Top 20 Williamsburg, New York vacation rentals & luxury serviced apartments
Williamsburg is the home of hipsterism – it’s where the cool kids hang out. Here, you’re never far from a craft beer or artisan coffee, and some of New York’s hottest restaurants line the once-dilapidated streets. The locals (an eclectic mix of young and increasingly affluent creative professionals) like to keep it casual, and know how to have a good time. The cheap rents that attracted the artist community in the 1990s are long gone, but there’s still a small-scale, independent feel in the time-worn market stalls selling vintage clothes and secondhand books. On top of all that, you’ve got killer views of the Manhattan skyline across the water, best enjoyed from a riverside park or rooftop cocktail bar. We should highlight that the L Train (that used to connect Williamsburg to Manhattan in lightning speed) will be closed from April 2019 for two years, though - in our opinion - this is no reason to dismiss this fab part of town. It will slow the journey down a bit, that's all.
