Located on the cusp of the Eixample neighbourhood, this apartment puts you in an excellent position to explore the city in style. It's right on the Ronda de la Universitat, a major thoroughfare in the city, but this sanctuary is pretty peaceful – thanks to it being on the inner side of the building, you get to enjoy the central location without the noise. We liked the splashes of mauve in the living room, as well as the use of natural materials. The kitchen is kitted out with basic seasonings and cooking ingredients, and there's a juicer and Nespresso machine to make mornings a delight. And the true standout feature of this home is the bedroom, with its impressive modern twist on a classic four-poster bed and painted brick wall. Step outside, and it's just a four-minute walk to the Plaça de Catalunya, and you can arrive at the labyrinthine Gothic Quarter in less than fifteen minutes. 

Cuboides

Located in Barcelona's lively Eixample district, this apartment is fit for groups looking to be in the heart of it all. Just a short stroll will take you to Rambla de Cataluña's excellent shopping and dining options, while the cultural landmarks of Gaudí's Casa Batlló and Casa Milà are a fifteen-minute walk from your home. The bedrooms are light and comfortable, although they do vary in size. You've also got a private balcony, a fully equipped kitchen and an open dining area for group breakfasts and morning coffees before setting off for a busy day of sightseeing.

Orange & Lemon

Cool, calm and collected, this Scandinavian-chic penthouse is blessed with plenty of charisma. Everything about this home is effortlessly stylish – we especially love the vintage Beni Ourain-inspired rug, the handcrafted wooden light fixture, and the 1950s Ercol butterfly chairs. However, the cherry on top is the huge arched window in the living room, which frames the beautiful buildings of Avenida Diagonal in a mesmerising way. So, excuse us while we take a moment to imagine ourselves sitting in front of the luminous windows, enjoying the majestic views. Should this magnificent view not be enough, there's also a welcoming private terrace that's kitted out for alfresco feasts, while the adjacent sunroom is perfect for an afternoon siesta. Enjoy a glass of cava on the sun lounger before heading out to explore the neighbourhood. Explore Eixample and stroll along nearby streets, including the pedestrianised Enric Granados, vibrant Casanova and upmarket Aribau – all of which are lined with charming cafes, outstanding restaurants and vibrant bars within a fifteen-minute walk.

Meet Cute

This grand apartment is a rare city find, with its ornate interiors, picturesque terrace and central location. It’s an ideal spot if you’re visiting as a large group, with sharing-style bedrooms and a large living room for enjoying post-sightseeing drinks. That said, the apartment is a little compact in areas, with the kitchen being better suited for light bites and the dining room only seating six or eight at most. Location-wise, Plaça Catalunya, Passeig de Gràcia, and La Rambla are just a short walk away.

Catalunya Charm

Catalan tradition meets southeast Asian simplicity in this gorgeous apartment, right in the heart of lively Eixample Dreta. Every inch is warm, inviting and bright – it all feels very natural, with jute accents, Juliet balconies, cream-coloured walls and rich wood tones. We don't know about you, but we'd love to come home to this soothing space after a long day out and about. It's never too early to put a record on the vinyl player and lounge on the macramé hammock, while the quaint balcony overlooking the local market is the perfect spot to savour a glass of Spain's finest wine in the evening sun. After dinner, sink into the squishy sofas and catch up on your favourite Netflix shows, or, if you need to get some work done, the desks in the third bedroom make excellent workspaces. 

Location-wise, this charming neighbourhood is characterised by the famous Gaudi-inspired architecture, the most famous of which are Casa Batlló and Casa Milà, both fifteen minutes away on foot. There's something for everyone here – outstanding restaurants serving a range of cuisines, fashionable shopping around Paseo de Gracia and trendy cocktail bars if you want to experience Barcelona's nightlife. Plus, all the must-see sights are either within walking distance or easily reached via public transportation – you can't do much better than that.

Jute & Macramé

Orange Moon has been renovated recently with a bright, modern look in mind, with the greenery, the terrace and the bohemian-inspired furniture keeping it warm, inviting and cosy. You can look out over the Sagrada Familia and the brilliant Mediterranean sea while sipping your morning coffee. Though you’re only a few steps from the Passeo de Gracia, Avenida Diagonal, and Rambla de Catalunya, the private balcony and views to the sea make it seem a world away from the busy city. With a metro stop one block away, you’re also very well-placed to explore all parts of Barcelona and its surroundings.

Orange Moon

Just a short walk from the bustling Avinguda Diagonal, this apartment is perfectly placed for exploring Barcelona. Take a stroll down to Plaça de Catalunya, passing Casa Milà on the way – it's a half-hour on foot – or wine and dine at the restaurants, bars and authentic food markets dotted around the neighbourhood. Want to venture a little farther? Gràcia Station is eight minutes on foot, so you'll be able to zip around the city with ease.

After an adventure-filled day, come home and rest your feet in this comfortable flat. Open a bottle of wine and share a glass or two around the dining table alongside tapas and a delicious feast if you're in the mood to cook. On summer evenings, step out onto the Juliet balcony and catch the last of the day's rays before climbing into the cosy beds for a good night's sleep. The layout is roomy and bright, with a few characterful features adding some classic Catalan personality – we're especially fond of the stone arch in the main bedroom. And with the option to book wine tastings, guided tours, cooking classes, private chefs and more, we can't think of a better spot to call home.

Dappled Onyx

As you wander the wide boulevards of the Eixample district, don’t forget to look up. With every step you take, you can hardly avoid a striking piece of architecture. From Gaudí’s quarry-like Casa Milà, to the dreamlike dragon scales of Casa Batlló, your apartment is less than a six-minute walk from both. And like the designs of the city’s most famous son, your home doesn’t exactly follow Catalan tradition.

Natural and urban worlds collide in this warm and welcoming apartment, where hanging plants and potted shrubs create a greenhouse vibe in the living space. Wicker chairs and woven fabrics deepen this organic connection, with a hay-like feature decor piece bringing the theme together in this botanical adobe. The furniture however remains modern and sophisticated, with Scandi ideals creating a zen-like atmosphere – stick something soothing on the record player to complete the ambience.

We also imagine you’ll be spending a lot of time out on the balcony's wooden dining set, nibbling olives and sipping tempranillo. With boutique shops and lively restaurants lining the streets below, you can take a good look from up here to decide where you might check out later.

Botanic Ambient

With a private concierge, access to a gym and a sauna too, this apartment is more of a mission to outdo luxury hotels than a cosy holiday home. Upon check-in, you'll be given a pillow catalogue to make sure your neck and head are well-rested, and that's just one example of the high-end service on offer. This home is built with a love for the finer things, so expect designer furniture, rainfall showers, and a highly curated selection of artworks. Our favourite personal touch is the well-stocked bookshelf with titles in all genres, while the shared swimming pool gives you fantastic views across Barcelona's rooftops. Getting around couldn't be simpler from this location in Eixample, which is home to Gaudí's Casa Milà and Sagrada Familía along with countless restaurants, boutiques and bars. 

The Epicurean Spirit

This south-facing rooftop apartment is a real suntrap. Not only is the kitchen illuminated throughout the day, but all the bedrooms are blessed with large external windows too. And if there's one thing you can never have too much of in a home, it's light. We're in love with the kitchen and terrace, with views across the city and plenty of outdoor seating for everyone to enjoy breakfast in the sunshine. There's also a barbecue out here for alfresco summer evenings grilling dinner as the neighbourhood's residents return from work and things spring to life. While it might not be the most centrally located, the upmarket residential neighbourhood of Sarría offers a peaceful break from the bedlam of central Barcelona. Packed with posh homes, shops and restaurants, it was an independent town until 1921, when the city engulfed it. However, it still retains something of that small town Catalan charm without having to leave the city. If you're searching for an authentic Barcelona experience, then look no further.

Glasshouse

High above Plaça de Catalunya, this penthouse is one we love for its spectacular views of Barcelona's skyline. The large, private terrace is the star of the show in this home – it's the perfect place to top up the tan or enjoy evening drinks. For lunch, prepare some tapas in the modern kitchen and enjoy at the dining table, or take a seat on the comfy sofa and plan the rest of your day. Out and about, have a stroll around Plaça de Catalunya, right on your doorstep, with its pretty fountains. Or, it's around a fifteen-minute walk to one of Antoni Gaudi's most iconic works, Casa Milà. Just over a ten-minute stroll, you'll find the charming Gothic Quarter with its medieval streets filled with trendy bars, while flower stalls line busy avenue La Rambla. To get the most out of your vacation, your host can organise tours or even food experiences. There's so much to do and see here – you'll probably need to come back for another stay.

Ciutat Vella

Immerse yourself in the vibrant Eixample neighbourhood in this sleek apartment. Start your day sipping coffee on the private balcony (one of two, we might add) overlooking the bustling streets below, then head out to explore the nearby Paseo de Gracia, Rambla Catalunya, and Gaudi's architectural masterpieces. Enjoy dinner in the mid-century-style dining room, followed by cocktails and vinyl in the living room, or head up to the shared rooftop terrace for a dip in the pool. This pad offers the perfect retreat for experiencing Barcelona's eclectic energy while soaking up the Spanish lifestyle from the comfort of your own space.
