invites you to relax and unwind.

The Great Dan

Welcome to this stunning renovated beach cottage in Southampton. This contemporary 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom property offers a perfect blend of modern comforts and beach living. The open and bright interior features high ceilings, sliding doors, and plenty of natural light. Relax in the cozy living room with a wood fireplace and flat-screen TV. The well-equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances and ample counter space. Enjoy breakfast at the three-stool breakfast area or have a meal at the six-person dining table. Stay entertained with the Bluetooth speaker system and do some self-guided yoga using the supplied mat before unwinding in the sauna.

Take a dip in the heated freshwater pool or head to the private bay beach around the corner for a day of fun in the sun. After watching the sunset from the deck, gather around the wood fire pit for a cozy evening.

This rustic red A-Frame sits in the hamlet of Milan and offers a rural retreat in the heart of the Hudson Valley, just two hours from bustling NYC. With over six acres of land, you’ll feel totally remote here, though Red Hook, Rhinebeck and Tivoli are within easy driving distance should you feel like a day exploring the music stores, coffee shops and vintage diners. Inside this home, it’s bright and Scandi in style, with a fireplace for cosying up on cooler nights. During the warmer season, the large terrace, swing area and private pool ensure every family member is catered to – your furry friend too.
