Tucked away in Maria de la Salut – a small hilltop town in central Mallorca – this cosy home for two is a wonderful pied-à-terre. Modern comfort and traditional style blend beautifully, with crisp, clean interiors that enhance the beauty of the traditional stonework of the terrace. 

Though the quiet, leafy setting of the house lends itself to rest and relaxation, you’re not far from the fun. Drive just nineteen minutes to reach Can Picafort, a gorgeous white sand beach with the crystal clear waters you think of when planning a trip to Mallorca. To really get a feel for how locals live, on Wednesdays head to Sineu and its authentic and historic market. In nine minutes you can be browsing local produce and livestock at a market that’s taken place for over 700 years. 

If you’ve loaded up on fresh veggies and seafood, you’ll be grateful for the modern kitchen at the villa. Open up the sliding doors and enjoy a glass of wine while your paella is simmering. Dine under the stars, and spend the night spotting constellations and making memories. 


Sunbeams On Stone

Located in the centre of Mallorca, this rural bolthole suits a couple or a solo traveller seeking some peace and quiet. The home is part of a complex with a communal swimming pool and barbecue, but you’ll have your own terrace for enjoying light meals in the sunshine. While there is a kitchenette here, there isn’t an oven, so if you fancy a feast, we recommend making a beeline for the restaurants in nearby Costitx. When a trip to the beach is in order, Playa del Muro is a thirty-minute drive away.


The Flawless Soul

Escape to this traditional Mallorcan hideaway for two, tucked away in the hills of Pollença. The vast grounds surrounded by citrus and olive groves are impressive, but that private pool just for the two of you has caught our eye here. Should you ever be tempted to stray from this idyllic gem, you're closer to the bustle than you think. The pretty cobbled streets of Pollença are just a two-kilometre drive away, and a little further, the soft blonde shores of the coast.

The Gardens of Life

It’s not often you find a villa for two, a cosy bolthole in the countryside, with a big private swimming pool and full outdoor kitchen. This traditional stone cottage is ideal for a couple or even a solo traveller looking to make the most of the Balearic sunshine and get away from it all. It’s perched up in the Tramuntana Mountains, where walking trails snake across the landscape. Yet it’s just a fifteen-minute walk (or three-minute drive) into the heart of medieval Fortnalutx town for restaurants, pavement bars and supermarkets.

The outside space took our breath away, with mountain views from every corner and a pristine swimming pool in the centre of the stone terrace. There are plenty of spots to enjoy a barbecue feast from the summer kitchen – the stone seats looking out over the ravine, the plush wicker chairs, or at the stone table beneath the ancient olive tree. Inside, crisp white walls and ink-black iron accents whisper of the old world and there’s a wood-burning stove at the centre of the living room. Books dotted throughout the home can provide an escape from the everyday, and there’s a flatscreen TV if binge-watching your favourite shows is more your thing. 

Sunshine On The Mountains

This charming rural home is located in the beautiful countryside of Mallorca. It’s the perfect base for couples seeking tranquillity and relaxation – it’s surrounded by nature. You’ll need a car to get around, whether you want to visit the beaches to the north or shop at the local markets. The apartment shares an outdoor pool with three other homes, and you’ll have a small garden to enjoy too. We love the terrace for alfresco dining, too. Is there anything better than dining under the stars?

Nature's Kiss

Just a short drive from the north Mallorcan coast, this white-painted finca gives you easy access to four sandy coves at the nearby Cala Sant Vicenç. A stone's throw away from this secluded spot amid the sprawling countryside, all the enchantment of Pollença awaits – including historic churches, traditional restaurants, and a local farmers' market where residents and tourists congregate each Sunday.

Where classic heritage meets modern elegance, this charming villa invites you and your loved one to wake up beneath wood beams and whip up a Balearic breakfast for two. After a romantic outing, imagine lazing on the lawn or dipping your toes into the plunge pool. Perhaps you'd prefer to challenge your partner to a ping pong match out on the stony terrace. Before an afternoon siesta, be sure to escape the midday heat and relax indoors with a refreshing glass of Sangria. We think that firing up the barbecue for a sunset supper has never sounded better.

Set on a remote plot, surrounded by fields of green and the backdrop of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains, you'll have a haven of tranquillity with this serene spot as your base from which to discover the island of Mallorca. With your own private swimming pool, ample outdoor garden space including alfresco dining areas, a sunbathing terrace, and a hidden sun trap on the rooftop overlooking spectacular countryside views – adapting to the blissful lifestyle here comes easy. 

Inside, exposed wooden beams and terracotta tiled flooring pave the way to an authentic Mallorcan stay, with wooden furnishings adding warmth and modern home comforts, creating a relaxing place to chill out between your adventures out and time spent relaxing in the garden. 

Located right in the island's centre, you'll be no more than forty-five to sixty minutes away from almost anywhere in Mallorca when staying in Selva. So why not rent bikes and follow the scenic cycle routes scattered around the island? Or hop in the car to discover the picturesque beaches and coves of the island's eastern coastline, explore the quaint Mediterranean villages in the west or set off on a day of culture, shopping and fine dining opportunities with a day trip to Palma. 


Summer Crush 

To the backdrop of the Sierra Tramuntana foothills, this villa is ideally situated in the picturesque north of Mallorca, just outside the Roman town of Pollença and a short drive away from Port de Pollença and its pine-tree-lined coastal walkway. With sandy beaches, bars, and restaurants nearby, and nature on your doorstep, there’s no doubt this home boasts an enviable location. What we love most, though, is the sense of tranquillity here. Perfect for a romantic break away from it all, the quaint interiors and sun-kissed outdoor space will charm you from the moment you arrive. 

The Sun on a Mountain View

Just a five-minute drive from Pollença, this villa makes for a handy base. The white sand of Cala San Vincente is just fifteen minutes away, as are lively Alcúdia and Port de Pollença. Aside from its great location, this home also has size on its side – there’s heaps of room for just two guests. The decor is traditional, so it won’t appeal to everyone, but the outside space, with its lovely view, private pool, and covered terrace, surely will. 

The Mural

Fresh as a daisy, this cantaloupe-coloured villa surrounded by meadows is a restorative treat. The all-white interiors create calm from the minute you arrive, and you can really tell the host has chosen the furnishings thoughtfully. The fairy light jars and floral accents are endearing touches, but you won’t be able to resist a whirlwind romance with the private garden. 

In juxtaposition with the interior, outside is an oasis of nature and colour impossible not to fall in love with. You can spend all day out here and never get bored. We earmarked the hammock for afternoon siestas straight away and loved the fact we could enjoy our homemade lunch in the shade of the arbour. A post-lunch hot tub dip will become a daily ritual, before rinsing off in the outdoor shower and heading on foot into Villafranca de Bonany (a ten-minute walk) for an evening tapas meal.

Hey There, Bright Eyes

Framed by beautiful fuchsia bougainvillaeas and boasting a privileged position just a stone’s throw from a small, scenic beach, this inviting home is the perfect retreat for those looking for a peaceful coastal stay. Located in the town of Sant Elm on the southwest coast of Majorca, you’ve got Balearic beauty all around you, not to mention a comfortable base to call home. 

Inside, traditional features like wood-framed windows, beamed ceilings and exposed stonework create an instantly charming impression with an eye-catching fireplace in the living area offering an even cosier atmosphere. Open the French doors here to step out onto the pretty patio garden, framed by plants and flowers that give a sweet perfume to the salty sea air. Enjoy alfresco meals here under the shade of the pergola and sip a sundowner while taking in the views. 

Back inside, the bedroom is simple yet welcoming, and there’s an en-suite rainfall shower to get any day off on the right foot. 

When you’re ready to venture out for some exploring, you’ll find a small rocky beach just moments away, while the larger Platja de Sant Elm is within easy walking distance as well. With a plethora of seafront restaurants nearby, as well as hiking and cycling trails to the splendid nature reserve of La Trapa, you’ll have no trouble finding your holiday bliss. 


Bougainvillea Bolero

Stepping inside this stylish apartment feels like a warm embrace. With views across the Bay of Pollença and surrounding mountains, it’s filled with the elements that make Mallorca so special. 

From the natural tones and contemporary styling to the luxurious features, there’s a sense of warmth and comfort that makes it easy to feel at home. You’ll love waking up and stepping out onto the balcony – this is a wonderful place to read, dine, relax and connect with the beauty of the landscape. 

Follow the views down to the sandy beach or make your way along the Pine walk towards the cafés, restaurants, shops and bars of Port de Pollença – the centre is only a ten–minute walk away. And the beautiful old town of Pollença is only a thirteen–minute drive away. 

As the day draws to a close, this home makes the perfect setting to watch the sunset over the horizon. Gather around the table and raise a glass to the timeless beauty of island living.
