Sunny garden, private swimming pool, and close to Costa Blanca's scenic beaches? No wonder this villa ticks all our boxes. The highlight is, of course, the patio, where lounging in the Spanish rays and dining under the stars will definitely be on the cards. We also like the single-level layout, which is ideal for older couples or guests who struggle with stairs. Location-wise, it's just 3 kilometres from Platja Granadella, while Jávea's collection of restaurants, shops and attractions is about 5 kilometres away.

Tangerine Summer

This spacious villa is located within a residential beach area in the coastal town of Javea, Costa Blanca. Spread across one floor, it's a great option for larger groups of friends or family who want a self-catered stay that's close to the sea. It's not the most luxurious home – the decor is quite basic – but it's clean and bright with a fully-equipped kitchen. We love the large outdoor area which can be easily accessed from the open-plan living room. The private swimming pool is a good size and there are BBQ facilities for guests to use too. You'll find plenty of local amenities and attractions nearby but if you want to explore further afield then we suggest a car for ease.

Sweet & Sunshine

With sea views and plenty of spots to soak up the rays, this villa makes an ideal Costa Blanca retreat. Everyone will enjoy the swimming pool, while the covered terrace and sun-kissed sitting area are perfect for dinner and drinks in the coastal breeze. Sure, the design isn't the most modern, but there's a lot of room to spread out inside – not to mention it's kitted out with everything you need for a fuss-free stay. A car is a must here, as this home is located in the hills above the town. Still, it's just a short drive to Jávea's beaches, restaurants, and buzzing centre.

Tropical Teal

If you’re looking to bask in the sunshine of the Spanish coast, then look no further – this finca-style villa is the perfect escape away from it all. Perched high in the district of Balcón al Mar, you'll have far-reaching views of the glistening Mediterranean sea below. Soak your toes in the pool, curl up with a book on the plush sofas, and light up the barbecue for long, lazy lunches under the shaded veranda. A traditional building, its style is modernity – think bright painted walls, marble patterned floors and a glorious mint-green kitchen ideal for whipping up round of cocktails or a jug of sangria – complete with a sun-kissed balcony overlooking the ocean to enjoy it on. When you’re not sunbathing or sipping chilled drinks, lazy days are best spent on the warm sandy shores of Costa Blanca, just a short drive down the road. That’s the beauty of this stunning location – you’ll feel a world away from the popular busy resorts down below, but close enough to hit local sandy beaches, golf courses, and a surplus of restaurants, cafes, and bars in town. 

Orange Finca

Perched high above the Costa Blanca shores, this finca-style home has conquered indoor-outdoor living – and you'll conquer it too when you stay here. Take a dip in the glistening swimming pool, cool off on the loungers, or take a refreshing outdoor shower, all while gazing at picturesque sea views. Fire up the barbecue and wait for the meat to sizzle away under the gentle shade of the palms, with a chilled glass of something nice. Take a siesta indoors, under wood-beamed ceilings, surrounded by oak furnishings and plenty of bright open spaces. The home benefits from a turret tower, juniper roofing, and a large terrace – it just feels rustic and cosy. Our favourite spot is the poolside dining area, dappled in sunshine with an ocean backdrop. And for further sunshine seeking, the sandy bays and beaches of Jávea nearby make for blissful days. 

Dolphin's Turret

Style and practicality come in equal measure at this villa perched on the hillsides fringing Javea, one of Costa Blanca’s most historical gems. Set just a five-kilometre drive from the fine sandy shores of La Barraca, this family-friendly villa is made for easy holidays close to the sea. You'll love the crisp, fresh interiors, and that private pool surrounded by lawns for kids to have a runabout speaks for itself. Set across one level, there’s not much of a view to talk of, but those lush green gardens and lofty palms make up for that.

The Cactus Flower

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, this spacious four-bedroom villa is nestled in the district of Toscal. The interior of the villa is contemporary and clean if a little boring. However, the outdoor communal areas are generous. The private pool and ping pong table will keep the kids entertained, while the barbecue will inspire you to cook up the freshest fish from the local market. As the sun sets, enjoy socialising over some sangria on the covered terrace. This villa is a fantastic base for those looking to explore the coastline. With three popular beaches, including the sandy El Arenal just a short drive away.


Casa de Sierra

This elegant villa, located just a short drive from the beach and the town of Jávea is great fit for a small family. While you’ll need a car to explore and reach the coast, the tranquil setting and generous outdoor area make up for it. With two terraces for alfresco dining and a stylish interior, this home guarantees a restful stay. You’ll need to keep an eye on the little ones, especially around the pool and the internal staircase. 

The Golden Rose

Enjoy a stellar stay at this contemporary apartment, based just a few hundred metres from Arenal beach, and close to plenty of vibrant bars and restaurants that make this area so sought-after. This home offers calming neutral interiors, with arty touches that make it feel super stylish, and modern amenities to make your stay as easy as can be. Based on a fantastic gated complex, staying here means you’ll have access to the lovely outdoor shared pool, as well as some idyllic gardens that are very inviting for an afternoon stroll.

We recommend you start sunny days here by enjoying a coffee on your private balcony while you gaze out at the lush greenery surrounding you, and the mountains in the distance. Cook up some huevos rotos and dine alfresco on your balcony dining set as you watch the sun come up. When the midday heat arrives, head down to the shared pool for a refreshing dip. Enjoy a long walk around the gardens, complete with a lovely pond. Head out to explore the quaint streets of this coastal town, and head to a beach bar for a cocktail. In the evenings, wind down on the balcony with a sundowner in hand, or find a local restaurant for delicious paella and sangria.

Palm-Lined Skies

Traditional character meets modern elegance at this impressive villa, near Xabia. Set within lush gardens, it'll appeal to the nature lover who prefers to feel grass between their toes after their morning swim. The outdoor space is spot on, with a huge covered terrace where you can eat meals together or relax on the sofas, and when you're ready to soak up some sun, head out to the comfy loungers by the pool. And indoors the style fits the whole natural vibe down to the ground, with whitewashed walls and ceiling beams, a stone fireplace and wood floors. Rustic design touches, like rattan light shades and jute rugs, make for a homely feel, while cosy sofas face each other in the bright living room, and a modern kitchen sits just off it. The beaches of El Arenal and La Granadella are just a short drive away, and there are all sorts of restaurants and bars to explore locally.

Admired Miranda

Not far from the golden sand beaches and secret coves of Costa Blanca, this home is a slice of serenity on the Spanish coast. Thick wooden oak beams, white arched walls, and pastoral paintings give the space a traditional feel. There are some quirky stylings too: the candy pink bathroom with its jet tub feels very 50s, as do the cream sofas in the large living space. There's oodles of space for groups, though we suspect most of your time will be spent outside. Nab your spot on a sun lounger by the long pool or wander through the verdant gardens to find a stone pergola – perfect for siestas. There are several good restaurants within easy walking distance, but with such a peaceful location, we prefer to stock up on local goodies and feast while seated on the wrought-iron furniture back at the home.
