You'd be forgiven for thinking this apartment is in the middle of the countryside, and not a 15-minute walk from the sea. From your balcony, you'll admire panoramic views over the surrounding area, making this the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed breakfast with a coffee each morning. If you ever tire of the country views, take the tram into the centre of De Haan to soak up the traditional seaside atmosphere – this town was a popular Belle Époque resort, and its heritage can still be seen in the distinctive architecture. Enjoy a meal here in one of the seafood restaurants, then spend your day on the sand. Your apartment is a comfortable place to return to each day, where you can unwind on the large corner sofa and make a home-cooked meal in the kitchen, which features a combination microwave, dishwasher, and freezer. The washing machine and dryer will come in handy on longer stays, and you're bound to sleep well in the cosy bedrooms.

There are plenty of cycling paths here if you’re looking to explore by bike. For lunch, enjoy a bowl of mussels and crusty bread at one of the waterfront restaurants off of Klein Strand, a short drive away. For a night of restful sleep, you’ll have a choice between two bedrooms – a comfy master with a double bed and a second one featuring a bunk bed, which is a favourite among younger guests, but which can comfortably accommodate all ages. 

Outside your front door, you’ll have plenty of options for the whole family – from golf courses to horse riding, cycling, and of course, the lovely sandy beaches located just moments away.

Only a thirty-five-minute drive from the hustle and bustle in Bruges lies the quiet, sprawling shores of Bredene Strand. Flanked on one side by lofty sand dunes and the other by the refreshing waters of the North Sea, this stretch of Belgium's coast is as relaxing as it sounds. 

You'll find this light-filled pad just a five-minute stroll from the beach. You're so close to the water, in fact, you can glimpse the rolling waves from the enormous windows – the perfect backdrop for pastries and coffee in the morning and cocktails come sunset. Out on the balcony, soak up the evening rays and bask in the invigorating salty air with a glass of Belgian white wine.

Understated and sleek, the pared-back design is all about crisp whites and Scandinavian simplicity.
