Perched along handsome Gran Vía Avenue and just a stroll from the Gothic Quarter and all the must-see sights, the location of this apartment is spot-on. But it's the sense of space that impresses us the most about this L'Eixample bolthole. Each bedroom with an en-suite is as beautifully styled as the next, with Juliet balcony doors flooding in natural daylight. It's worth noting if ten guests share, it could be a squeeze fitting you all around the dining table. Though with countless buzzy tapas bars and restaurants just moments from your door, we wouldn't blame you for eating out instead.

Gran Vía Gem

This home emanates a true sense of relaxation. With a playful interchange between the gentle white colours, rough wood, and exposed brick, Spectre has a lot to offer for lovers of rustic minimalism. Natural Light is a key element in creating a pleasant, warm atmosphere, aided by the semi-transparent curtains. Located in Eixample, the heart of the action in Barcelona, Spectre is surrounded by delicious cafes and restaurants – not to mention the numerous central sights, including the famous Casa Batlló.

Spectre

This Spanish pad in Eixample Esquerra is just as chic as the surrounding neighbourhood. With long corridors, there’s plenty of space for people to spread out and find their own quiet nook here – the balcony just off the main bedroom is a perfect example. We like the separate kitchen, which is ready and waiting to help with your culinary efforts – although, with Michelin-starred restaurants and cosy bistros nearby, we’re sure that meals out sampling authentic Spanish cuisine will be high on the agenda. 

Eixample Elegance

With its trendy colour palette and sleek modern design, this Eixample apartment offers first-class urban living. The marine blue accent wall makes the open-plan living space feel connected and cosy, while boiserie and marble-effect details add a touch of elegance. You’ll begin your mornings at the dining table with a traditional Catalan breakfast before nipping onto the balcony to bask in the glorious sunshine. 

Spend afternoons ticking off Barcelona’s cultural hot spots – Gaudí’s Casa Batlló is a mere 160 metres from your building and La Sagrada Família is a leisurely twenty-five-minute walk away. Weave through the Gothic Quarter’s charming streets – stop for a coffee on La Rambla and pore over the masterpieces in the Picasso Museum. And when the day draws to a close, take the twenty-four-minute bus trip to Barceloneta Beach to watch the sun set over the glittering Mediterranean. 

La Modernista

Above the hustle and bustle of its Eixample neighbourhood, this home instantly makes you feel awash with a sense of calm thanks to its beautiful earthy palette and large windows filling each room with light. The living area is the ideal spot to relax and unwind with its feature wall of cubby shelving framing a TV, a tumble of vibrant ferns, a record player to get your groove on and – best of all – French doors that open onto a private balcony. We love this outdoor haven with its Acapulco chair and table inviting morning coffees and sunset drinks while taking in views over Barcelona’s busy avenues. Once you’ve had your caffeine fix on the terrace, head to the study to catch up on work at the desk or hang out for a while in the hammock while reading a good book. When you’re ready to explore, head for Casa Milà just fifteen minutes away on foot, or stay more local to discover Eixample’s grid of great restaurants, boutiques and bars. After a day of seeing the sights, come back home for a refreshing shower in the sleek bathrooms before sitting down for a meal at home. With the master bedroom boasting its own private balcony too, enjoy a final nightcap in the balmy air before curling up in bed for a restful night’s sleep.


The Art Of Being

There's a reason Eixample is one of Barcelona's most sought-after neighbourhoods. It's known for modernist architecture, upscale shopping, and lively eateries – in our opinion, you couldn't ask for a better stomping ground. Alongside being centrally located, this apartment is stylish and comfortable. We're big fans of the hanging chair in the main bedroom's sunny nook – the perfect spot to unwind with a glass of Rioja – while the dedicated workspace is ideal for business travellers. The second bedroom is on the cosier side, so it's a better fit for children.

Be Live

This apartment has a modern style and is located in the heart of Barcelona's bustling city centre, next to Plaça de Catalunya and Passeig de Gràcia. Just a five-minute stroll from the Barri Gòtic and El Born, as well as being surrounded by plenty of bars and restaurants, you really couldn't be asked to be better placed. The home also benefits from a Juliet balcony and a stylish living area with a sociable breakfast bar – ideal for morning coffees before setting off for a day of sightseeing. You're also a three-minute walk from the FGC train station and the Plaça Catalunya metro station, both connecting you to the entire city with ease. 

Franciscan Flavour

You’ll find this chic apartment in Barcelona’s Sant Antoni neighbourhood. It’s a great part of the city for enjoying alfresco drinks, meandering along tree-lined streets, and shopping in stylish boutiques. There’s an old-world charm to this part of Barcelona, which makes it a charming base for seeing the sights – which is as easy as can be thanks to the proximity of the Universitat metro station. The apartment is stylish and comfortable, with everything you might need for a city break. We love that guests staying here get access to a shared rooftop terrace. 

The Raval Pearl

This south-facing rooftop apartment is a real suntrap. Not only is the kitchen illuminated throughout the day, but all the bedrooms are blessed with large external windows too. And if there's one thing you can never have too much of in a home, it's light. We're in love with the kitchen and terrace, with views across the city and plenty of outdoor seating for everyone to enjoy breakfast in the sunshine. There's also a barbecue out here for alfresco summer evenings grilling dinner as the neighbourhood's residents return from work and things spring to life. While it might not be the most centrally located, the upmarket residential neighbourhood of Sarría offers a peaceful break from the bedlam of central Barcelona. Packed with posh homes, shops and restaurants, it was an independent town until 1921, when the city engulfed it. However, it still retains something of that small town Catalan charm without having to leave the city. If you're searching for an authentic Barcelona experience, then look no further.

Glasshouse

Discover Barcelona from the residential location of Hospitalet de Llobregat – offering a tranquil experience set back far enough from the bustle of the city yet close enough to enjoy the city's attractions with convenience. 

Without a shadow of a doubt, the rooftop terrace is one of the home's best features. Up here, you can relax, refresh and reset your mind from life's monotonous routines by soaking up the sunshine at every opportunity. You'll find a heated plunge pool for bathing in the open air as well as plenty of perching spots to unwind with a glass of sangria in hand. In fact, why not rustle up your own meals and dine alfresco? 

Alternatively, you'll also have the option to dine inside – and the dining area doubles up as a desk space, too, should you need to work from home. With a modern and minimal aesthetic across the space, relaxing here couldn't be easier and balancing cultural days out exploring Barcelona with all-important rest and relaxation is strongly encouraged. 

Nearby, you'll find the neighbourhood of Montjuic, boasting an array of "pinchos bars" offering small Basque tapas. Meanwhile, you'll be within easy reach of Barcelona's monuments, parks and shopping opportunities and beautiful sandy beaches via easily accessible public transport. 

Rooftop Reset 

This stylish apartment, housed in a grand period building, has a fantastic address. Gaudí's masterpiece Casa Batlló is a three-minute saunter, while it's a six-minute stroll to Paseo De Gracia with its museums and designer boutiques galore (Gucci, Chanel and Versace, amongst many others). Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas, on the other hand, are a ten-minute walk away or visit one of Barcelona's most iconic attractions, the Sagrada Familia, just over twenty minutes on foot.

Back at this home, open the French doors to the balcony and have a seat on the comfy sofa after all that sightseeing. We love the high ceilings here and traditional wall mouldings. There's a gorgeous, modern four-poster bed as well – this place is perfect for a couple or friends looking for a bolt hole in Barcelona.
