At the heart of the villa lies the generous open-plan living, kitchen and dining area, and it’s easy to see that this home was designed as a space for family and friends to gather. The sleek, modern kitchen is one you’ll want to cook in, and you’ll be surrounded by your loved ones as you rustle up a feast.

The outside space jostles for attention with the interior, and it would be hard to choose a winner. We love the outdoor seating areas – whether you’ve chosen to enjoy a meal on the covered terrace or you’re simply tucked up on the sofa taking a quiet five minutes to yourself, the view is framed perfectly by the arches. You’ll find it hard to drag yourself away from this tranquil spot. 

For those seeking a bit more action, the sun glistening off the surface of the pool is bound to invite you in for a swim, after which you can stretch out on a sun lounger with the mountains as your backdrop. With petanque, table tennis and a full-size clay tennis court, you’ll never be lost for something to do. With the beauty of nature wrapping around you, here, you’ve found a little slice of Spanish paradise.

There is something truly magical about this corner of Spain – maybe it’s the white, sandy beaches, the stunning views, or the vibrant culture. Staying at this gorgeous villa, nestled amidst lush greenery and overlooking the breathtaking sea vistas will allow you to experience all of the above. 

Even before stepping through the front door, you’ll be charmed by the vast garden and pool area, which boast magnificent panoramas and offer peace and tranquillity. There is a pool house here, too, so you can get yourself prepared for an afternoon of lounging about, catching up on your holiday reads and working on your tan. The outdoor barbecue oven and dining area make it an ideal spot for enjoying delicious alfresco meals with your family and friends.

Come inside and feel instantly embraced by the home’s cosy vibe – we love the stone floors and wooden details, not to mention the charming fireplace, which can offer added warmth should a chillier night catch you by surprise. The plush, comfy bedrooms carry the promise of a restful night’s sleep – wake up refreshed and enjoy your breakfast on the upstairs terrace, taking in the wonderful views of the seaside and the surrounding mountains. 

Once you’re ready to head out and explore, the area has plenty of exciting activities in store. From horse riding and cycling, to golfing, surfing and sailing – there are numerous options to choose from, all within a fifteen-minute drive from the house. If you prefer to simply relax and enjoy the beach, head out to the gorgeous El Arenal, a mere six minutes away by car.  


With a View to Dream

This beautifully-styled home offering panoramic sea views deserves to be at the top of your list if you’re looking for a home just footsteps from the beach. The sandy shores of Granadella, with its seafront restaurants, are just a flip-flop away. A great choice for friends or couples sharing, each bedroom offers direct access to the top-floor balconies, so there's no need to tussle for the best room. While that private pool and sun-kissed terrace for alfresco barbecues are all about socialising. It’s worth noting that while the hillside setting is magnificent, you’ll need to navigate a steep driveway. However, there’s roadside parking for the less confident drivers out there.

Marigold Moon

Rustic and inviting with far-reaching views of the Jávea countryside, this villa is an ideal place for a family or group of friends to unwind and make memories on Spain’s Costa Blanca. Inside, timber beams and traditional furnishings make the house a home-from-home. Spend mornings relaxing with a good book in the cosy living space before coming together for a tasty breakfast on the covered terrace. 

Outside, blooming gardens give way to a shimmering pool – perfect for plunging into when the heat starts to rise. A summer kitchen with dining set-up encourages long, lazy lunches. Tuck into freshly caught fish seasoned with lemons picked from the tree, then, when you’re replete, call dibs on a lounger and bask in the golden sunshine. 

If exploring is on the agenda, take the short drive to Platja de la Grava for a stroll along the pebbles and a swim in the warm Mediterranean Sea. Or why not head north to Dénia for a history lesson at Dénia Castle followed by a stroll around the charming old town with a well-deserved ice cream in hand. 

Sweet Lemon

This charming, characterful and quintessentially Spanish home boasts a private garden and alfresco dining area as well as plenty of indoor-outdoor seating and a balcony from which to admire the stunning, surrounding countryside. Featuring a fully equipped kitchen and an open plan dining cum living room – think whitewashed walls adorned with paintings and decorative plates, wooden doors, window frames, shutters and beautiful beamed ceilings – this captivating casa is simply sensational. 

You’ll love this artfully decorated home for its inimitable interiors as well as its carefully curated indoor-outdoor and open-air spaces. Take your morning cup of coffee out on the balcony, whip up family-sized feasts in the kitchen and dine alfresco on the patio. Laze on loungers in the sun or shade, whatever floats your boat, before a sneaky sundowner back up on the balcony and a sofa session in front of the wood burning stove. 

Alternatively, spend the day at one of the best swimming pool complexes in Jávea complete with waterslides and kid friendly pools as well as seasonal café and games room. Play at paddle tennis or, if you’re more in the mood for a leisurely stroll, you’ll be able to reach the rocky coves of Cala Blanca and the Montañar II seafront in five minutes. Sandy Arenal beach is also no more than ten minutes away, what could be more blissful?


Arches & Awnings

Be the first to see the sun every morning from this elevated hilltop home on the Costa Blanca. Pick your spot on the large terrace and relax with a coffee as the sun rises over the shimmering Mediterranean. It’s a peaceful location with nothing but blue sky above and glorious vistas in front. The cool pool and covered dining area have the best views in the house, looking out over craggy cliffs and green mountains, to the blue below. It’s a glorious spot for alfresco dinners or poolside aperitivos. Inside, this comfortable red-roofed home is simple and well appointed. There are two separate kitchens with open-plan living areas, giving plenty of scope for some privacy if you need it. But with traditional touches and a Scandi-style wood burner, it manages to be cosy too. Set in the small, family-friendly village of Benitachell, there are hiking trails close by, from where you can admire even more stunning scenery, and the beach is a mere five-minute drive away.

Mar Y Cielo

Mountain views, a private pool and contemporary rooms – this home welcomes you to enjoy it all from the hills of Jávea. Set across three floors, the house offers plenty of chill-out spots along with a hot tub, exercise equipment and an office for remote workers. It’s also family-friendly with cots and high chairs available on request and a children’s zone in the swimming pool. You will need a car to get around here, but it’s just 5 kilometres to the beach and the centre of Jávea. 

Serene Escape

Boasting gorgeous views, a private pool, and space for alfresco dining, this villa guarantees a stylish stay. It's not suitable for young children due to the lack of fencing in the some of the outdoor areas and the pool, but there are ground-floor bedrooms and bathrooms, and a double sofa bed for some extra flexibility in the sleeping arrangements. We highly recommend having a car here, but it's not far to drive into the centre of Jávea or the nearby golf course. Further away, you'll find spectacular days out in the bustling city of Alicante and its beautiful beaches.

Casa de Tierra

The green vistas and pretty enclosed gardens of this traditional villa perched on the hillsides of Javea are charming. Well-geared for family holidays close to the sea, kids will love you for that outdoor playground and trampoline, and you'll all appreciate those shady terraces and private pool when it's time to beat the heat. Location-wise, you're just a five-kilometre drive to the horseshoe-shaped El Arenal Beach. With shallow waters and gently shelving sands, it's perfect for little ones. 

Casa de Sal

Nestled in a quiet spot in Altea, this villa has a private pool, three floors and two terraces to stretch your legs on. While some of the furnishings might be a little dated, the views from the bedrooms' balconies are fantastic.  The outdoor amenities make this home shine, with a lush garden to tire out the kids, sunbeds for the grown-ups, and alfresco dining facilities. Altea la Vieja is a brisk twenty-minute walk from your doorstep, known for its restaurants and golf course.

Swimming in the Shade

This is a villa that will have even the most hard-to-please guests grinning. A lot of that is down to its fabulous views of the glistening Mediterranean and Isla del Portitxol, but special praise also goes to the peaceful swimming pool surrounded by treetops and the covered terrace complete with an alfresco dining table. Although some of the bathrooms are a little dated, we've only got kind words for the three-level layout – we particularly love the main bedroom with a sea-facing balcony. To top it all off, you don't have far to venture for beautiful gold-sand beaches, either.

The Spanish Riviera

Less than 100 metres from one of the most coveted beaches Benissa, this contemporary apartment provides a perfect base for exploring the Costa Blanca. With such close proximity to Playa de Fustera, you'll have easy access to sun, sea and sand, as well as vibrant beach bars and picture-perfect picnic areas.

When you aren't on the beach, there's plenty to keep you entertained at home. With a shared pool surrounded by comfy sun loungers and luxurious Balinese beds, order yourself a cocktail from the on-site bar and enjoy the Spanish weather. Go for a swim to cool down or take a seat at one of the tables to soak up your surroundings. The apartment itself has all of the comforting touches you need to feel right at home, as well as a private balcony that overlooks the pool deck. Start your day here with a cup of coffee, before heading off to see what Benissa has to offer.

Being located in one of the oldest towns on the Costa Blanca means there's plenty to see. Stroll down the Medieval streets and observe the historic buildings and ongoing restoration projects if you're interested in the area's history. If you'd prefer to stay close to the water, Benissa is a popular place to go scuba diving, due to the variety of marine life that inhabits its shores.

When evening falls, head back home to enjoy some live music and a fantastic sunset, or tuck into an alfresco meal from the laid-back restaurant.
