Top 20 Long Island City, New York vacation rentals & luxury serviced apartments

Located in Queens, just below Astoria, Long Island City is a diverse, easy-going part of town, home to MoMA's cooler, younger offshoot - MoMA PS1 - a great place to catch up with the latest developments in contemporary art and well-known among the cool kids for its hugely popular summertime Saturday day-parties. While you'll still find a few brownstone walk-ups and boutique bodegas tucked along 45th Avenue, Long Island City is, for the most part, still a newly developing area that lacks the classic olde worlde charm of many older NYC neighborhoods - it's mainly slick, clean lined blocks in these parts. The neighbourhood has a great energy though and its residents love its art-scene, chilled out vibe, and waterside location which offers great walking opportunities and fabulous views across to Manhattan.
