We think you'd be hard-pressed to find a snazzy, modern home like this with better views of the Swiss alps. From the garden they're truly panoramic and this place has been designed to make the most of them – with window walls, sliding doors and a wraparound terrace. Come summer or winter, this ground floor apartment is an idyllic jumping off point to explore the stunning region, either on one of the many nearby hiking trails or on the ski slopes. Enjoy a lunchtime barbecue, and tuck into a dinner of fondue or raclette. If your muscle are aching from all the hiking or skiing, take some time out and head to the sauna.

High on a Hill

This modern appointed villa, nestled along Lombardy's picturesque lakeshore, offers an idyllic retreat for guests seeking tranquility and beauty. With its own private pool, exclusive sandy beach, and boat access, this lakeside haven promises an unforgettable stay. The villa features spacious living areas that perfectly frame breathtaking lake views, while air-conditioned bedrooms ensure comfort. On the ground level, a luxurious suite with a round bed and Jacuzzi hot tub opens up to a lush garden overlooking the sparkling lake. A sauna and additional bedrooms complete the lower level. Outdoors, guests can indulge in sunbathing on the terrace, enjoy alfresco dining, or relax by the pool. Grill enthusiasts can showcase their skills on the BBQ or wood oven. With nearby attractions such as Laveno and Lake Como within easy reach, this serene oasis is an ideal base for exploring the region's treasures.

Blissful Waters

A year-round destination with an incredible 322 days of sunshine per year, there's nowhere quite like St Moritz, and at this top-floor home close to the waterfront you can gaze across the lake and mountains and take in stunning views at any time of year. A comfortable, traditional home, classically furnished and with plenty of room for up to three guests, it's a charming home in an incredible spot.

Inside, a mix of antique furnishings and vintage wall art creates a warm, homey feeling. There's a cosy living room with a balcony and a separate dining room that boasts some pretty impressive bookshelves and its own balcony access.  And while there's only one bedroom, two bathrooms and a sofa bed in the living room make this place flexible enough for friends sharing or a small family.

Just a short walk from the ski bus stop, it's got great access to the nearby ski areas, with equipment hire and a ski school on your doorstep. And summer stays offer all sorts of hiking trails and outdoor sports. Just a few minutes from the centre of St Moritz, you'll have plenty of shops and restaurants within easy reach too.

Crystalline Lake

This cosy Swiss apartment is perfect for ski-loving families. With cosy wooden interiors, an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, and a big bathtub, you'll have everything you need to feel at home. There's even a small garden area for you to enjoy a morning coffee. As part of a hotel building, you'll get access to shared facilities like a swimming pool, spa and hammam, alongside bike storage and ski storage. There's plenty to do in the area, like skiing in the winter and lake activities in the summer. There's also a range of restaurants, bars and cafés right around the corner. 

Swiss Hideaway

Come sun or snow, this charming timber retreat offers the perfect mountain getaway high in the Italian Alps. Located on the ground floor of a traditional alpine building in Livigno, the apartment is designed to be as flexible as possible, with a sleeping arrangement that's sure to suit.

Up to four people can be comfortably accommodated here, with two of the guests choosing between either a double sofa bed or two pull-down bunk beds that emerge from the wall, with two further guests in the tranquil main bedroom.

A compact kitchen contains everything you might need to whip up apres-ski sustenance sat around the dining table before exploring the traffic-free streets in the centre of the resort, a couple of kilometres up the road – with a free ski bus linking the town. Interestingly, the area has held duty-free status since the 16th century, meaning your money goes that bit further.

The area is fast establishing itself as one of the most exciting resorts in Italy and is set to host some of the 2026 Winter Olympics. Easily accessible slopes for all levels of snow sports enthusiast make Livigno a fun option for families and mixed-ability groups.

Living Livigno Loca

This quiet hilltop apartment with mountain and river views from a private terrace is all about rest and reset. Set in a small village two kilometres outside Sorico, besides nearby hiking trails and a local park and bar, there's little else within walking distance. But for us, that's all part of the charm – and Lago di Como and Lago di Mezzola are just a short drive away when it's time to join the bustle. It's worth noting, at full occupancy, the last two guests will share a sofa bed in the lounge. While this won't suit everyone, it would work out great for a small family sharing.

Leonardo's Haven

Walking into this bright, open home is dreamy. Two large patio doors welcome in the beautiful sunlight, reflecting on the gallery white walls. Step outside the doors to a mesmerising view of Lake Maggiore and the Swiss Alps, a sight that doesn't get old. Enjoy breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and drinks on the large balcony with the best seat in the house. You'll especially love having your morning coffee here, with the morning sunlight dancing on the calm waters. Locarno proudly holds the title for the warmest place in Switzerland, so we imagine you'll be spending time lounging by the shared pool, dipping in for a swim when the afternoon heat blazes on. When it's time to explore, you're under a twenty-minute walk or five-minute drive from the heart of Locarno. Known for its fondue and local wines, food lovers will adore walking its cobbled streets and stopping into small, traditional food and drink spots. And thanks to its proximity to Italy, Lake Maggiore is actually shared between Italy and Switzerland, you can be sure to enjoy plenty of delicious pastas, pizzas, and gelato. Meander home after a wholesome evening in the city and enjoy a night cap under the pergola in the garden. 

Peach Pit

With its jagged peaks covered in pristine snow and dotted with evergreen trees, St Moritz is regarded as one of the jewels in the crown of the Swiss Alps. And just imagine waking up to a view of the mountainside you will shortly be skiing down. This charming apartment may not be huge, but it's homely, warm, and has everything you need to stay in comfort. There’s even a conservatory balcony so you can sit and admire the view with a hot drink without feeling the chill. There’s a ski storage room on-site so you can have quick access to your equipment, and with the cable car nearby, you can be on the slopes in no time. During the summer months, it's equally as lovely as a destination for hiking, cycling, fishing and golfing. Here you'll be just a few minutes' walk from the shore of the lake and within striking distance the buzzing town.

Hide & Peak

From skiing in the snowy mountains to hiking and biking the scenic summer trails, this apartment puts you right in the heart of the action all year round. It’s the ideal size for a family or two couples, with a kitchen for cooking at home and a cosy lounge complete with a wood burner for winter nights in. There’s a balcony too, so you never miss a moment of that fresh mountain air. As for the location, you’ll be just a short walk from the nearest ski lift, and in the warmer months you can swim in the local open-air pool. We call that Swiss bliss.

Swiss Mountain Oasis

You’ll find this slick, modern apartment in the centre of Churwalden, a charming town with lift access to Lenzerheide, one of the best ski resorts in Switzerland. Outdoorsy types will spend their days hiking through the Eichhörnchenwald forest, hitting the Arosa Lenzerheide slopes and strolling around Heidsee lake, a seven-minute drive away. But if you’d prefer to take it easy, unwind in the nearby wellness centre or bob about in the outdoor swimming pool, just a two-minute walk from your doorstep. 

Inside the home, the open-plan living space is the perfect place to kick back with a mug of hot cocoa after a busy day of exploring. Cook up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen and serve to your loved ones at the dining table. After a glass of wine on the private balcony, retreat to quiet bedrooms for a restful sleep, ready to do it all again in the morning. 

Alpine Meadow

This home offers a cosy, yet classy vibe for you to stay in while enjoying the balcony with views for days over the mountainous greenery, or even snowy mountains, ready for gliding down on your set of skis during the winter. Sit on the bay window cushions with your morning bowl of delight and watch the world go by at a much slower pace than the city hustle and bustle. We love how this home emphasises wood throughout for a true lodge feel, but with a modern twist.

Ski down the slopes at Carosello 30 and stop for a hot chocolate in a cosy cabin bar to reminisce about the day you've had while trying to warm up. On warmer days, take a bike ride through the mountains with the family and pack a picnic basket full of goodies for when those bellies growl.


Sounds & Seasons

If this home's stunning views of Lake Como and the mountains don't sell it to you, its location will. Set in the heart of Gera Lario, the home is just a short walk from the lake's pebble beach and the town centre. While the interiors feel a tad rustic, it's all well cared for, and the wooden beams bring plenty of charm. And let's face it – it's outside in the garden and on those balconies leading off the bedrooms where you'll be spending most of your time. The panoramas are sensational wherever you choose to be.
