Top 20 Île de la Cité, Paris vacation rentals & luxury serviced apartments
Ile de la Cité is one of the two natural islands known as the official epicentre of Paris, where the medieval city was founded. With only 1,000 inhabitants, it's definitely exclusive! The streets are picture perfect, with paved streets and curving walls aplenty. With these film-star looks, you’ll inevitably see a fair amount of tourists during the daytime, though you'll also see plenty of Parisians too: simply crossing the Seine, leaving the Courts of Justice building or shopping at the local flower market. The island is perhaps most well known for being home to Cathedrale de Notre Dame - be sure to go check out the famous gargoyles and the fab view from the top. Ile de la Cité is pretty well connected by the bridges, with easy walking access to both Le Marais and Le Quartier Latin, both areas that should feature high on your list of to-dos.
